- Allan (7/5): Great location - Great location. Easy check in and early access was a bonus It’s not really a hotel. There’s no signage on the outside. It’s directly across from three pretty loud clubs. Our room was in front.
- Holly (7/5): Convenient, Nice for a couple or single person looking to party on the weekends. Not suited for travelers who need 2 be - Right in the middle of all the action. Clean, beautiful master loft bedroom. Great shower water pressure. Fridge. All you need for a couple that wants to party. The pullout sofa bed is a 4ft x 3 foot futon that does not fit an adult. We checked in late so had been messaging the property owner all along saying we needed the futon made up. They never left any sheets or pillows for the futon. And never answered our messages. Also we stayed on a Thursday night and the property is above several nightclubs so the blaring music and people outside were very loud until 3am or so.

Te dan la opción de guardar las maletas si llegas antes del checkin, El timbre está inasequible y se puede dificultar el contacto cuando llegas si no has pagado antes para que te den toda la información del acceso. (ojo: paga antes de llegar)

- Norberto (6/5): Charming - Inexpensive - Keep Expectations Grounded. - The location is amazing. These old buildings are charming and being in the middle of everything is a definite PLUS. The room was clean - the AC Cold - and the bed was comfy. The rooms are laid out weird and it all seems in various states of construction. Outlets on walls 8 feet up. The neon sign took up most of the improvements budget. I would definitely come back and I look forward to seeing them improve this gem of a property. Some other guests complained of the noise, and there was noise, but why the heck come to PR if not to enjoy a good party and watch others do the same. if you want quiet - there are some nursing homes in the middle of the island OR put on the provided ear plugs and take a chill pill. I think the service could have been better. When I called the number for assistance - I did not get a greeting - just "Hello" - I had to ask if it was the hotel...could be better at answering the phones and not sound like im inconveniencing them. There was a young man at the top of the stairs when we arrived - he pointed us to our room, but he did not offer to help with our luggage. there are alot of precarious stairs heading up to our room. Plumbing seems to be an issue as well.

- Frances (2/5): - At $170 it was a reasonable price given most hotels were booked solid on the evening of the recent airport cancellation. There are NO windows in the room and the bathroom was a walled off section of the room with a not-to-code toilet a few inches from the wall, sink and shower (with cold water). The location in Old San Juan is adjacent to the nightclub street and with absolutely no sound proofing for the 3rd floor room, it was crazy loud up until 1pm. It was like sleeping with a boombox next to your ear.

It is well located in the Old Town. - Location was right in the middle of Old San Juan / It was as quiet as probably any hotel right in the Old Town, there are so many bars with lots of lively music and people. / For us it worked well there were no windows and we slept till 11am due to late arrival and jet lag - But, for many that could have been claustrophobic to have such a small space and no windows. I was not prepared for the steep and narrow stairs to the bed. The desk downstairs should be upstairs as there is NOWHERE to put suitcases or stuff when you undress. Had to stand up to turn off the light - Bed T-Cupped in the middle.

- Richard (8/5): Nice Vintage apartment house in Old Town - Very clean, comfortable bed and pillows. We loved the downtown location, however the apartment is right across the street from a very popular bar, so be prepared, if you're not out partying til the wee hours of the morning, you may have an issue with the noise. I will add the property manager kindly offered us a sound machine and earplugs.

- Romperez007 (6/5): Conociendo Viejo San Juan - La ubicación, lo mejor que tiene este lugar en el centro de Viejo San Juan, donde puedes recorrer caminando y de forma segura todo lo que ofrece esta zona. Entiendo que en una zona histórica están muy limitados en las construcciones o remodelaciones que se pueden hacer, pero la habitación creo que se pueden amueblar y decorar de una forma que la haga más agradable.

Doskonały kontakt z właścicielem, który przesłał kompletne informacje o możliwych parkingach w okolicy. Pokoj posprzątany, ręczniki i pościel czyste. Pokój nie miał okna, o czym nie ma informacji w opisie. To bardzo duża wada. Otwór w ścianie (na drzwi balkonowe) jest zastawiony nieszczelnymi deskami zamkniętymi na kłódkę. Gdyby było okno z szybą - byłoby nie tylko światło w pokoju, ale też hałas z baru naprzeciwko byłby mniejszy. W pokoju bardzo strome schody do łóżka (jak drabina), ubytki w suficie - widać że. IE remontowany od bardzo dawna. Wyposażenie bardzo skromne, zamiast szafy tylko wieszak na ubrania.

- abby (4/5): Great place for you.g people not so much for the over 60s crowd - The location was right in the middle of the bar-nightlife scene! Because the property was right in the middle of the night life scene even with ear plugs supplied by the property it was impossible to sleep. I also need to state that the ladder up to the loft bedroom was to difficult to use so we had to sleep on the sofa bed.
- Drimatlly (6/5): - My wife and I stayed in the basic double room which was much smaller than it seemed in the photos. The room was just big enough for the bed and about 1.5ft on each side. The bathroom was so small that I had sit angled in order to fit. You're also instructed to not flush toilet paper and throw it out instead. The shower didn't get very hot but it did the trick. It's also very noisy due to its location but the host does provide ear plugs. The positives though are that the host is very responsive, it's in a great spot in the middle of old san juan and right off a great busy street where all the nightlife is reminiscent of New Orleans. If you're looking for minimal amenities, dont mind a really small room, and are primarily looking for a place to just crash at night before being out all day and night, this can be a top spot for the price.

- Patricia (9/5): Habitación cómoda en el viejo San Juan - Alojamiento en pleno centro del viejo San Juan, justo frente a la factoría a la calle San Sebastián. Es un lugar perfecto para alojarte si vas a salir de fiesta aunque precisamente por eso por la noche se escucha bastante el ruido de la calle. La habitación estaba muy bien. Éramos 4 y abajo había un sofá cama junto al baño y a la nevera y arriba una cama matrimonial. Todo estaba muy limpio y el baño era precioso. Los jabones que nos dejaron olían fenomenal!!!!. El ruido que se escuchaba por la noche en la habitación. Era casi como si estuvieras en la calle pero eso no es culpa del alojamiento, es normal debido a la ubicación junto a los bares de fiesta del viejo San Juan.
- Heriberto (10/5): - El lugar está bueno, tiene buena ubicación en pleno viejo San Juan, la dueña es muy amable, muy atenta y muy servicial. Desventajas es que en la noche cuando hay fiesta hay mucho ruido y las habitaciones no tienen ventana.

- Maxine (6/5): - The location was convenient for fetting to our cruise ship. Unfortunately the weekend we stayed there was limited water in the area due to a major break in a water pipeline. Luckily the property had water storage tanks and we were able to take a shower when we arrived but not in the morning before check out as the water had run out. Eventhoug earplugs were provided, they did not provide effective soundproofing from the music coming from the bars in the area. Ingrid was a good host.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Solo Traveler Gem - Excellent spot for a solo traveler who is out exploring! Walking distance to everything in San Juan. Not ideal if you are renting a car due to lack of parking. Room remained cool my entire stay. Self cleaned the room at checkout. Overall, it was private and perfect for someone who won't really be in the room much! Note, there are narrow stairs going up to the rooms.

- Emily (10/5): Crossed off all of our expectations off ! - The location was amazing. Communication with the host was top-tier. The location was located in the heart of San Juan. We enjoyed being right in the middle of everything if you’re looking for a quiet place. You may wanna look elsewhere the noise didn’t bother us at all. We enjoyed the nightlife and when we came up, it felt so good to hear the island so alive. We will definitely be staying here again and recommending it to our friends and family.

- Jelzee Cates (10/5): - Loved our stay here! We stayed 2 nights and walked around the vicinity of the place. They gave us recommendations on places where to eat,drink and chill! It is SO CLOSE to La Factoria which is a good bar with good drinks. At 12mn to 1am it is still noisy but they provided ear plugs and it did worked. there is Cold and hot water and the bathroom smells good. Fridge is cold also the AC. Check out time was 11am but we were still on a tour to El Morro and they happily said we can stay till 1pm. And it made our day and trip better! Would love to stay here again! Thank you!

- Christine M (10/5): - The staff were very hospitable. This is a unique and authentic Viejo San Juan property. I arrived after midnight on a Thursday after a long cab ride from the airport. There was a party in the streets which slowed my taxis progress. Promptly at 1 or 2 am everything became quiet and I slept soundly in the cozy loft apartment. In the morning the lovely balcony was open and I met my kind host. This isn't the Ritz. If that's your vibe look elsewhere, but if you like an artsy beautiful space and a great experience you’ll be right at home. Great value too!

- Karlo (4/5): - Communication was not good. I had to reach out on the day of my stay. I did not receive a text nor an email about instructions or anything. I did not get the room that I paid for. I paid for a deluxe double room but I got probably the smallest room for me, my wife and two daughters. It's not a good place to stay with family. It's a good room to stay if your single and ready to mingle with good night life.

Very loud at night due to proximity to bars but we knew that when we booked it. Earplugs make it easier to sleep. Great communication with owner, very responsive to questions and provided great local recommendations. Stairs were steep to get to upstairs loft but if able bodied not a problem at all. Would stay again!

- Anne (8/5): Perfect for the right customers - A wise man once said, READ THE DESCRIPTION. This is a basic hotel in a very old building. It is not for everyone. Pros:very clean, great location with lots of dining and drinks options, good air conditioning, communicative host Cons: the neighborhood is very loud. Music late into the night, steep stairs to second floor.

- Schultes (9/5): If you need a clean and convenient place to stay in San Juan, Trotamundos is it! - The property has a prime location in Old San Juan. You are steps away from all of the best attractions, bars and restaurants. Easy 23 minute cab ride to and from the airport. The host Ingrid had great communication so I had a perfect contactless check-in. I met some of the other guests during my stay and they were super friendly. One of the best bars in the Caribbean/world is just across the street. I highly recommend Trotamundos! Nothing.

As I like vintage stays this was right up my alley so much history and culture, So much to explore and the mini balcony great touch, I am definitely coming back here, not far from beach either. - Verified traveler (10/5): Great, as advertised - Very old building in the heart of old San Juan. Place was exactly as pictures showed. Clean, well equipped. Super hot water. Had towels, bedding, shampoo and soap. The place was perfect for us. The host was extremely helpful and replied to messages immediately. Self check-in and check-out was very easy. Noisy at night, yes, but we knew that. It was actually entertaining sitting on the balcony watching the bar scene action across the street from us. Would definitely stay here again.
