Guest Reviews
- Bernadette (8/5): Good Location for Airport - Great location for City Airport
- John (7/5): - Good parking outside the property. Location 3 miles outside central Bemfast was good if you have a car. Quite cheap per night rate so did not expect too much. No windows in room except one 10 inch by 8 inch high in wall above the bed. Wash hand basin too low. Mattress too soft.
- Michelle (1/5): - It was near to my family The room was filthy. No natural light. There was a smell of curry all the time. The doors were internal doors and not secure, no fire doors. You could hear every noise throughout the guest house. Even someones normal comversations. The furniture was marked and stained.
- Julio Cesar (10/5): -
- Niamh (7/5): -
- Michael (7/5): - not enough towels or pillows for two people
most of tv channels not available eg BBC ITV
- Mark (5/5): Good location - It’s in a good location with parking, handy for the ferry. The room I was in had one tiny frosted glass window which was very high up in the wall. I felt like I was in prison. The furniture needs to be changed. The outside door to the building is not locked. I felt unsafe.
- Badette (8/5): -
- Joanne (8/5): - Host was extremely good to us as I had food poisoning and couldn't leave at check out time. Food was plentiful. Shower was amazing. Lovely and clean. Only complaint was shower drain - it smelled very bad
Stanza ampia.
- Therese (9/5): -
- Jhoana (5/5): - Members of staff were accommodating. The room has stale smell.
The body wash has strong masculine smell.
No selection of cold meat for non-pork eater.
- brian (8/5): - Ideal for George Best airport, about 25 minutes walk. Collecting keys from outside easy. Room clean and with tea/coffee making facilities and a shower. Nothing not to like. I'm in Belfast quite a lot and will now always try to book this accommodation
- ALAN (10/5): - It was cosy clean had a lovely nights sleep
- Rachel (8/5): Quiet, comfortable room, equipped with the basics - Short overnight stay, handy location. Private parking. Quiet, comfortable room equipped with the basics. Host on check in was helpful and friendly. Could do with better pillows
- Andrew (7/5): Good value for money no frills accommodation close to Belfast Ciy Airport -
- Keith Grimes (7/5): Cheap and basic enough but thats what you get - i will stay again if price at 50stg or so - no more - Cheap and cheerful - did the job for a low price Parking at the property is very strange - 4 spots at the property but no way could you park 4 or even 2 without blocking your exit - very strange so i parked down the lane a bit where i could see I would not be blocked leaving - especially if you have a large SUV or estate like i do,
- Nathan (10/5): Very close to the airport. Very good value for money. Good parking. Welcoming staff! - Very close to the airport. Very good value for money. Good parking. Welcoming staff.
- cian herlihy (4/5): Not clean and uncomfortable but is convenient - Had parking, although it was tight. Good WiFi and close enough to the city for a short drive Room was not clean, bed was uncomfortable and there was a bit of a stagnant smell in the room when we arrived.
- Rhonda (7/5): - The access of a fridge Bed was uncomfortable
- Dhy (7/5): - One of the provided towels smelled like urine
- Dhy (9/5): -
- Milan (10/5): -
- David (10/5): -
- Theo (7/5): Budget B & B, Good location for Stormont. - Location for Stormont was excellent. However there isn't much around the B & B to go to for dinner etc. Belfast city centre isn't far though. The rooms smelt a bit funny and there was no curtain on the skylight or blind. Not enough pillows on the double bed.
- Mark (8/5): - Good healthy breakfast choices
- Karen (7/5): Good location, just needs a bit of maintenance - Rooms were roomy, good location with bus at end of driveway. Nice lounge area with fridge and microwave. Easy to find and well signposted. Sink in bath room was bad design with shelf in way, couldn't fill jug from sink cos sink too small. Jug didn't switch off when boiled. Was noisy from the room itself, floor creaked, toilet seat was loose so banged every time it was used, beds creaked, walls thin so heard noise from other guests. Door lock was loose with screws coming out.
- Peter (7/5): Average - It was ok and not small Distance from international airport and bad location generally-
- Johny (6/5): - Room space and privacy Bathroom too small
Tv is not smart tv
- Andrew (8/5): -
- Harrison (7/5): -
- Jonathan (9/5): Just what I expected 👍 - Clean, comfortable, handy for the bus into city, affordable too!
- Mag (7/5): Fine/basic for one night stay - Location to airport and not too far from town if you're driving. Room was clean. Fine for one night stay. Toilet moves when you sit on it (room 14) - needs to be screwed in properly. Pillows not the best. Remote was temperamental. Room that sleeps 3 only has one chair in it which is not ideal. Sink in bathroom is tiny but not much that can be done about that. Not sound proof from neighbouring rooms at all.
- Abhishek (8/5): -
- Julie (7/5): Clean, convenient, bring extra pillows and plates etc if you plan on a decent sleep and not sharing nastiness on the mic - Very clean I contacted the manager for extra pillows as there was only 1 each, he said they usually only provide 2 for single occupancy. I said I’m here with my 12 year old daughter as it clearly says on the booking. He said he’s be out later that night and he didn’t bother, haven’t had any communication even apologising for not coming. There was only 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel too. There was a microwave and fridge for the entire place, it looks like there’s a kitchen but that’s only for the cottage so that wasn’t very clear. There was no plates or bowls or cutlery nothing, anything going in the microwave had to use the microwave plate which is just nasty 🤢
- Mofenyi Emang (4/5): Stay was okay. - It was near the city centre and easily accessible by public transport. The staff was really kind and welcoming. It smells really nice as well. The dining area could use a little cleaning, the sheets and towels in the rooms were quite old as well. Breakfast wasn’t what we expected but that’s fine.
- Stephen (7/5): - Good location, and clean Would have liked more tea bags and milk in room for the length of time we were there.
- Mandela (7/5): -
- Peter (9/5): -
- Islam (10/5): - Everything was perfect.A very nice place with everything you need to spend a weekend.
- Zenia (9/5): - Self check-in and clean room The room didn't have a lock from inside. The washroom lock wasn't working as well:(
- Stuart Douglas (10/5): - The location was perfect for me and it was very clean and a very comfortable bed i will definitely be booking again
- Sneha (10/5): -
- Ashwin (9/5): -
- Eleanor (8/5): Short break in Belfast to visit friends - Good location close to the bus stop on the Old Holywood Road - very easy to get to the city centre from the property All good - no complaints
- fiveklein (9/5): - very comfortable none
- kamil (10/5): - Very friendly owners and all perfect
- William Beckett (10/5): - Nothing but good feed back on this place, stayed for a night.
Check in was super easy, parking was good and ideal for local buses shops ect.
Place was super clean, the host had kettles and tea/ coffe milk tv and wifi for the room.
Would stay again in a heartbeat or would recommend, ideal for airports or hospitals or just visiting belfast. Nothing
- Gianluca (7/5): -
- Grainne (10/5): Very efficient access info and clear directions - Clean and comfortable with TV and tea/coffee facilities
- Patrick (9/5): -
- CHING HAN (5/5): - Near the bus stop to town, toiletries supplied, shower press and hot water is enough, room size is sufficient. The bedsheet and towel have stains, weird smell in the bathroom, self check in and out without any staff there, the main door is somehow often unlocked when I get back that I don’t feel safe. I think it’s because many guests don’t know how to lock it.
- Catherine (9/5): Good space, close to city at a reasonable price, great communicative hosts - Location, spacious, value for money, free onsite parking It was cold inside and central heating couldn’t be adjusted, however we used heaters to warm the rooms instead which worked well
- Juliete (6/5): Pleasant stay but needs improvements - Location was good
Own bathroom
Clear check in instructions and location info The room was cold the bed cover was thin and the shower didn’t go hot enough
- Anushka (10/5): It was perfect for the price we paid. - It was exactly how it looked in the pictures. I stayed for five days and found it pretty comfortable and the location was perfect. We commuted using the local transportation service. Nothing to complain about.
- Jenifer (10/5): -
- Cameron (3/5): Would like a refund please - The bathroom had a smell and the kettle had black stuff floating and the bottom didnt like how there only was 2 pillows
- james (2/5): Won’t be coming back sorry - Room did look like advertised The main thing was I don’t feel the bed sheets were clean
& I didn’t want sleep under the cover - it wasn’t clean - bed sheets were not washed & old
The remote control didn’t work properly for the tv
The room wasn’t clean - there was bit of rubbish under one of the beds also - so it doesn’t get vacuumed properly either
- Mark (5/5): If you don’t mind noise late at night, it’s for you. If you’re after a good nights sleep, consider who you may be sharin - Clean and comfortable Despite notices asking patrons to keep the noise down, I was kept awake to 01:30 having to get up at 04:30 to catch a flight.
- KimCook (10/5): Will definitely stay again. - Room was clean and comfortable.
The breakfast was perfect.
Checking in was self sort and all the details sent through clearly.
Everyone else staying was respectful and quiet even though they all had to pass our door to come in.
Will definitely stay here on our next trip.
We walked into the city. Took about 50minutes but was a lovely walk. Finding the turning in, we drove past it twice and ended up somehow in the road behind following the satnav.
Driveway is off the main road. Look for the blue signs.
This isnt any fault of the property, just maybe helpful for future guests! :)
- Nadine (8/5): Great sized room - Great sized bedroom and parking. I liked the option for tea making facilities and the fragrance of the shower gel and shampoo. It felt cold in the room at night. Bathroom bit too small for me, especially the sink area!
- Liza (1/5): -
- Nadine (8/5): Clean, comfortable big room with great parking - I liked the size of the room and bathroom, the comfortable clean bed, the quality of the shower gel I would have liked a mini fridge in my room as i had to bring my own milk with me which i ended up having to put in the shared kitchen...the next day half my milk was gone despite wrapping it into a bag to attempt to show it was not to be consumed.
- Mike (6/5): Thanks - Ok price Mattress was very worn. Couldn’t get comfortable.
No bin in the room only a small one in the toilet.
Other guests very loud disturbed sleep for 2 nights. Doors slamming, loud talking.
No staff present at all. Never seen anyone. No daily room refreshment.
- Ashish (7/5): -
- Perform Engineering Services (6/5): - Okay
- Nelly (10/5): -
- Oguz (8/5): - Location, the room The towels need to be changed, so as the detergent used..
- Katie (6/5): - Bed was comfy
Quiet location
Good size room Cleanliness could have been better (just more attention to detail)
Loose door that rattled if you didn’t put something against it
Shower door didn’t shut properly
- Paula (10/5): -
- Rosa (7/5): Good accomodation to rest & sleep for short stay - Location is accessible and affordable cost. Noted squeeky sound when stepping on the floor .
- Paul (8/5): -
- tony (10/5): Perfect - Couldn’t fault it perfect
- Dan (9/5): Great location & staff - Great location for the airport and Belfast and they let me park longer which was a lifesaver!
- kim (10/5): - Lovely accommodation, great breakfast and shower in room very good. Very handy for Waterfront Hall and George Best airport.
Will definitely be back. N,/A
- Dean (6/5): -
- Gavin (7/5): - Love the place and have stayed b4 Nothing it was great!
- VISWANATHAN (8/5): - Situation and cleaniness
- Lewis (8/5): -
- Marie (9/5): Short -
- jacqueline (6/5): - I didn't have any breakfast. Location was quiet but when checking in after six o'clock no nearby shop open except walk whole way back to Tesco if lucky enough it still open. I found it very hard to find when travelling on bus from city centre in dark and as a result had to ring contact nos a few times and it was only on second time that when I asked what stop it was that I eventually found it. As mentioned above about trying to find it in dark and walk up to accommodation at back is very dark. The bus stop to get of at should be mentioned on the info details on booking site and also the bus nos from city centre for that route and stop. Also would be very helpful to have a copy of bus timetables for to and from city in rooms.
I found room clean only issues I would have was that t.v didn't work very well. Was very hard to get turned on was first thing and not great range of channels. I didn't use shower as the towels left where all stains although I believe they had been washed. Room was cold bedclothes very light and when I went to put on electric heater in room the plug was sparking so therefore couldn't use it.
Otherwise room was quiet.

- Faye louise (7/5): -
- Archie (7/5): -
- Dermot (5/5): Lovely property and great value. - Was please fly suprised with this property, room was lovely with a bed was super comfy. Guests directly above my room were very loud, Fire alarm went off every 15mins for about 2 hrs. Staff woke me and just glanced at it and then woke me at 12:30am and removed it completely, this slight inconvenience won’t stop me from staying again was wasn’t ideal.
- Olivia Ntombizodwa (8/5): It was an awesome experience would definitely come back again to Belfast and stay at Prestashortstay - The breakfast was alright, though I feel like it can be improved at least have one day where a cooked breakfast is served with sausages, bacon, fried egg and baked beans.
The manager was very hospitable he attended to our requests promptly. There was a person who was doing maintenance work, I don't know if he is a member of staff or was contracted to do work, he was very rude. One morning whilst we were having breakfast, he switched off the lights in the dining area. We knew breakfast was served from 8-10, it was a few minutes after 10am when he switched off the lights whilst we were seated in the dining room without saying anything. The least he could have done was to notify us that he needed to work and asked us to round up or leave but he didn't, he just switched off the lights and never said a word!!! That was very rude, you do not do that to guests.
- Farrell (6/5): Breakfast good self service very good - Breakfast very good self service ok, lots of food to choose from. Very satisfying. I thought i could get a downstairs room, like previous stay, i was disappointed i had knee operation and stairs were difficult to climb.
- Dean (7/5): -
- Rob (6/5): At the end of the day all I needed was a bed for the night, so it ticked that box. I would not go back in a hurry. - The location to city airport is great. Private secluded motel The room stank of wet dog, the whole room was tired and the bathroom was not great. It also smelt and needed TLC.
- Jon (9/5): -
- Katy (10/5): Convenient for George Best Airport and the Docks - Really good value nice room clean had everything I needed A jug to fill the kettle would be handy
- Piyush (3/5): Very disappointed - Nothing The home owner or manager was very rude. Heater was not working, wifi was not working, Main door always open so no safety at all. We spend 3 nights but no any towels given, no room cleaning. No air circulation or window in room. No kitchen access
- Elizabeth (9/5): Home from home. Perfect for us with small children. We will be back. -
- Jaxon (4/5): -
- Adrian (2/5): Never again - Location Noisy not very clean wont be staying there again
- JAWWAD (9/5): -
