• Elizabeth (8/5): A comfortable, very easy stay. Recommended for a short trip with good access to skiing and hiking. - The location is ideal for hiking or skiing, and easy to get the Winkelmatten bus. Meggie is a very friendly and helpful host and communication was very easy! The studio was clean and warm, with comfortable beds. The kitchen area was well equipped (although no microwave). Being able to glimpse the Matterhorn is a bonus! It would be ideal to be able to let in the daylight and view with more privacy. Given the cleaning fee (for one person), it would be great to have a slightly later check-out time.
• Pierre (8/5): Super convenient & calm studio - ideal for a couple looking to enjoy ski & Zermatt - Great location - <5 mins walk to ski lifts to Furi and onwards to Glacier Paradise or Gornergrat side. Apartment is super calm and functional, ideal for a couple. Host is super nice :)

• Nicholas (8/5): Very pleasant. - Clean comfy and well equipped. Zermatt prices but that’s inevitable. It’s a lengthy walk from the town centre up a hill. The table outside used for meals in the sun has extensive sticky resin oozing from its wood which was hard to get off your skin and clothes etc. and it rather got everywhere. The table needs treating or throwing away.
• Ligia (10/5): Absolutely fantastic stay thanks to a spacious studio in a great location near the gondola with a clear, gorgeous view o - This studio is spacious, fantastic, and in a prime location just a few minutes from the Matterhorn Glacier Gondola. But the host, Meggie, is what truly sets it apart. During an unexpected two-day power outage due to a storm in Zermatt, Meggie was a lifesaver. Despite the power being out, the studio stayed wonderfully warm. She provided a power bank, offered regular updates and support, and even brought us books and wine. Her exceptional care and attention made a challenging situation much easier. Meggie is the best host, and we can't wait to book again! The proximity to the gondola is a major bonus.
• Andrew (10/5): Came for skiing and loved it. - We got in late and the host had great communication with us and had everything ready. Location is perfect for skiing. Had great storage for skis and even has boot dryers.
• Oleg (10/5): Exceptional - If you are in Zermatt to spend whole days outside skiing / hiking this one is a good option. It's a small studio where you can comfortably sleep and that's located close (5 min walk) to the lift / gondola. You get magnificent views of Matterhorn right from your window. We would have appreciated having a microwave oven and shampoo. It's also relatively far from the city center / train station (20 min walk), but walking in this town is fun
• Chantelle (10/5): Your own personal viewpoint of the Matterhorn - 5 Stars 🌟 - This is the best self catering studio we have ever stayed at in Europe so far and we have stayed at many! It was exceptionally clean and provided everything you could possibly need for a week's stay. The host, Meggie, is awesome. Any queries either before or during our trip were answered very promptly. Meggie greeted us in person and was so friendly, helpful and gave recommendations for the best places to go in town. A complimentary bottle of wine went down a treat as we sat on the terrace with an amazing view of the Matterhorn and the gondola travelling by. It is truly a fantastic location, just up the hill from the main town, so lovely and peaceful and about a 3-5 minute walk to the matterhorn express. They offer free and secure storage for your skis/snowboards and your boots are dried overnight on heated rods. It is a short and scenic walk into town but there is also a free bus that stops right outside on the road if you want to go to Sonnega lift or into town if you don't fancy walking. We can't recommend this place enough, such good value for money and on our next trip to Zermatt we will 100% be booking again 🙂
