• Sheryl (9/5): Little gem with sea view - We loved the sea view and the balcony and the room all together. There was AC and a mosquito net on the window and even external blinds for the night and a towel rack outside. We liked the position as it was at the end of the Argassi town street so less busy (at night you could hear just the sea waves) and there was a very practical and private parking 50m before the property and everything (shops and restaurants) was reachable by foot in 5min. The communication and contact with the owner was super and he gave us many recommendations. We would definitely come back here if we come to Zante again! The bathroom could use a renovation, especially the shower but altogether was okay. Mind that the water coming from sink and shower is a little salty. Also you can hear the neighbors, especially when they get to the room but there is just like 4 rooms and nothing that è earplugs can’t fix. The AC and the entrance control panel make a lot of light so not ideal at night if you like to sleep in darkness

• Fabrizio (10/5): - Posizione eccezionale, svegliarsi ogni mattina praticamente sul mare non ha prezzo. Inoltre vicino a tutti i servizi, market, ristoranti e parcheggio della struttura. Presente anche il bar nella struttura con tutto il necessario per colazione e aperitivi. Il gestore della struttura Panagiotis (Panos per gli amico) è stato meraviglioso, simpaticissimo e sempre disponibile per qualsisi esigenza. Mai invadente. Persona Meravigliosa!

• Paola (9/5): - Posto tranquilllo per un'isola molto frequentata con vista incantevole e mare privato molto bello e pulito. Manca lavatrice e lavello per lavare stoviglie. Nessuna tisana o biscotto fornito per fare colazione in quanto colazione apre solo alle 9. Almeno una tisana e qualcosa per farsi caffè sarebbe stato gradito. Attenzione che in questa località acqua è salata e bisogna mettere nell'ebolitore acqua dolce.

Private beach with little shower and sun-beds was great too, central location, couldn’t wish for a better place to stay in Zakinthos!!
• Laura (10/5): Central Yet Peaceful – Free Parking and Right by the Sea - We chose Alas because we wanted to stay close to the restaurant area, and Argassi turned out to be an excellent choice – lively yet not overcrowded. Alas is ideally located: central, yet peaceful, and right by the sea. One big bonus was the free parking right next to the property – very convenient, especially on an island where parking can be tricky. The seaside terrace is a real gem – perfect for enjoying both sunrise and sunset, thanks to its northwest-facing position. The rooms are spacious, very clean, and well maintained. Our host, Nikos, was incredibly kind and helpful. He gave us lots of great tips about local tavernas and must-see spots on the island. We’re truly grateful for his hospitality. We wholeheartedly recommend this place!🩵 Everything was perfect. 🙏

• Edoardo (10/5): Immersed in the sea - Enchanting place, immersed in the sea. A few steps from the main street of Argassi, it is located in a bubble of quiet, lulled by the sound of the sea. The owner is very kind, the breakfasts are excellent. Unmissable place.

• D (10/5): Local gem in Argassi - Everything was perfect! Host owner Nikos could not have been more thoughtful and kind. Make sure to get a copy of the local Zakynthos travel book he created with his partner. Only regret is to not have been able to stay longer! Nothing- all was superb!

We also had a lovely view of Zakynthos town from the balcony. Both Nikos and Maria were fantastic hosts and gave us the best tips for restaurants and beaches.

• Răz (10/5): Our home away from home in Zakynthos - Nice room with modern furniture and comfortable bed, good soundproof windows, getting from the ground terrace directly into the sea, from our balcony with sea view we had a great outlook of the sunrise and sunset, free parking space, tranquil location but also in walking distance to restaurants and shops and the amazing friendliness and hospitality of Nikos who made us feel very welcome and really like staying at our home away from home. -

• John (10/5): Amazing accommodation, even better host. - There are so many aspects of our stay at Alas that exceeded our expectations, the view, the location, room size & comfort, the breakfasts, and most of all the host, Nikos. We stayed at Alas for 11 nights, from the moment we arrived Nikos made us feel so welcome and at home. Throughout the trip he was kind, interested in us, and dropped everything to help us when he could. He was so helpful with recommending where we should visit on the island, activities and hikes, what restaurants we should try, as well as answering all our (many) questions about history, geology, and the culture of the island. He also made us the most fantastic breakfasts every day made from local ingredients, which was the best way to start our day after a swim in the crystal clear sea water off the deck. Nothing.
• Pramod (10/5): We enjoyed the Ocean front, with the waves and swimming off the backyard! The town is a lot of fun. - Host is excellent. He made sure we had everything we wanted in a vacation. Went above and beyond to help unload and load our rental car of 3 pieces of large luggage. Carried it to the room. Always available for questions No elevator, but host brought the luggage. just one floor, easy to climb. Breakfast is ok. Better in town. No car park on premises, but a few minutes walk away in a locked area.

• William (10/5): Excellent - highly recommended. - Nikos is a great host with an excellent place to stay with picture perfect views. While there isn't a pool, the beachfront location is perfect and you are a few steps away from a swim in the picturesque sea. Hearing the waves all the time is amazing too. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious, with air conditioning and a fridge for cold drinks/etc. I would highly recommend shortlisting this place for your trip! The hotel doesn't have a pool - and if the weather is windy the beach can get a little rough. However, in calm weather this isn't an issue and the sea is right on your doorstep! Also, the hotel next door has an events space and during my week long stay, there was a wedding on both the Saturday and Sunday night. They played music until 11pm. I didn't mind, but it is something to keep in mind.

And Ive been in many places but the view of the top appartment, the comfort and the chill vibe of this place was insane. We will come back for sure. Owners are very discrete and helpfull. We love it so much! Very close to all Argassi restaurants and all. -

• Claudia (10/5): Paradise on earth! - We loved absolutely everything about our stay! The location is perfect, right above the sea, at a comfy distance from the center of Argassi, in such a way that you can enjoy the sound of the waves from your bed. The cleaning services are exactly how you'd expect. We also loved the terrace with the sunbeds, with a smooth entrance in the sea. Nikos is a very kind and helpful host, thank you for being so nice and we will definitely come back as a team of three next time, as we promised when we left in June :)
• Alessia (7/5): Good - The location is great, we had the small suite with sea view just right in front of the bed, the bed was maybe the most comfortable we ever slept. We had cleaning in our room every morning and the owner was always available for us. Breakfast is expensive in my opinion and there is no choice for it, if you don't like the dish they prepared you basically have to go somewherelse for breakfast, parking is not free, after all we paid for the staying we had to pay 50 cent parking for day, what's the point to earn 2.50 euro more on us?

• Adelina (10/5): Excellent - The view from the room was excellent. Basically we had the sea at our feet, it’s an amazing feeling to wake up and open the balcony door and just see the waves. I also like that Nikos was very nice with us and the cleaning lady also. Everything was super. The parking spot is not at the property, but in another place. So we had to walk a little bit. However, is not far from the property but given that I have some cardiac issues, it was a little bit difficult for me to go everytime for the car. It’s not an inconvenient, regardless of that.
• Maia (10/5): Great central location right on the beach with a kind host, highly recommend! - We loved our stay at Alas and on the island so much that we extended our vacation by three days. The location was central close to shops and restaurants, walking or driving distance. Good for travelling around the island with a car, there is a private parking from which it is easy to reach the hotel. The place is right on the sandy beach and you can hop in the sea as soon as you wake up. The outdoor shower is a great feature and the sun deck where you can relax is very pleasant with comfy chairs, beds, umbrellas and nice details. The room was very comfortable with an amazing view of the sea, Zakynthos town, mountains and sunset. Our host Nikos was very kind and flexible and gave us many good recommendations, prepared a great fresh breakfast and offered us coffee the morning of our departure. The cleaning staff was also very kind and nice. Would absolutely visit again!

• Martin (10/5): Maybe the best place to stay - Nikos is a really friendly and professional host. Everything was clean, we always got useful tips and help, for example with booking a kayak trip and rental car. Nice drinks can be ordered at the bar. We got the best vegan breakfast ever, even though the usual vegan stuff supplier was not available, so he made us vegan dishes himself, as well as freshly pressed orange juice and one of the best coffees i ever drank. The location is perfect, right at the sea with its own entrance to a shallow shore directly at the side of the terrace. Thank you for the great stay! I really dont know what to dislike. Our towels were not changed after 4 days, but i asked for a change and nikos immediately changed them himself, so no Problem at all. Oh, and maybe a chair inside the room would be nice some times (but there are two chairs on the small balcony that can be used anyway...)
• Bogdan (9/5): Peaceful location near the sea - - location: close to city center, but in a quiet location, - parking: private parking near the location (150 m), - room and bathroom: clean and spacious, with a great view, - terrace: very nice terrace overlooking the sea, with sunbeds and umbrellas; it also had an outside shower; great place to watch the sunrise and the sunset (see photos), - bar: a lot of options, - host: welcoming and very attentive. - the towels looked old and smelled funny, but they were really clean (I think the smell was due to the detergent)
