• Lulama (8/5): Absolutely a lovely stay - Close proximity to shops and i guess the security was good as the car was not in a closed yard. Self-check in facility was great. Waking up to the mountain view was breath taking and absolutely amazing Electric blanket was not very hot. Shower has holes and it leaked water by the side of the door, if unchecked can be dangerous as one can slip. A bathroom heater or room heater could make it more pleasant as the nights can get a bit chilly.
• Joey (10/5): I didn’t want to go back to Gauteng, the place was very quiet and so refreshing. - The house was very clean, with a beautiful Mountain View, a spacious room with balcony and a great location. Everything we needed was a walk to town. I wasn’t feeling well even before my trip, but I managed to travel around.

• Knoxy (6/5): - Centrally located and walking distance from everything which is convenient Check-in was not very smooth, as the host sent an email instead of a WhatsApp message, which would have been more convenient for travelers. The room is minimalistic but clean; however, the shower needs fixing as I was afraid I am going to slip and fall and the space could feel more homely. Guests should also be informed upfront that common areas, including the kitchen and fridge, are shared with others.

This will definitely be home away from home everytime I visit clarens 😊🤌❤️

Love the decor, very comfortable room - It is situated in a quieter street and the Mountain View from the verandah is stunning We did not realize the lounge/ tv room area was shared. It was not a problem as the other couple staying were quiet but this kind of setup is a bit of a gamble if the other occupants are noisy and inconsiderate. We will come back but only if we a group of 6 using the entire facility as we are private people
