Guest Reviews
- Nicola (10/5): -
- Andy (10/5): - Great facilities and location.
- Taikeisha (9/5): Lovely home, would love to return - We’re a family of 9 and recently returned home from our two week trip here! We really enjoyed our stay, such a welcoming space with plenty of room for us all. The outside area was the highlight of the stay we had so much space for sports and games. We realised there wasn’t a tumble dryer after searching around then eventually asking the host. This was a shame as it was written in the list of facilities and for a family of 9 including small children this was a challenge. Everything else was great.
- Caroline (9/5): Peaceful and comfortable - Beautiful location right next to the forest.
So very quiet and peaceful.
The house is nicely decorated and comfortable.
Main bathroom is large with a great shower. The sofa is comfortable, but it would be good to have more armchairs (there is one small one).
A tumble dryer would be useful in the winter for a longer stay.
- Yibo (10/5): Exceptional - Very cozy place. Easy to locate and very well equipped.
Host is very helpful too!
- Andy (9/5): Super Nethy Bridge - Terrific location. Good size property. Night storage heaters tricky to get temperature just right
- Cassi (9/5): It was great! - Lovely property and exactly as described. Staff were super helpful. The house had everything we needed, except shower gel!! The one thing we didn’t bring! But it was wonderful and we would definitely stay again and would recommend!! Nothing!
- Anthony (10/5): Exceptional -
- Peter (10/5): Had a lovely family weekend in peaceful surroundings . - Beautiful house , lovely open plan lounge and kitchen . Fantastic garden and bedrooms were very comfortable. Just what we were looking for .
- David (9/5): Brilliant spacious house in a quiet location close to the beautiful forest area. Fantastic. - Fabulous location up Dell Road at the back of the village just a 15 minute stroll from the village centre and shop either down the road or better still along the river side path.
Dell woods, part of the Abernathy forest are right at the property boundary with some fabulous walks in them.
The lounge are is fantastic as is the kitchen layout and with 4 bedrooms (2 en suite) plus a further communal bathroom there is plenty of space for large families.
The gar£en is large and great for relaxing in or perhaps running about with the little ones! Nothing really. We didn’t get the hang of the heating system but just switched off the heaters when it got too warm!
- Michael (10/5): Lovely setting with clean, modern interior and no shortcuts with extras! - Really nicely finished and decorated internally. Big drive (even though we only had two cars, there would be space for way more). Rooms very clean and decorated with Scottish feel but still modern. Nice that the kitchen was equipped with bits you normally forget on trips away, such as salt & pepper, condiments, dog poo bags. Greeted with a nice welcome pamper with snacks/drinks. Lovely environment with the garden at the edge of the forest and loads of circular walks to start from the front door. Loved it all
- Hilary (8/5): Lovely Christmas Break Away - The house was very nice and the owners had even decorated for Christmas which was a nice touch. The location was beautiful, ideal for a trip away from the city and not too far away from Aviemore. Would definitely return.
- Catriona (10/5): Highly recommended 😃 - Beautiful setting. House is lovely ,spacious and exceptionally clean. Welcome pack on arrival was a very nice touch. Childrens toys and board games were an added bonus. Will highly recommend to others and will definitely return in the future. No negatives
- Ruth (10/5): Highly recommended, would stay again - I loved that it was so remote - exactly what I wanted from this holiday. It’s on the edge of a woodland so the wildlife is amazing and I enjoyed watching the birds in the garden.
The house has been modernised to a good standard and the beds were super comfy.
