- Thiti (8/5): Very good dinner & breakfast. Good location. - Very good dinner & breakfast.
Good location.
- Benedikt (8/5): A good choice in a small and quiet village with amazing food - The vegetarian dinner was excellent, I can absolutely recommend it. The table was loaded with different dishes and they all tasted fantastic, some of the best food we've had on our trip! The room and bathroom were clean and had everything we needed. Slightly loud. This wasn't a problem for us, but if you're looking for peace and serenity, this might not be the best place.
- Helke (10/5): Exceptional - We are vegetarians, and the food was great (dinner, breakfast and lunch for the road). The room and the bathroom were renovated. The housekeeper was really friendly. The village Barshi is cozy. It is not necessarily a downside, but this is not a homestay. The owners don't live here and when you arrive, the place looks rather abandoned. Navigating in Georgian villages is always difficult, and we orientated us based on the tower. Gerghouse is located on the opposite side of the tower (so opposite of where Booking tells you were it is).
- Ksenia (10/5): Modern guesthouse with great food - GergHouse is the great place to start Etseri - Ushguli hike, very easy to reach from the main road leading to Mestia.
The room is clean, comfortable with new furniture. Facilities are shared, but very modern and clean as well.
Food was fantastic! -
