- Phil (10/5): - Excellent accommodation, very helpful host, good location It was all good
- peter (10/5): - Lovely room and location. Very friendly hosts. All good.
- penny (10/5): feels like walking into your best friends house! - excellent breakfast
friendly host
- Gina (10/5): A super place - Victoria was extremely welcoming as were her children . The breakfast was delicious . Very peaceful , and a really comfortable bed . We both had a great couple of nights sleep . Only a few small things I would change would be . A small hand towel in the bathroom would be good . Heating to come on a little earlier in the morning and stay on a little later in the evening . Or maybe a little heater to provide a little heat if not wanting to heat the rest of the property . If staying more than a couple of days I would like more coat hangers and a drawer or two to put clothes away .
- Rachel (10/5): Comfortable room and welcoming host in pretty Great Haywood - Second time staying here. Lovely room and bathroom and Victoria is a very welcoming host. Breakfast was excellent too. Anyone booking should be aware that this is listed as Stafford on Booking.com but is 7 miles away in Great Haywood. Not convenient for Stafford, but a much nicer location and perfect for Cannock Chase, Shugborough, and walking. Nothing
- Lynne (9/5): Highly recommended - Comfort, friendliness of owner, exceptional breakfast and independence to come and go. I like a little bit more space to get out of the bed easily on either side. Had to wait until breakfast for my first coffee of the day.
- James (10/5): -
- Beverley (8/5): Pleasant - Beautifully furnished. Lovely host No tea making facility
Although our lovely host bought us tea and cake when we arrived
- Alan (9/5): -
- Paul Thomas (10/5): Lovely stay and lovely host. - The accomodation was roomy and as described.
The bed was very comfortable and I had two great nights sleep.
Parking was directly outside.
The Breakfast was excellent and Victoria was extremely engaging and charming. Would have appreciated a single occupancy discount, but everything else was great and made up for it.
- Jane (10/5): Little Gem - Very accommodating, lovely room and facilities. Breakfast was superb and served in bed, if you want, which i did.... orange juice, cup of tea or coffee, scrambled eggs on toast, yogurt blueberries and granola, croissant butter and marmalade, yummy!
Thank you Victoria Nothing
- ALLAN (10/5): - Victoria and Emerald were wonderful hosts,so warm and friendly

- Carole (10/5): Victoria was kind advised of things in the area to do . Her breakfast was catered to our needs . Very pleasant and helpf - Host was very accommodating of our wishes breakfast was served for the different times we needed.bed was comfortable stairs are steep .
Very quiet . No complaints
- Kate (9/5): Thank you for being so accommodating! - Lovely stay, very accommodating. Perfect location for what I needed. Very quiet and peaceful.
- Rivett (10/5): - Lovely home with a perfect en suite for us. Location was great as we were guests at a wedding in the next village. Victoria was friendly, helpful and we had a delicious home cooked breakfast. Room was clean, comfortable and well equipped. A really pleasant stay. Nothing to say, all perfect
- Rachel (10/5): One lovely guest room in a pretty house in Little Haywood village - This is a lovely room at the top of a private house, with a fabulous bathroom and views across to Cannock Chase over the pretty back garden. But what made it was Victoria, who was a fantastic host. This felt like staying with a friend, which is about as good as it gets. Thank you! I know the area and chose this because Little Haywood is convenient for the Cannock Chase music festival. But Booking.com gives the address as Stafford which could be confusing if you don't spot that it's five miles away.
- Martin (10/5): Unexpected luxury - Halday is a lovely old house that's been modernised very tastefully, retaining lots of character. Everything was spotless and the attic room was perfectly set up for my stay. The host Victoria was the icing on the cake, she's incredibly helpful and so easy to chat with.
- Grahame (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely host. Almost felt like we were coming home. Having to leave
- Christopher (10/5): Delightful - The owner and her daughter looked after us wonderfully, they made us a pot of tea on arrival and some massive ginger biscuits; which were most welcome as we had travelled a long way.
The breakfast was really lovely; Staffordshire oat cakes, croissants and mini pain au chocolate.
Well appointed room in a lovely quiet village which we used as a base to explore locally. Nothing, it was perfect for both of us.
- Debbie (9/5): Great though continental breakfast needs a bit more thought - Very quite location Breakfast was very poor. Although advertised as continental it was just bread bread and more bread. Just gluten.
No fruit nor yogurt. Both are easy and cheap to offer.
- Lucy (10/5): A delightful stay near stafford. - A charming and comfortable home, very relaxed, interesting and eclectic inside, and the facilities were excellent.
Victoria was very thoughtful and helpful, communicated very efficiently prior to our arrival, and made a splendid and very tasty breakfast for us. An absolutely first rate experience and perfect for our trip. We travelled by vintage motorcycle and it was safe and secure. Many thanks Victoria. There was absolutely nothing lacking.
- Micheal (10/5): Exceptional -
- Phil (10/5): Exceptional - Nice room, friendly host, good breakfast
- Andy (10/5): Exceptional - Victoria gave us a warm welcome to her home which is very comfortable and we appreciated her stylish touches to the decore in her house. The roof space we stayed in was very nice and the bathroom and shower were excellent. Comfortable bed on the harder side which is better for us and a nice simple fresh continental breakfast in the morning. Very pleasant stay and a great host. We would recommend Nothing really
- Paul (10/5): Really nice place, would recomend. - The host, thank you for making our stay so nice, and being so helpful. Could do with a chair or two in the bedroom, but there's not a huge amount of space :)
- Tahereh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chris (10/5): Lovely stay in Victoria’s home, thank you. - Easy to find, great location, warm welcome, great room & bathroom, and tasty breakfast - ideal base for a walk to Shugborough NT, and easy bus connections with Stafford and Rugeley. Nothing - it was spot on - thank you.

- Richard (9/5): Superb - Very nice accommodation, nicely furnished with a very attentive host. The continental breakfast was excellent which included Staffordshire ostcakes. You need to be aware of low and sloping ceilings but they were not a problem for us.
- Lyndsey (10/5): Exceeded expectations and hope I get to return. - Fascinating, peaceful, spotless, warm, friendly, safe, full of character place to stay. Extremely generous and accommodating host. Beautiful garden, very convenient parking, spacious and elegant en-suite, crisp white bedding and towels, very comfortable bed.

- Michael (10/5): Victoria is a really good host. She is very entertaining and interested in making her guest feel comfortable. - I very much enjoyed Victorias hospitality and the high quality of the Rroom, made available to me. There was nothing that didn’t please me
- Mike (10/5): Our stay was ideal & enjoyable. - Very well decorated- charming & tasteful. Our host was extremely pleasant, considerate, & enjoyable. Nothing- everything was most suitable.
- Adrian (3/5): Lovely comfortable stay although the late check in and breakfast options made for it to be disappointing. - The property was fantastic in a great area. The host was absolutely lovely although the check in was over an hour later than advertised. The breakfast was also very limited. The property itself was fantastic as was the host, just a little disappointing overall.
- Roger (10/5): Thank you Victoria. We'd love to come back. - Very comfortable, lovely host and breakfast great, original and so much more than a continental :-) Nothing
- Brian (9/5): Victoria was very friendly, helpful and made us feel welcome. -
- Hadwick (1/5): It was a very unenjoyable experience . - breakfast was appalling , no english breakfast served. there was no choice of breakfast we were given the food which was dry and taste less , she said it was a continental breakfast we beg to differ.
Wooden Bed frame was king size, but mattress was Queen size , one side was against wall and slopping roof and other side had to lift legs up over frame but stairs were in the way !
house was cold !
- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional - Nice, perfect stay. Very friendly host. Spacious room and bathroom. The weather changed to rain and ❄️.
- Melanie (9/5): Superb -
- Gareth (10/5): Friendly hosts and a relaxed and comfortable stay. - The room was superb, as was the host. I felt at home instantly. They recommended a good place for dinner, which again was a superb suggestion.
The room was super comfortable, finished to a high standard. All in all, I cannot complain at all. Next time I'm in the Stafford area for work I will definitely Zilch. No problems at all.

- Sharon (10/5): A standout stay - I was warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. The property and my room were beautifully presented and comfortable. To complete my perfect stay the breakfast was amazing - plentiful, well thought out and a real treat.
- Josie (9/5): A home from home and would love to stay there again - The bed was comfy, the bathroom spacious, but most of all Victoria was a very personable and accommodating host and made me a glorious breakfast and I would recommend her and her bed and breakfast very highly A variety of pillow types would have topped off the experience as I prefer firmer ones
- Madeleine (10/5): Easy going, clean and comfortable - The host was super friendly. She offered me tea and some delicious biscuits when I arrived. And cooked a fabulous breakfast. Top marks. Nothing
- Robert (8/5): It was perfect for our needs - The landlady was very attentive to her guests needs The mattress was not very comfy
- R (5/5): Just ok and don’t think I’d return from this experience - The pub/restaurant was lovely and the staff were friendly. The bed was of poor quality and a single bed quilt that just about got over the edge of the mattress on a single bed didn’t bode well for proper sleep.
- Ian (9/5): Superb - Great breakfast - spotless room - comfy bed. Coombed ceilings in room pretty awkward for tall guests
- Stephen (9/5): Value for money - Excellent accommodation, Victoria very helpful, lovely lady, excellent service
- Andy (9/5): Perfect overnight stop. - Very warm welcome. Delicious breakfast. Beautiful house. Nothing
- Sandra (10/5): This was one of the best B&B's we have ever stayed in, particularly because the host was so friendly and helpful - The property was quaint and perfect for our stay It was very stylish, tastefully decorated and exceptionally clean and tidy.

The en-suite bedroom is up on the third floor, accessed by stairs. Parking was on the street outside. Everything was exceptionally clean and I had a fantastic night’s sleep. Victoria made breakfast, which was very nice and I would definitely stay here again. Nothing

- Kane (10/5): Perfect location for Cannock Forrest. The B&B host Victoria was helpful in every aspect, such a kind hearted lady en - it was an idyllic location for where we needed to be for our concert in Cannock Forrest. It was also in very close quarters of a pub at the end of the road filled with some friendly locals. We were staying on the top floor. The room offered some amazing views across Cannock Forrest which stretched across the hills from the view of the windows. We had such a good time, we didn’t notice anything out of place or anything worthy of mentioning.

- Emma (9/5): Didn't want to leave! - The warmest welcome upon arrival and throughout our stay. Beautiful home. Will definitely stay again. Nowhere to hang coats and no plug sockets near mirrors, made getting ready a little awkward but only a little, because we were invited to use the entire house if needed.
