• Carine (9/5): - Très bien décoré, propre et bien assez de place pour 3. La ville n'est pas accessible à pied.
• Paula (10/5): Ideal for my stay. I loved it. - Perfect. All you could ever wish for. Clean, beautifully presented. 30 min walk to Stornoway. Peaceful. This is a minor point. The floor was really cold so perhaps a rug on it may have helped.
• Deal (9/5): Cosy and welcoming accommodation for a couple - The accommodation was small but perfectly formed, well equipped and cosy. Very tastefully decorated and clean. Our hosts were very helpful in allowing us a later check out to suit our morning plans which was very much appreciated. A place to store our clothes and bags would have been useful but other than that it was an ideal place for our short stay in Stornoway.

• Marina (8/5): Convenient and comfortable. - Good location. Clean and comfortable. Could have been warmer.
• Barbara Mahnu (8/5): - I liked having a small accommodation to myself. A well-stocked kitchenette was particularly nice. This place is also within easy reach of Stornoway. Was very glad to be able to book this when a ferry was canceled, leaving many tourists to scramble for a place to stay for a few extra days. The accommodation is RIGHT NEXT to a busy road. Must make sure drapes are closed for privacy, plus the cars whizzing by and road sound were not pleasant.

• James (10/5): Best Accommodation - Superb Accommodation. This Chalet has everything you could need.. Excellent if you are self catering, a couple of minutes drive into Stornoway. Great hosts, very friendly and helpful.

• Mark (10/5): - Chata is a great place to stay. Fully self contained with all facilities. Comfortable, cozy and immaculately clean. Nothing to write here, we liked it 100%!
• McIver (10/5): Excellent - Brilliant base for our 3 day stay in Stornoway and the surrounding areas. The chalet is in the very pretty front garden area of the host's bungalow just a short drive from the town of Stornoway. One of the owners Eva showed us were the keys were and advised us on the simple controls to turn on the hot water. After that we were left in peace for the three days to enjoy our holiday. Excellent location, Beautiful chalet and surprisingly quiet. Would definitely recommend this accommodation for a couple just wanting a lovely base for a three day stay. Nothing. We both thought the property was excellent and would use it again if we need to return to the Isle of Lewis. Well done Marcin and Eva, lovely clean and modern chalet

I can’t recommend it highly enou - A clean modern apartment with everything required for your stay. Marcin was an exceptionally friendly host. Parking right next to the apartment. In a semi rural environment but close enough to Stornoway to opt in for a takeaway. Very comfortable bed. Nothing

• Catherine (8/5): - Chata was small but absolutely perfect with everything we needed. The hosts were on holiday during our stay but were quick to respond and very friendly. The only thing that let down a perfect score for us was the unclean floor, the bottoms of our socks got dirty very quickly indoors

• Sharon (8/5): Comfortable cabin - The cabin was very well equipped with kitchen gear, and it was cosy and warm. It was in good condition and comfortable for a short stay. It’s very close to a busy-ish (for Lewis) road, so there was quite a lot of car noise - luckily it abated during the night. No place for clothes storage (wardrobe or drawers) which made the room feel a little cramped. We didn’t meet the owners who lived in the house - I found that a little odd given how close they are, but others presumably appreciate the privacy.
• Christine (10/5): Superb location, accomodation much better than advertised and great helpful hosts - Easy email communication with the host, who met us with the keys as he saw us arrive. He showed us around the accomodation, gave us loads of local tips and restaurant recommendations, and told us to phone/email him if any issues Owners lived on site. Good free on site carparking. Very new modern fittings furnishings and appliances, all matching and high quality. Amazing room heater and shower. Fully fitted kitchen, some condiments and full set of cutlery, kitchen knives and crockery. Fridge with milk and butter provided, and coffee and tea bags Superb information book, map TV, eating and sitting area, and bed very comfortable. Excellent free wifi and good smart TV Needs a sharp dedicated bread knife to cut loaf or rolls. Loads of good quality kitchen prep knives, even a cleaver, but no bread knife. Space either side of bed a bit tight, but unavoidable as such a comfortable big double bed - there is nothing they can do about this, they have made the best of the space the unit provides, and this small point feels unfair as it is not constructive criticism, as any fix would be to the detriment of all the other super features.

• D (5/5): Clean and tidy but dreadful location. - Clean and tidy Hosts spotted us driving in and walked away. A friendly hello would have been nice. Cabin very poorly situated. Next to a very busy main road, no view and nowhere to sit outside. No privacy from neighbours. No toiletries in shower. Wonky toilet seat.

• Andrew (10/5): A fantastic place to stay! - Marcin was a great host, and very accommodating. The property was immaculately clean and well equipped. A very comfortable space, with a ridiculously comfy bed! Located a 5 minute drive from the ferry terminal this is ideal for a visit to Lewis. Would not hesitate to stay here again! Absolutely no faults whatsoever! Marcin was great and very flexible re arrival/departure times which was much appreciated. There’s nothing I can suggest to improve Chata.

• Karen (8/5): Very comfortable stay. - No breakfast as this was self -catering. The property was lovely but there could have been a door hook on the bathroom door to hang bathrobes on and maybe an oven would have been helpful.
• Robert (9/5): Very fine option for a short or long break, and excellent value at the price we paid; recommended! - Very thoughtful range of items available for use in the property (eg coffee, tea, sugar, milk, biscuits), well equiped, and very comfortable mattress. Not too far from town centre. Lack of clothes hangers and somewhere to hang clothes.

Really lovely place and so clean, excellent location with it being close to town. I recommend anyone that needs accomadation to book here it’s so nice 😃 thank you so much again. If we had a key code for the place that way the owners wouldn’t have needed to have been disturbed so late.

• Mohammed (8/5): I am optimistic Chata will score high reviews in short time - Host was excellent and was waiting for us even though we had arrived late due to maritime requirement for search and rescue. Host was in contact with us all the time and assured us not to worry arriving out of check in hours Wifi signal was weak, however host assured will rectify ASAP
