Guest Reviews
- Coard (9/5): Good - Curtains over window on twin room needed to block out all night lights located in garden.
- Jackie (10/5): - It was very well placed. The property had everything needed and was very clean and comfortable. Really enjoyed our stay, and hopefully, we shall return sometime in the future.
- Jay (9/5): Loved it - This Brixham estate is at the top of the hill with a view right across Torbay, nicely laid out with plenty of lawn, shrubs and trees, and plenty of free parking for residents. There's a lovely walk down into town and a convenient #17 bus to take you back up to a stop just round the corner if you don't feel up to the climb back (last one from town is 17:30 though). The house itself is all we could have wished for: very well equipped, comfortable, light and airy with a small glass-walled area outside with a table and 4 chairs (unfortunately open to view but very few people pass along the road). We felt relaxed there the moment we arrived. The managing team are on the ball, welcoming and ready to sort anything out if needed.
- Jane (10/5): It was a wonderful few days with family at a very good location . - It was perfect clean warm and welcoming. Nothing
- Alexandra (8/5): Lovely base at the top of Brixham - would definitely recommend and return - The house was bright and airy, the photos on site are up to date. Nicely decorated with lovely coastal views especially upstairs. The kitchen especially was well equipped. Towels and bedding all good quality. We took our Jack Russell and although there is no enclosed garden the grassy area at the door was fine for letting her out - a security light came on at night too. Bring your dogs bed as they are not allowed on the furniture which is fair enough.
The area was nice and quiet, it’s a steep 15 min walk down into the town so unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues. Lots of nice pubs to visit and very dog friendly. We got a taxi back up the hill for about £6 as we had messages and I would have struggled with the hill. There are no nearby shops so you do need to get what you need in the town and bring it back. Small negative is the drainage in the en-suite- the shower tray gathers water and the toilet flush doesn’t really get rid of waste paper with one flush. We did not use the bathroom for showering as there is no privacy blind on the window.

- Andrea (9/5): An excellent base for a stay in Brixham. - The house was very clean, beautifully presented and was an excellent base for our stay in Brixham. Our contact with the host company was rapidly answered and a minor problem speedily dealt with. Excellent! nothing
