• Hester (8/5): Eenvoudig, maar goed en sloot precies aan bij hetgeen ik zocht. - Ik verbleef hier een aantal nachten voor mijn 100 mijl run. Eenvoudig, maar heel goed. Dichtbij het water en bij veel winkeltjes en restaurants.

• Yvonne (8/5): - The bathroom was clean and the shower was large. The room was fine, the bed was comfortable and had a shelf, socket and light. There's also a washing machine and oven, which a lot of hostels don't have, so I was happy about that. He also gave me a towel which was very nice. The place is modern with new fixtures and furniture and it's in a nice quiet area by the sea. I was very happy with the place and the price You can't open the windows in the dorm, and when I arrived, there was no one to let me in. I think he forgot I was coming. And it was a bit chaotic when he arrived, he had to leave again to get bedding and a towel and forgot to give me a key to the room. It could have been smoother

• Jeroen (7/5): Hostel met schitterend uitzicht - Hostelum is een hostel zoals het bedoeld is: goede bedden in ruime kamers waar je je kunt terugtrekken. Het uitzicht vanaf het prettige terras op zee en oude dorpskern van Umag is schitterend. Hostelum heeft een goede keuken. Maar als een complete familie gasten daar urenlang een maaltijd staat te bereiden en daarna opeet, is zo'n keuken echt een nadeel. De volgende ochtend hadden ze min of meer afgewassen, maar alles was vettig en de vloer glad.
• Arvin (10/5): Great Budget Hostel - In the central part of Umag. Was a great help as the finish line of my 170 km race was in the middle of the town. Very convenient. Facilities were modern. The staff was very helpful, efficient, and friendly.
