Guest Reviews
- Thomas (10/5): - Comfy house, very clean and nicely appointed.
- Jayne (8/5): Very lovely, comfortable and enjoyable - The house was beautifully appointed, tastefully decorated and comfortable, with a lovely little garden. The kitchen was very well appointed with crockery, cutlery, pans, cooking utensils etc. Wi-Fi was available as was a TV etc. The kitchen mixer tap was very loose and was frustrating at times to use. In the host's defence they did point this out the day before our arrival and we did say that we would deal with it as it was as we were only staying two nights. However, what did come as a surprise was the water pressure in the bathroom. When the toilet was flushed and I went to wash my hands there was only a tiny trickle of water coming from the bathroom taps. Only once the cistern had refilled was the water pressure in the bathroom taps or shower restored. The host may like to investigate these water pressure issues.
- Isabella (10/5): For us very comfortable and convenient walking about Midhurst and local to surrounding areas - Like home from home
- dominic (10/5): - Beautiful house in the middle.of Midhurst but quiet and relaxing, warm and cosy and extremely comfortable with everything thought of. Many thanks for a wonderful stay. nothing
- frances (9/5): - The house was warm, clean and comfortable. We all slept well in the beds and it was a calm oasis after a busy day at a family function.
- Ria (8/5): - The house was very clean, and the bathroom was lovely and modern. It was very close to the venue we needed. We would stay again. The lounge lights turned off after a few minutes of being on, each time. There is a hole in the kitchen wall and the thermostat in the lounge backplate was coming off the wall. Very small things that didn't impact our stay, but would have been nice if the attention to details were fixed.
- Siobhan (9/5): - A lovely, exceptionally clean and spacious cottage.

- Sue (6/5): Pleasant little house in good condition, clean and tidy. In a good central location - Location was good. The TV would not connect to the WI FI. Could not watch any programs as it operated through apps only.
No off street parking but wasn't a problem as managed to find street parking near by 9 times out of 10.
- Andre (9/5): A lovely stay - We had an absolutely lovely stay. The house is very nicely refurbished, with the bathroom in particular being gorgeous, and it was an extremely homely environment. The beds and pillows are super comfy and we had a lovely night's sleep. The garden is also absolutely beautiful and the house is kitted with all the equipment you need. If I was to be very picky, we stayed during an absolutely gorgeous late-summer evening, and it would have been lovely to have had the option to barbecue in the garden.

- Guest (8/5): We used MArden for short stay as we were guests at Goodward need for speed festival - Location was very central to midhurst, which is a lovely little town. property is on a busy road but quite at night we managed to park outside the property. Staircase, although it had a glass side you could hold onto, it really needed a handrail on the wall side. Also tv could not access

- Morten (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (9/5): Clean, smart and worked for us - TV didn’t work and was set to Polish, which took some working out. Only for it not to work anyway.
- Luke (10/5): Exceptional -

- Jessica (9/5): Superb - The property was clean, great location, it has lots of space and is pet friendly. The kitchen was particularly well equipped with all cooking appliances and washing machine and dishwasher. Having tea, coffee and sugar as well as lots of cleaning products was a plus. The garden is well maintained and the table and chairs meant we could sit out and eat and drink in the sunshine. The bed was also very comfortable, with good quality towels provided. The surrounding area is beautiful, we visited the castle ruins, and bought lots from the farm shop including mead wine (delicious). The stairs took some navigating (glass wall rather than banister) and the TV kept on disconnecting from the router meaning we had to re-connect several times. These were annoying more than anything and didn't impact our stay too much.
- Tessa (8/5): Perfect for our trip. - The house is recently decorated, well furnished with most things we needed. Comfortable bed and good duvet.
It also had a lovely small sunny garden. It is very convenient for walking everywhere in the town and for driving out to the South Downs.
- Maria (7/5): Good but missing a lot of things! - The house was lovely and clean and had a nice dog friendly garden. Easy to walk into the town with restaurants and takeaways close by! There's no microwave in the kitchen nor a freezer or even an ice box for ice for drinks. Only one bedside lamp in each double bedroom and you can't change the side it's on. Tiny mirror on bedroom wall by door, no use for doing makeup or hair. No waste bins anywhere in the house apart from the kitchen. No net curtains or blinds on the front windows which is not ideal as you are only a few feet from the main road with people looking in. Duck feather pillows on the beds which was a major problem for my husband who is allergic to feathers and my daughter who is a vegan.
- Emma (10/5): Warm and cozy stay - Everything was so clean and new. The beds were extremely comfortable and the shower was big and luxurious. Such a cozy place to stay for a couple days. Love having use of the log burner made it even more special and warm
- Ben (7/5): Great value, comfortable and convenient - Amazing place, comfortable and had got everything you need! Literally the only thing I can say is the fridge froze everything over night!
- Doug (9/5): Superb - Excellent hosts and location. Will definitely book again.
- Catherine (7/5): Good - location was good for me I could not find the kettle or any teaspoons despite a hunt
