• Francina (9/5): Clean and Comfortable. - The Cottage had a great set up with a spacious loft bedroom and open plan kitchen/dining/lounge area below. It was peaceful and private. We discovered on arrival that the stairs going up to the loft had a narrow tread, (something to consider if you need to get up to use the bathroom during the night), and the steep pitch of the roof means one may bump one's head on the lower sides if one is taller in height, or not mindful. The pull-out sofa in the lounge provided the solution - so one of us had that while the other enjoyed the big bed upstairs!

• Rachel (6/5): Good for staying with a small pet. - It was clean and had everything we needed for the night. They are pet friendly and even supplied some pet bowls. Not the easiest place to get to, you hadn’t got anywhere to get outside and sit if the weather had been good because you were right next to the owner’s house.
• Krystine (8/5): Quiet location, clean n tidy and well presented. Comfy bed, owner David was great at keeping me updated on conditions in - Rustic beauty tucked away in quiet location. Owner was great letting me know in advance any road issues. Clean and tidy and had all facilities required for our stay.

• Warren (10/5): A short but very nice stay , - A very well stocked fridge and cupboard , lovely little kitchen , nice bathroom ,large upstairs bedroom and excellent heating also my small dog was allowed , an excellent setup for a longer stay . The location and proximity to the motorway made it easy to get to destinations quite fast . the stairs up to the bedroom could be a problem for a someone with knee or hip problems .

• Marlee (8/5): Great Stay - David was very welcoming, he came to greet us as we got there then left us to our privacy. There were lots of cereals, bread sugar etc. everything you could need. Lovely shampoo, Room spray etc. Great brands. Decor nice. Very spacious room also had lots of storage space (built in drawers/wardrobe with hangers) but we didnt need to use as only stayed 1 night. The shower pressure was very good! Overall we had a great stay highly reccommend. We will definitely come back when we want to get away from the city of Auckland 😊 Only dislike was the geese abit loud in the morning but not big issue for us

• Amanda (9/5): Great location, David was generous with food and drinks stored at the cottage which lovely. - Peaceful and quiet, David left us to our privacy which was nice. Spacious cottage with nice new facilities. Great to have the air conditioning as well. The geese probably, raucus creatures at times, but fine since we have noisy sheep on our property. Other than that nothing to complain about.

• Lee (10/5): A Hidden Oasis - Reserving this place felt like discovering a hidden oasis, where instead of blooms, we found a fridge brimming with treats to spark a breakfast uprising incl. milk, bread, yogurt & juices. The space was impeccably clean, and our host was akin to a generous ninja, secretly provisioning the pantry with breakfast delights. Overall, it was an incredible value.
