Besser geht’s nimmer.
- Sara (10/5): Exceptional comfort in a relaxing stylish home - Brendan the host was very welcoming and the room was beautiful with amazing views out to the sea. I felt very comfortable and slept exceptionally well. If you want tranquil, comfort and modern style then those is the place. That I couldn't stay a few more days
- William (10/5): -

- Denise (10/5): Beautiful property, warm hosts & stunning views - The property was beautiful and our room with its en-suite was exactly what we hoped for. Our host was incredibly warm & welcoming. The views were absolutely breathtaking. Unfortunately the WiFi was out that night but that was at no fault of the owners.
- Brendan (9/5): - Beautiful room and a beautiful & quiet location, with a genuine sea view from the bedroom. Our host was very friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast is absolutely recommended.

- Guest (9/5): - The room was clean, comfortable and spacious; the host was super helpful and kind and she gaves us loads of good suggestions for places to eat and things to do around the area. The breakfast, at additional cost, is worth it if you have an activity planned for the day with little time to procure lunch - it will keep you full until dinner time! Nothing really. The room can get very bright in the morning, so if you plan to sleep in, you may want to bring an eye mask.
- Edwin (9/5): A very relaxing, idyllic location with very friendly owners - The location is excellent and the owners are very friendly. The bed is very comfortable. The quantity and range of tea & coffee in the room were limited. It would have been good to have had a mirror and a small table in the room.
- Orhan (9/5): - The hosts were really friendly and helpful. The view from the terrace with the hills and the sea before you is breathtaking. The interior was nice decorated and the breakfast, a bit expensive, but really delicious and beautifully prepared.
- John (10/5): Brilliant-just sorry we couldn’t stay longer! - Exceptional property with stunning views. Very comfortable with seating area jut outside the room-perfect for relaxing with a cup of tea after a lovely walk along the Greenway. Breakfasts were amazing & the delicious warm gluten free scones were very much appreciated-thank you! Excellent advice about things to do. A lovely family & amazing hosts. Nothing not to like-a beautiful property in a great location that we would highly recommend.
- Heather (10/5): Peaceful, comfortable with everything you need - Stunning location, comfortable bed and stylish room. Nothing
- Anonymous (10/5): Would stay there again, great place - Very quite peaceful
- Vivian (10/5): what a beautiful experience for our whole family. Will definitely come back again !!! - We booked 2 rooms for our stay, all of us love our stay at Cedarblue. It’s beyond our expectations. We were warmly greeted by the host when we arrived. The house is beautiful situated in the hill with a breathtaking view of the ocean. The host family is friendly and helpful. The decoration and amenities of the rooms are gorgeous and elegant. The pillows and mattress are nice and comfortable. Both rooms offer wonderful view of ocean and garden.
The breakfast they offered are freshly prepared and dedicatedly served, what a wonderful meal. Absolutely nothing.
- Donagh (9/5): Superb - The host and her family were so welcoming. The room was beautiful and cozy. The breakfast was amazing. Excellent value. Beautiful view. Would highly recommend.
- David (10/5): Great - Excellent room and host! Lovely location - clean. A sign confirming location would be good!
- Mira (9/5): Superb -
- Patrick (9/5): Superb - Breakfast should have been included in the booking price.
- Victoria (10/5): Exceptional -
- Juacat (10/5): Landscape, room and breakfast... all perfect! - We loved this stay!! (Too bad it was just one night...) The location is beautiful; the room is ample, beautifully decorated, with a very comfortable bed and pillows. The bathroom is small but all new and comfortable. Each room has a door leading to the garden with a small patio area with seats, perfect for watching the beautiful seascape. I strongly recommend getting the optional breakfast, and staying longer than just one night! It was somewhat difficult to find the house, especially when we came back from dinner at night. Pin the location!
- Victoria (10/5): Absolutely lovely place to stay, stunning view and lovely walks from the property - Location, cleanliness attention to detail, friendless and local knowledge Nothing
- Jacqueline (10/5): Beyond excellent. Would not hesitate to recommend - Very welcoming owner. Couldn’t do enough for us. Extremely helpful. Excellent room with fresh flowers. A beyond excellent breakfast. Nothing
- Gtaba (10/5): Perfect place to experience the real Ireland - The natural surroundings, peace, and silence truly capture the essence of Ireland. The kindness of the owners, the thoughtful decor, and the immaculate cleanliness made the stay exceptional Nothing to add
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional - The breakfast each morning was amazing! Hosts Carole & Brendan were lovely, welcoming and so accommodating. The room was spotless and bed was very comfortable. Beautiful view from the terrace. Really enjoyed my stay!
- Linda (10/5): Beautiful location. Lovely room. Amazing breakfast. Perfect hosts. - The optional breakfast was superb, and great value at 15 Euros. We were doing a 10-day road trip and this breakfast was by far the best of our holiday.
The location was breathtaking with a patio and extensive views over mountains on one side and the sea on the other.
Brenda and Carole were both extremely friendly and helpful. No negatives at all, but just a couple of observations:
1. They only took cash for the breakfast, which we didn't have, but
Carole very kindly took us to the next ATM on our route so we didn't have to go out of our way.
2. There is no "Cedar Blue" sign on the gate. The Satnav did take us to the exact location but we felt a bit nervous driving down somebody's drive not being sure it was the right place.
- Claire (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful location on the Green way, spotless accommodation, bed very comfy, delicious food. Great welcome and plenty of information on where to eat or go for entertainment. Very nice people. Nothing to report
- Dorothy (10/5): Cedarblue bliss - The view, Nothing
- Amanda (10/5): Simply 10/10 - We had an excellent stay at Cedar Blue. The hosts were thoughtful, generous people: we were warmly welcomed, given great tips about how to make the most of our stay and provided with the most delicious breakfasts. We were made to feel at-home but our hosts never felt intrusive.
The location, very close to The Copper Coast, is great for easy access to walks and beaches. We also drove along the coast to beautiful coves and up into the hills to the Mahon Falls. Perfect setting. There are bars and little places to eat in Dungarvan and further along the coast. But the marvellous home-cooked breakfasts at Cedar Blue were so filling that we had no room left for lunch!
The room was perfectly comfortable and carefully prepared for us - great shower, great bed, access right on to the lovely lawned garden and oh, the views… Marvellous.
We enjoyed this stay so very much that we’re struggling to express just how good it was. Maybe the simplest way to say it is 10/10…
We highly recommend Cedar Blue and would certainly stay there again. There was nothing about this stay that we didn’t like.
- Clarissa (10/5): What a wonderful stay! - The experience I had was wonderful!!! The place is beautiful, the team is very friendly and attentive.. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious!!! It's hard to find scrambled eggs as creamy as the ones I tried.. The only thing to note is that there isn't a sign with the name Cedarblue, but the GPS took us to the right place. I will return for sure.
- Sands (9/5): Ladies night away! - Wonderful welcome by Carole and Brendan..
The house is very contemporary with wonderfully decorated rooms. Our room led on to a fabulous patio where we could sit out and enjoy the stunning views! There was nothing to dislike!
- Finola (9/5): Superb - The setting was fabulous. Brendan and Carole were extremely welcoming and friendly. The breakfast, which costs extra but is totally worth it, was delicious. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the view was wonderful. Everything was lovely.
- Lonican (10/5): Perfect bliss weekend - From the second we stepped out of the car we had breathtaking views of the water and mountains and the most spectacular home we knew we were in for a treat. Our bedroom was absolutely stunning with such cute chairs outdoors to the most amazing views perfect to have your coffee in the morning,Carole and her family are just the nicest family and couldnt have been more helpful and kind hearted.Breakfast is 10/10 with everything made soo fresh by Carole the scones were still piping hot and straight from the oven.we were truly blessed to stay at such a beautiful place with such a beautiful family.highly recommend ❤️ Nothing everything was just amazing
- Mary (10/5): Exceptional - Everything
Definitely recommend Cedarblue
Owen, thanks a million. So helpful.
Beautiful place Nothing
- Robert (10/5): We will definitely go back to Cedar Blue if we are anywhere near Dungarvan! - Cedar Blue was a beautiful property overlooking the ocean. Our room was very nice and well appointed. It has a great private bathroom and private sitting area right outside the bedroom. The hosts, Brendan and Carol were fantastic! They gave us many useful suggestions about what to see and recommended a great local pub to visit and local restaurants. They were both a delight to talk to and Carol made the most incredible homemade breakfast! It was the best breakfast we had anywhere on our trip! We highly recommend Cedar Blue if you are visiting in Dungarvan, Ireland. Nothing! We thoroughly enjoyed the property, our room, the view and our hosts.
- Celia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robin (9/5): Great place to stay to get away. A bit far from local scene but otherwise lovely. - Owner was lovely and stayed in communication. Told us about special choice nearby to go to the next day. Location a bit far from local restaurants. Local pub nearby stops serving food early so would eat before arrival or at the BnB. Easily seen on the map beforehand.
- Jordan (7/5): Good -
- Mairead (10/5): The most relaxing one night stay - The location is stunning 🤩 Fantastic view of the ocean & the breakfast was simply amazing.
- Stacie (10/5): Perfect in every way - Everything! The only small thing I would suggest is to put a sign at the entrance to the property so that guests will feel confident they found the correct property when they arrive.
- Barbara (10/5): Better than home! - Everything. This was our 2nd stay there. The location is beautiful, just 10 minutes from the center of Dungarvan. The room is so comfortable, the bathroom is spacious, and the bedding and towels are great. And the breakfast! Delicious and beautiful. Nothing. We love everything about this place.
- Vineta (9/5): Beautiful countryside next to the sea - Beautiful countryside with great sea views, calm and relaxing atmosphere. Property is next to Green way- you can cycle from the house and enjoy the beautiful landscape even more!!! If you want to go for dinner- Dungarvan town is only few minutes driving from the property (or cycling, if you want…), so you can enjoy the dinner in multiple nice places- you will get information from the host (the fantastic lady Catherine, if I am right with the name…).
The host was very welcoming and helpful to provide us with everything we needed. Beds were very soft and comfortable.
Breakfast- excellent!!! Definitely worth to try it!!! My favourite breakfast so far- from all the trips I have been…
Thank you so much!!! GPS was showing different place.. but it might be my phone’s fault
- Oksana (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely everything! Friendly, kind hosts, cozy, spotless clean room, fantastic view from the windows, excellent location. Private bathroom with all one might need. Enough place to park. Kettle/tea/sweats in the room and a tasty coffee at the dining area. Couldn’t wish for more!
Thank you, we had a great stay!
- Peg (10/5): I will come back again and will share our experience with others. - It was beautifully furnished. The host and her family were so accommodating.
We choose to have breakfast and it was fabulous. Everything homemade 🤗
- Loveyshan (7/5): Good -
- Sheelagh (10/5): Total Bliss! - Stunning views from both bedrooms.Very modern and very pleasantly furnished bedrooms. Lovely family atmosphere. Always made to feel very welcome. Amazing breakfasts with freshly baked scones, home made jam, fresh fruit salad, cereals, cooked and more! All served in dining area just off the bedrooms, with a beautiful sea view. Carole has put her heart and soul into making this one of the most perfect B&Bs we have ever stayed at. We would love to be able to go back to this place. IT is near the lively town of Dungarvan and within easy reach of Waterford. N/A
- Vicente (10/5): A Hidden Gem for a Perfect Getaway! - My recent stay at Cedarblue was nothing short of exceptional! The room was beautifully decorated with excellents view of Copper Coast. The bed was incredibly cozy. Breakfast was a true highlight with homemade pastries and farm-to-table ingredients. The location of the B&B is ideal for both relaxation and exploration of the area. Thank you, Carole and Brendan for the stay! I will definitely be returning and recommending your place to all my friends and family Nothing

- Kathleen (10/5): A relaxing, friendly and very comfortable experience. - A beautiful en-suite room with fabulous views of the sea. Carole, our host, was very friendly and gave us lots of advice about the area. The breakfast there is amazing with delicious fruit yoghurt, cereal, Eggs Benedict and delicious home made scones with homemade jam and cream. All prepared by Carole.
- Danielle (10/5): Exceptional - Very relaxed atmosphere, very clean comfortable room with a great view, and a very welcoming host There's nothing I didn't like
- Paula (10/5): Super stay - The hospitality was amazing. From the very minute you enter the property I was greeted with friendliness and warmth. Location is great, beautiful sea views and close to town.
Breakfast was superb, all homemade. I couldn't ask for any better. I was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. Nothing
- Barry (10/5): Exceptional - Great relaxing and gorgeous property with a great sea view which is very close to the Waterford Greenway. Stayed for two night and we would recommend the place highly. So much beaches to go to nearby and one of the most comfortable beds to sleep on. Brendan and his son Eoin were brilliant hosts and very accommodating. It was honestly perfect for a relaxing get away.

- Margrethe (10/5): Can highly recommend this place - I loved it! - The hosts, the bed, the views, the stillness - everything was just perfect! :) NA
- Stephen (10/5): This was our first night in this part of Ireland and I doubt we will find anything better. - The breakfast was delicious, one of the best I have had the pleasure of eating. The produce was fresh and had lovely flavours
The bedroom was extremely clean and fresh with an unbelievable view out to sea. The double bed was equally as good as mine at home, basically a very good quality mattress topped off with 2 inches of memory foam, what more could anyone want.
The bathroom was equally as good as the bedroom with top quality fittings and beautiful towels. Absolutely Nothing.
- Emily (10/5): Wow..! - The room, the view, the hospitality..!
- Helene (10/5): Exceptional - A real treat, an absolutely excellent breakfast and lovely hosts!
- Paul (8/5): As above .... - The best thing we all liked was the warmth of the hosts Brendan and Carol.... lovely people.
Our beds were so cosy and the decor in the room was superb. It was just a lovely stay. Being able to walk out of room into their garden in the morning to the sound of birds, cattle and nature was just so soulful. We recommend Cedarblue for sure. Nothing
- Steven (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anita (10/5): Comfortable, cozy and quiet room with fabulous breakfast - Beautiful and quiet room with a comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. Tastefully decorated with gorgeous views from the terrace. The breakfast was delicious! We had yogurt with a berry and passion fruit compote, home made fruit scones and poached eggs. Make sure to order breakfast as it is one of the highlights! The hosts are really nice too. Overall great experience and would highly recommend this b&b. If I had to point one thing out, it would be maybe the lack of blackout blinds as it gets very bright very early in the morning.
- Barbara (10/5): A gem on the Copper Coast - Everything. The view is stunning. The location is great, 10 minute drive to Dungarvan, and close to many beautiful beaches. The room was clean and comfortable, with loads of storage. The bed was very comfortable, both with the nice soft mattress and lovely bed linens. Do not miss breakfast! The scones are the best we've ever had, homemade by the owner. Fresh fruit and yogurt, Irish brown bread--we were well set up for the day. And the owners themselves couldn't have been nicer. Top it off with kittens, and you couldn't ask for more! Honestly, there is nothing that we did not like, other than I probably gained 2 kilos while we were there.
- Dwayne (10/5): Lovely stay at Cedarblue, Brendan and his family were so welcoming and warming. Very helpful in helping us find nice pla - Very spacious rooms, with great amenities. Comfortable beds with a lovely shower at your disposal. Nothing, loved everything about the property and I’ll happily return next time with 3 of us instead of 2.
- Marianne (9/5): Superb - Great location, very quiet too. Not too far from the picturesque Dungarvan and plenty of dinner options.
Friendly and helpful hosts. Onsite parking bonus if traveling by car.
Very clean and spacious room and en-suite. Tastefully decorated!
We didn’t have breakfast so unable to comment about it but is available for a fee. Nothing!
- Moira (10/5): Great location 5mins from town centre, super host and fabulous room. - Fabulous room with gorgeous views Just needed a bar fridge
- Cortney (10/5): Exceptional -

- Sean (8/5): Tired Travelers after work -
- Siobhan (10/5): Relaxing hideaway - The friendly people and beautiful decor.
- John (10/5): Great B&B - Very, very clean, most comfortable bed and nicest sheets/towels ever. Lovely, friendly family to stay with.
- Dermot (9/5): Superb -
- Caroline (9/5): Lovely place ❤️ - Our room was fabulous. Very clean and plenty of room. The bathroom was also lovely. The shower was amazing. We had tea and coffee making facilities in our room and had biscuits left for us, which was a lovely touch.
The owner got up early to make our breakfast as we had to leave early, so we were very thankful for that. The breakfast table had a lovely view out over the sea. Breakfast itself was a fabulous cooked breakfast and also had cereal. Very friendly and welcoming place and owners. Very polite and went out of their way to make our stay a great one. Would definitely stay again. Only two small things. We had no curtain or blind on our corner window. it would be nice to have one for privacy. Also, no TV. Again, it would be nice to have the option.
- Roxanab (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cameron (10/5): Great location, great room, great hosts - Beautiful location and ocean view, the hosts were both extremely friendly, gave us good suggestions for food & drink in Dungarvan and even offered us a ride into town if we wanted. Couldn't have asked for a better stay.
- Jonathan (10/5): If you want a peaceful spot, cant go wrong, - Quiet, comfortable, clean, great views, great breakfasts No tv, but not a problem in the end,
- Marie (8/5): Beautiful area, hope to return in good weather - The option of dinner (on a dark stormy night after a long drive!)
The friendly and charming Kieran
Many special touches in the bathroom The information about "available" breakfast that didn't say this was not included. Would be good to include something simple for all guests (coffee/tea and toast) as part of room charge.
No area for guests to enjoy except terrace which is not useable when weather is bad
- Richard (10/5): Exceptional - View
- Sophie (9/5): Superb - Lovely room with amazing sea views and ideally located a few minutes from the Waterford Greenway. Very friendly and helpful hosts.
- Kim (7/5): We enjoyed our stay. - The view was amazing, and the Clonea Beach just minutes away. Carol was very sweet and welcoming. Being a new B&B, they were still doing a little work on the room which had it’s own bathroom, but unfortunately no bathroom door if you like your privacy.
- Ronan (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice room with a great sea view!
- Samuel (9/5): beautiful area, nice proprietors - It's placed in a beautiful area. There is a river estuary when walking to the beach, and it's right next to the Waterford Greenway. There is more nature within reach, such as the Mahon Falls, which I visited on bike (~1.5h there, back ~1h as it's downhill). The proprietors happily recommended these and other spots.
I arrived late and had other special asks which were happily accommodated for by the proprietors.
They are just starting out, but if they keep the attitude I'd happily stay again. It would probably be a good idea to have a car. Public transport isn't great in all of Ireland (coming from Germany), but here the next bus stop is very far.
Combine that with unreliable irish weather and you've a good chance of getting wet. Also at least FreeNow doesn't seem to cover that area as a start location, but I'm no expert on taxis.
Luckily I was driven to the bus stop by the proprietors when I left with my baggage, without question.
But having an individual car is probably a very good idea, also considering that the next restaurants and groceries are not super close even with a bike.
