While the property was very nice at first glance, there were dirty under wear in the bathroom that were not cleaned up from previous tenants , the windows were 1 pane and you could here all the people late at night as well as the garbage pick up in the middle of the night , every night. The mattresses were not comfortable at all. The stairs to get to the apartment we long and steep.

It was spacious with good amenities, including a full kitchen & washing machine. The location to visitor sites was excellent. There were lots of restaurants & shopping areas around the apartment building. This is something that can't be changed, but the apartment was on the 4th floor with many stairs. It was very difficult to get our luggage up & down the stairs with no elevator. We would like to have had 2 beds instead of sharing one.

• Jonathan (9/5): Great apartment in an incredible location - Clean, well-furnished and very comfortable apartment in the heart of the city, easily walkable to most of the big attractions and surrounded by great places to eat. Check in/out was easy, host was nice. This was pretty close to a perfect spot for being in Florence in the sweltering heat since we could come back easily and drop things off, cool off in the A/C, take a nap after the morning activities, and be right back out in the city. The big bed is essentially a futon over wooden slats as opposed to a mattress with a little more structure. The couch pull-out mattress is more comfortable, for a frame of reference. The big bed isn't the worst bed I've slept on in a rental, but it's close.

Great location with lots of good restaurants close by. - My family member and I are both in our 70s and found it difficult going up and down stairs with 80 steps. One morning as we left there was a homeless person lying asleep on the lower landing. There was a pile of garbage next to him.

The kitchen was well stocked with appliances. The location was awesome . Four flights of stairs to the apartment! The introduction notebook should be rearranged in a logical way and should include bus, train, and cab information (phone numbers!). The notebook is helpful but has no information on leaving at the end. We left the keys on the table.

• Anum (8/5): Very good - location was phenomenal, can't express enough how amazing the location is!!! host was super responsive and so incredibly kind - even dropped off extra towels for us given that were were staying for a longer period of time. the home was spacious and having a washer (note: no dryer) was amazing and much needed. shower door was broken and a bit run-down/could use some love. AC wasn't working properly BUT i will say that the owner/host was quick to assist and helped fix so it ended up working out! we knew the place had stairs and the stairs were REALLY rough being on the top floor and the heat of the summer; but location made up for it :) bed wasn't the most comfortable but again, location of this place truly made up for all of it.

Supermarket almost next door. Tram stop minutes away. Nothing.

The location was simply amazing. less then 5min walk from the central market, where you can find amazing food. We did everything by foot and enjoyed our stay in Florence. The appartment is big, there is a fully equiped kitchen, washing machine (which was a godsend in the middle of our trip). The bed is comfortable. Beware of the steps, about 80 to get to the room (not a big problem for us, just ponting out). The appartment was clean, but as we entered on the first day had a "dirty floor cloth" smell (We left the window open, and it went away).

• Irina (10/5): Superb location in one of the most amazing cultural capitals of the world and great accommodations. - Spacious, with character, clean, well furnished, comfortable beds and pillows, and well stocked kitchen. Company and spacious bathroom. Washing and dishwashing machines. The location is superb, next to the main attractions, huge choice of restaurants and tons of amazing gelato. Staff responded almost immediately and was very helpful. The only problem for a light sleeper is that like any center of a tourist city this one has late evening noise, sometimes removal of trash, sometimes songs and chat on the street. Closing windows helps a lot but not 100%. Despite this, we highly recommend the place.

We could go back to the unit for a short break during the day, then go out again. It's too close to the garbage cans in front of the building. The garbage truck come late at 1-2 am. I got wake up all the time. If you are not a deep sleeper like my 19 year-old son, you would not have good sleep, like me and my wife.

• Raheela (9/5): Spacious place in heart of Florence. - Perfectly located, close to a major historical attractions. Very spacious and comfortable apartment. Very little noise pollution at night. Having and A/C and a fan was a blessing. Location is 10 minutes walk from the train station.Highly recommended. 81 stairs to get to the apartment, so good luck if you are traveling with heavy luggage. This was not an issue for us as we light carry on bags.

The owner had a comprehensive binder of info for us to clarify all the amenities and recommendations for eating and sightseeing. Wifi was very good. Couch bed was comfortable for our daughter. Any questions we had were quickly responded to. It is on third story of the building and no elevator so people should be aware of that.

• Debra (10/5): In the heart of Firenze - Fantastic location. Five minutes walk from the station, and less than 5 minutes to the Duomo and Mercato Centrale. Comfortable and well equipped, quiet at night.
• Katarzyna (7/5): Overall it was a good stay, location definitely made up for any shortcomings of the host. - Perfect location! Very close to the train station and major attractions. The apartment was fairly large and comfortable. The apartment is located on the 3rd floor so not too easy to get in and out (especially with luggage). Basic bathroom toiletries were not provided so we needed to shop for shampoo, soap, etc. There was a laundry machine (which is great) but no laundry detergent was provided. Also during our stay we had no hot water for 2 out of 3 days. Lastly, we were asked to remove any garbage we generated during the stay from the apartment (we stayed in many properties over years and this one was the first to request this).
• Goodwin (10/5): It was a perfect stay and location. Clean with everything we needed. - The apartment was large with all the amenities that we needed. It was in the perfect location. Only a short walk from the train station and all the major attractions and restaurants.
• Davy (10/5): Amazing AnticaFirenze - A lovely apartment located less than 3 minutes from the Cathedral. There is a spacious bedroom (lots of storage) and comfy sitting area. The kitchen has a microwave, dishwasher, hub with oven and a decent sized fridge with separate freezer. There is also a room with a washing machine. AnticaFirenze is on the corner of one of the hubs of activity in Florence with restaurants and supermarkets just a few steps down the street. There is no elevator but that lent to the appeal of the property, a true Italian gem. Andrea (the property manager) was amazing. She was able to accommodate our ever changing plans on short notice. Lots of recommendations and always engaged, the ease of communication made for a fantastic holiday experience.

Andrea was super nice attentive and available throughout our whole stay. Guided & Explained everything we needed with great patience 💯 The Bedroom bed was comfortable + The infant bed was big and of good quality as well. Kitchen was properly equipped. Everything was Superb 👌🤠 Minor fault for the property there's quite a climb to the apartments. (3rd floor-No elevator) however we felt safe enough to keep our baby stroller on the 1st floor spacious floor area. Everything else was so Wonderful It is actually the only drawback. But price has matched it. For those who appreciate Quality, Location, and Super Service. Worth the climb 😁
• Stephen (7/5): This is a great apartment in a great location just needs a bit of maintenance - Great location. Kitchen well equipped. Good washing machine. Easy communication and access. Had problems getting hot water in the shower and sometimes it would go cold while we were in it. Had to get out and run the bathroom tap and wait for the hot to come through then turn shower back on. The a/c took ages to cool the room ( was particularly hot weather when we were there). Think it needs a service. Left side of bed rolls to middle which isn’t ideal

Close to train station and subways. Key in lockbox was wrong code when we got there. Contacted owner at 1:00am and response was quick however and I was given the right code. No elevator although I knew that.

• Anna (8/5): Well situated apartment. - We really like the location of this property, well situated apartment super near to many touristy attractions. The place was clean with the nice view from the windows. As I am traveling with a child, cooking at home is essential, so it is nice to be able to find a short knife, to cut fruits and veggies or a peeler. Unfortunately it was not available. Poor supply on dishwasher soap, laundry detergent as well as shampoo. Dishwasher sponge old and used up, it is nice to have a fresh sponge to wash dishes with. There are two A/C units in apartment, one in living room and another one in the bedroom. They work, but need a long time to cool the place. A/C in the bedroom is running with water, so need some attention, perhaps just cleaning. two fans in the unit, but only one works. Both bathroom sink and shower were clogged, so my many concerns it’s purely maintenance issues, that needs to be addressed. To be fare to the host, he was well communicating and listening to my concerned and was willing to send someone over to fix the clogged sink, it’s just our schedule was so intense, we did not have time to stay inside and deal with fixing the unit, so I asked for the maintenance person to come by after our departure. Yet again, many little things are just maintenance related and could be fixed. Place could be restocked and A/C and fen could be repaired.
• Linda (10/5): Exceptional - The location was amazing! Andrea was able to remedy any issues, and responses quickly. The apartment was really spacious, and had a lot of amenities. There were a lot of stairs since it was on the top floor with no elevator.

• Mindyourownbusiness (10/5): Great place to stay in Florence - Great apartment fantastic location. Very clean. Clear instructions how to get in. Drama free. Even our taxi driver who dropped us off the first time commented on the location. There are three flights of stairs which we were aware of. The shower is a little small however I am 6 foot tall and a hundred kilos. There is hot water you just have to let it run for about 1 minute once it's there there's plenty of it.

The host was very helpful with a great service mind. The place has no lift ( I have already aware of it). However, if you have a physical problem and are unable to carry luggage up to the room, you may find it uncomfortable there.
• Christine (10/5): A lovely little apartment in a great location. - This apartment was very central to the Duomo and other attractions. It was clean, and bright. We had one small issue with the showerhead, but it was addressed within a few hours of us alerting the manager, and did not impact our stay after that. The kitchen stove worked fine.

• Ntokozo (10/5): Fab location to explore beautiful Florence - The apartment was spacious, clean and is situated in a prime location to explore the centre of Florence. The Central Market is a few minutes walk away and is amazing, in fact many of the sights of Firenze are within walking distance. The apartment was rather cold upon arrival (Febuary/ poor weather), however we contacted Andrea our host and he quickly sorted out the problem.

• Jimmy (7/5): Great Location, light filled, Killer Staircase, No Noise Policy seems to be overkilled - We are a family of 4 and the location is very close to everything. 150m to Train Station , 200m to Duomo We are on the top floor and it is a light-filled aparment which we really like. You have to be physically ready to carry your luggage to level 4 but in saying that we like the top floor which has better light. There is a strict no-noise policy from 9:30 pm for all guests. Although the noise from street restaurants is probably lounder. The shower head water pressure is a bit weak but managable.
• Meiron (9/5): Superb - Great and beautiful apt in a hip location. Andrea the owner is super attentive, helpful and act fast to make sure you'll be satisfied. We loved it!
