• John (10/5): Great location for the NC 500 - Great location for the NC 500, very clean and comfortable, the breakfast and the host Sandra who was very welcoming, nothing was to much she even prepared a hot flask for my onward journey. There was nothing to report other than travelling on a motorbike, there's plenty of parking at the location, but the drive is gravel and you do have to take care when manoeuvring.

The room was a decent size, very clean, and decorated in soft calming colours — just what we needed for the last day of our holiday in the Highlands. We also loved the freshly cooked breakfast in the morning. Felt like home and we would happily stay again.

• Catherine (10/5): Relaxing and cosy. - Extremely comfortable, spotlessly clean, beautiful furnishings and bedding. I liked the huge bathroom, with the biggest bath I’ve ever seen, as well as a really powerful shower. Breakfast was cooked to order and piping hot, with swaps where requested. Lots of extra fruit, yogurt, cereal etc… I liked it all.

• Graham (10/5): I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and felt properly looked after. I found the location ideal for touring - The house was clean, tastefully furnished, and in an excellent state of repair. The room was very comfortable with a good bed and a proper easy chair for relaxing in. Even though my room was not en-suite, it had a dedicated bathroom with an excellent power shower. Breakfast was nicely prepared and presented, and there was a good choice of cereal and fruit and yoghurt. The parking was to the rear of the property which felt secure. The welcome was warm and the service was attentive without being intrusive. I have no complaints, although I did have to be careful on the landing steps leading to the bathroom.

The host was pleasant and the value for money was very good. Oh and breakfast was really nicely cooked too. The bathroom is excellent but it is shared. The road outside was a wee bit busy but only in the morning. That's all.

We very much enjoyed our stay, especially thanks to the lovely host who tool excellent care of us. The breakfast also delicious, we would hapilly stay again. All good, no complaints.

• Stuart (10/5): Spotless and super homely - On my LEJOG route, I had a wonderful stay here. The house was spotless, comfortable, and easy to find, with a really homely feel. Sandra couldn’t have been more welcoming – nothing was too much trouble. She provided safe storage for my bike and, knowing I had to leave early, kindly made me a packed lunch as I’d be missing breakfast. A perfect stop for anyone travelling through Dingwall – I’d highly recommend. It was perfect - no complaints
