Guest Reviews
- Willem (4/5): No AC and not too clean - WiFi works in this remote area of Georgia. Secure parking behind a gate. Close to monastery, so it's only a 15 min drive. Owners are friendly but barely speak English, we made it work with Google translate and hand gestures :) Bathroom was shared and probably in the worst state we have ever seen. Spider webs in the shower, stains everywhere and even a hairbrush with hairs still on it left behind in the sink. And some random shower slippers too.
The room did not have AC even though it was advertised and because it was too hot we had to sleep with the windows open (daytime temperatures of 34 degrees) The entire night we could hear dogs fighting and barking all over town. Not their fault, but AC and closed windows would have fixed this, that's why I booked the property to begin with. Literally the worst night sleep in a long time.
I think this place was way too expensive for what we got, especially if you compare it to other places we have stayed at in Georgia.
- Sonja (7/5): Udabno quaint little town - Tina is a wonderful host and was so kind to make a double bed for us and make us a lovely breakfast. She was also so accommodating on our late arrival and lent us her heater because we were so cold. The photos taken of the outside are not of the accommodation, but of tourist attractions in the area.
- Baptiste (10/5): Exceptional - What an enjoyment to stop in Udabno on the way to visit the Monastery of David Garedja. Time seems suspended in this isolated place surrounded by steppes stretching as far as the eye can see. Definitely worth experiencing. The host was welcoming and made our stay very pleasant, and the breakfast was very nice as well.
- Anthonie (10/5): Super! - Staff, location, facilities Dogs barking at night - but inevitable
- Benjamin (8/5): Very good - Very friendly hosts!
- Vladimir (10/5): Exceptional - We stayed for one night in a spacious room for three people with a balcony. The bathroom is shared, but we're the only guests that period. We parked our car on the territory. The next morning we had breakfast, it was simple and tasty. In total, it's a quiet, peaceful place with friendly owners. Everything was fine.
- Remigiusz (10/5): Udabno is a unique place, I was welcomed by a wonderful couple, wonderful breakfasts only from organic farming, and ever - Super friendly host Nothing
- Emilia (10/5): "Little House on the Prairie" - You so need to be there! Very great apartament. Wide and big balcony to relax. Clean bathroom. Comfortable beds. Very tasty and nutritial breakfast, especially homemade plum jam. Near to the market and restaurante. Very peacefull place where time goes much slowly.
Tina is amazing! Everybody in the village knows her, it helps a lot!
- Alex (10/5): Authentic Georgian Village Experience - Authentic Georgian experience in a small town (more like a village). Comfortable bed, hot water and very friendly family running the place. The breakfast was excellent and it was an interesting way to see what life is like in a small town in Georgia.
- Gabrysia (10/5): The best guest house I have ever been to. - The owner lady is the kindest person we have ever met. She made for us delicious breakfast. Breakfast was amazing, beds were very comfortable and there was no problem with hot water.
- Bruno (9/5): Superb - Tina is a very nice person, we enjoy our 1 night stay thanks to her, she did all the little things that everybody love, she offered peaches and plums and provide fresh water without asking for it.
Thank you Tina for all and your lovely smile.
