- Gary (10/5): Very nice and quiet stay. Hotel is behind the Archeologi Museum in a very quiet place. The quality. - I liked the quality of the hotel but most of all the staff.
We had a flexible trip and i mentioned to the lovely lady running the desk that we were thinking of going to Syros. She helped me book the hotel that she recommended and then drew on a map and gave us recommendations where to go and where to eat.
Wonderful service from a lovely family. Nothing
- Marie (8/5): -
- Annie (10/5): - The team at Doukissa were wonderful - great recommendations & really welcoming. Our friend had injured her leg & they were really flexible in offering a more suitable room last minute.
The hotel is really calm & clean, well situated close to the port & the pretty back streets.

- Nicola (10/5): - Wonderful, immaculately clean , light and airy family run hotel in a great location a few minutes walk from Parikia old town . The owner couldn’t have been more helpful . I arrived with a broken foot and she offered us a room on the ground floor instead of the room we had booked which was up a flight of stairs . Thank you so much Doukissa .

- Jordan (8/5): Very good - The hotel and staff were very nice, and it’s conveniently located a short walk from old town Parikia. Air conditioning in the rooms works well. Beds were a bit hard and we could have used a heavier blanket. It would also be nice to have an iron in the room rather than having to bring back & forth to the front desk each time.
- Cody (10/5): Exceptional -
- Clarissa (9/5): Superb - Great staff, nice and silent place, well located close to the port and bus stop. Nice breakfast too. Beautiful house and family!
- Rafia (10/5): I loved staying here. The place was gorgeous and peaceful. The room was very comfortable and the staff were kind and wel - Staff were extremely friendly and helpful
- Brendan (9/5): We felt that this stay of two nights in The Doukissa Hotel was the highlight of our stay in Paros. - It present as an art gallery might; every horizontal and vertical surface covered with translucent Paros white marble.
Breakfast on the terrace on wrought iron table and chairs, again marble on table top!
Dripping class, as one might expect of the management and staff of the Grand Old Duchess , which is of course, the Doukissa Hotel in Paros.
An attraction in its own right, situated next to the Museum of Paros and 60 meters from the Holy Shrine of the Virgin Mary Catholic Church
- Matthew (9/5): Superb - Staff so attentive to your needs and very friendly. Close proximity to town centre but far enough out of it to not have to worry about busy foot traffic.
- Hento (9/5): Confortable stay in a cosy and beautiful hotel! - The design and location of the hotel. The kind crew made it feel as familial and did their best to have the stay as comfortable as possible.
- Alison (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lerman (10/5): Fabulous stay in Parikia! Kiss kiss! - Fabulous hospitality! Nicest mother, daughter and staff. Everything was so good!
- Gabrielle (8/5): Lovely with spacious room - Room was very spacious and clean, staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was lovely. Needed help with air-conditioner and had to ask for wifi password but staff were helpful
- Gunilla (10/5): Exceptional -
- Corina (10/5): Exceptional - The good position in the center ok Parikia, close to the main attractions. The beautiful balcony with lots of plants surrounding it and view towards the port. The professional, friendly and supportive attitude of the personnel. The useful details in the room and elegant ones in the lobby. The big private parking lot. And last but not least, the fact that the refrigerator was not at all noisy which can guarantee a good sleep during the night. The breakfast can be improved but it was OK for the start of a day.
- Ian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andriana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Danilo (10/5): Excellent location, staff and value for money - Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff.
Free parking in the facility was really handy.
- Elaine (8/5): Very good -
- Leonardo (9/5): Very pleasant accommodation in ideal location. Very friendly owners. Definitely recommended - Though just one night stay, it was very pleasant and we would definitely recommend Doukissa.
We were very well received both at check-in and out by the owner and family. Nothing to point out
- Pappas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maja (10/5): Exceptional -
- Monil (9/5): Superb - -Very nicely decorated rooms
-Decent sized rooms to sort of fit in all your things even if you have big luggage
-Nice balcony to top it all -Slightly far around 500 mtrs from the bus stop (we didn't mind it)
-We were asked to change our room for 1 night out of 3 nights we stayed there
- Lau (10/5): Great feels like a palace - Everything Nothing negative
- Natalija (9/5): Comfortable and pleasant stay at a great location in Paros - The location and the staff were amazing, rooms were nice and clean and we got fresh towels every day.
Definitely would recommend for your stay in Paros
- Eleni (10/5): Perfect Paros spot - Amazing location and owner. Immaculate cleaning and great room. We will come again!! Nothing
- Angela (8/5): Beautiful venue and close to main port - Location and look of the hotel was 5 min walk from main port. Venue was beautiful. Friendly staff. Stairs made it difficult to carry up heavy luggage. One staff mixed up our breakfast booking. We paid for 3, ate 2 but was still charged for an extra breakfast- we felt abit cheated! This detracted from our experience unfortunately
- Kelly (9/5): A nice little hotel close to shops - Location very convenient- walking distance to hotel but bear in mind no lifts or ramps so you carry your luggage.
Staff friendly and willing to help. Size of room was decent the balcony was good and aircon worked well. Having to leave key at reception during the day.
The beds we had were not very soft and the pillows were uncomfortable for us.
- Perfetto (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, the room was clean and had everything you would need on vacation, but the best thing about our stay was the staff, friendly and helpful. My friend was not feeling well and they helped a lot. Definitely would recommend this hotel, we had a great stay! Shout out!
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional - The staff are wonderful at the hotel and we felt very well looked after.
- Marco (9/5): Superb - Everything Nothing
- Bogdan (10/5): Vacation to remember! - I cannot recommend more the property. Location is excellent, staff very kind and ready to help. Room was comfortable, and was cleaned on daily basis.
- Sarah (9/5): Wonderful! - The property was great - very clean and comfortable and the staff were very nice. The location was very good as well - close to the port and the old town. Overall a great stay at a very nice property! We thought we were getting a free breakfast but apparently we didn’t book that option. I think it was the booking website’s issue - not the hotel - as it wasn’t clear the price that we picked didn’t come with breakfast.
- Ivo (10/5): Amazing boutique hotel very close to the old city of Parikia with parking. Highly recommended! -
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jane (10/5): Perfect boutique hotel in an excellent location with clean and comfortable rooms. - Beautiful property, gracious hosts, modern and clean rooms, excellent location close to everything, and free parking which is a great bonus if you are renting a car. Nothing. Everything was near perfection.
- Marco (10/5): Exceptional - The position is perfect and the staff is very helpful and friendly
- Emre (9/5): great location great owners - Great location amazing stuff. Good breakfast car parking and access to Port is incredibly easy. not much to comment decent but due location pricey a bit
- Anne (10/5): A comfortable and well located hotel that is welcoming. - A great friendly welcome and felt very comfortable. It was a really good location being a short walk to town and restaurants. We loved the breakfast on the patio and it was also quiet. The rooms were clean and good size and so good we recommended it to our son who stayed after us. Nothing to complain about!
- Elefteria (10/5): Best location to stay and very close to the port. - This family run hotel was exactly what we were looking for. The hotel was clean and spacious, while the staff were very friendly and helpful. They went over and above to make sure that we had everything that we needed and that we enjoyed our stay in Paros. They recommended places to visit and best restaurants to eat. I would definitely recommend this hotel to our family and friends. I honestly have no negative commentary on this hotel. Everything was wonderful.
- Θεοδοσιοσ (10/5): Exceptional -
- Edwin (7/5): Good - Good location, friendly staff, clean rooms and access to parking a hire car. The shower was absolutely tiny and the tap took up a large percentage of the space.
We were in room 22 with a balcony that was almost entirely consumed by the shutters.
- Margarita (6/5): Pleasant -
- Steve (10/5): Great stay in a private mansion as part of wonderful family. - Everything: location, room, beds, bath, public areas and outside terrace, great breakfast, cleanliness of room and all areas. Most important, the warmth and caring of the owner, Doukissa, her family and her staff. We loved Doukissa and Bobby. Great tips for sightseeing and Restaurants, etc.. We really felt like being part of a wonderful family! Protocol for housekeeping would benefit from consistency for example in restocking refreshments such as tea and coffee.
- Lucy (10/5): Comfortable, clean and convenient! - The room was clean and spacious, we had a lovely balcony perfect for sitting and enjoying the evening. On checking in we noticed our mini fridge was not cold, by the time we had returned from lunch they had replaced it with a new one. The air conditioning worked well and the staff were lovely and very accommodating! Walking distance to everything you need!
- Patricia (8/5): Very good -
- Emin (10/5): Great hotel, even greater hosts ! - As a hotel, Dokissa had everything you could ask for. A bright, clean and cozy room with a great location and of course air conditioning in a hot region like Paros. But what made our stay so special for us was our hosts. They were extremely welcoming and helpful. They made everything easier for our stay and on top of that, they also turned our two day visit in Paros to a better experience with their recommendations. For those who are lucky enough to stay there, I recommend you to pay attention to their restaurant recommendations :)
- Bodrug (8/5): Very good -
- Dani (10/5): Exceptional -
- Violeta (7/5): Good -
- Michael (9/5): Superb - The owner Doukissa is a very sweet young woman running a hotel that apparently was her grandfather's home and a hotel he ran. The room and bath had marble everywhere and great fixtures. If I would recommend something it would be that they get a hotel management consultant in for a day to develop checklists and procedures for the maids etc. For instance, we didn't have cups or a bathroom mat in the room. But they very sweetly brought cups when we asked and I later saw the owner putting away some bath mats. Also I think I smelled some moth balls from their linen room on the towels...I realize this smells like home to some people but others are sensitive. But they are super sweet and the room and balcony were great. Well located to be just out of the noise but only about two or three blocks from the center of town.
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional - Great stay, Great location, quiet neighborhood, but close to port. Nice balcony overlooking park area. There was a window in bathroom looking into room, but staff was very accommodating and covered it up for us.
- Marianna (10/5): Perfect location, very welcoming staff. Loved our stay -
- Barroso (8/5): Good location, friendly staff - The staff is very professional and friendly. The room was ok, except the bathroom. The breakfast was good.
The location is good and the hotel is quiet. The bathroom was to small. The shower is very small. The think the price of the hotel is to high for a 2 star hotel.
- Mariam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Susan (9/5): Fabulous - Great host, lovely location, really comfortable stay. Highly recommend!
- Jorge (9/5): Superb - Great location, beautiful gardens and it seems like its a new property. I thought the room was lacking some decor, it felt too simple for the price. But overall had a great stay.
- Anonymous (9/5): We received valuable info and recommendations about the island, sightseeing and restaurants. We enjoyed every minute of - Location and staff were superb.
- Ceyda (9/5): Relaxing and nice - The location is perfect, in a quite area but close to the main squares, bus and ferry stops. Just 6 minutes on foot. The hotel staff were very friendly and easy to communicate. They could solve any problem quickly. You can feel at your home while staying at this hotel. They behave you like someone from their family. Strongly recommended. The breakfast could have been slightly better. It was not open buffet and it is served to your table. The variety of food was nice but not for my type :) It could be better to have Greek cheese and olive oils :)
- Jelena (8/5): Very clean centrally located place - This is very clean, centrally located facility, with friendly and helpful staff and owners. Our double room was recently renovated, new and very, very clean, every day changing towels, with all needed amenities, lot of electricity sockets, and lovely balcony overlooking museum and the church. We were missing the cattle for the coffee, and they provided immediately. We stayed 5 days, and facility had everything we needed. At the checkout, it was possible to leave our luggage in the hotel, which was very helpful, since our ferry was later in the day. That was really kind of them. Also, people commented that are no elevator, I want to stress that employee helped us with suitcases and having stairs didn't represent for us any difficulty. Bathroom is normal size, very comfortable, but shower is really, really small, so you need to be very careful not to break the plastic while showering. The location is indeed (as other comments say) close to the main road, which would not be the problem otherwise, but on vacation everybody uses quads and small, old motorbikes, which create really huge noise. We live generally in the center of town and do not mind traffic noise, but this was something else. We were closing the doors and windows, which gave us great sound isolation, but needed A/C, which was a bit old. At vacation, you want fresh air and open windows, but at least we got rid of the news. At any rate, it didn't affect our lovely stay in Paros.
- Sherri (9/5): Perfect location, great staff and nice rooms. - Great location! Nice room and friendly and helpful staff. The first night the bed was so hard we couldn’t sleep but they fixed this and then we had a very comfortable one for the rest of our stay.
- Laila (10/5): Exceptional - Everything about this hotel, from the warm, welcoming staff, to the location was perfect. It exceeded my expectations. The staff speaks perfect English so no worries. They didn’t charge me until I personally looked over everything and approved the charge. The hotel is just a 5 min direct walk to the main town/bus station/port. Nothing, great stay
- Oxana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Patrik (7/5): Comfortable stay and in a great location. Staff are very friendly - Great location. Clean and comfortable The shower was smaller than expected
- Silviya (10/5): Just perfect - Very nice family hotel.
Perfect location to move around. I love it.
- Dimtrios (7/5): Good experience but overpriced - Good location close to the Port, cafes and restaurants. Room was adequate and clean and staff were helpful. Expensive room and no breakfast included. Probably my fault for not checking the prices with other similar accomodation as it was peak season.
- Anne (7/5): Good - Perfect location Staff getting grumpy with us because their aircon didn’t work!
- Andrea (10/5): THis vacation was wonderful, this hotel make memorable vacation to all of us - Fantastic Hotel, incredibly convenient location to get around. But the people who work there, Babby and Maria, make the difference. They are very nice people with a warm heart. A special mention to the owners, we had a problem during our stay and they have been exceptional. People who make hospitality a mission. Highly recommended Impossible to find something
- İpek (9/5): Central and peaceful - Location is perfect. Silent yet very close to the center. Nice building & staff Nothing
- Fiona (10/5): Superb stay in Parikia - This beautiful boutique hotel is located in the heart of Parikia in a quiet area moments from restaurants, shopping, bars, ferries, museum and the beautiful church of 100 doors. My stay was made so special by the warm and fabulous staff - the lovely cleaning staff, reception, managers and their family who manage the hotel - all went out of their way to provide individualised and caring hospitality, including helpful advice about sightseeing and getting around the island. A minor issue with my air conditioning was quickly resolved on the first day driving a heatwave. The breakfast served on the terrace was very tasty and fresh with a good variety of traditional Greek items. The room was impeccably clean, bed was very comfortable and there was a small bar fridge and ample room for luggage. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and grand. It was a great experience to stay here. Thank you to all staff at Doukissa for a memorable holiday in beautiful Paros!! That I had to leave!!
- Christina (10/5): Our stay was awesome! People nice, facilities clean and location prime! - Very nice owner and managerial staff. Everything super clean and breakfast was plentiful and delicious. I can’t say enough about the kindness and hospitality of the people. And location is also prime near historical and beautiful church and near town center. We loved all of it!
- Lexi (10/5): Great hotel, superb location! Staff very friendly & accommodating! Highly recommend. -
- Angelo (10/5): An amazing experience at a centrally located hotel with a staff who went above and beyond in every way. Highly recommend - Great location. Right next to the museum of architecture plus only a 3 min walk to Tom’s of cages and restaurants. The owner/operators were amazing. They were so kind and willing to help in any way. I’d stay there again just because of the amazing staff alone. Loved it. Small TVs but who cares bc we’re in Greece.
