Guest Reviews
- Olivia (9/5): -
- Mark and Sandra (10/5): Nice to have a spectacular view - Peaceful. Fantastic views over the Yarra Valley and mountain ranges.
- Jessica (10/5): Peaceful, clean stay with helpful host! - Lovely, quiet and peaceful property. Clean, neat and tidy. Was a comfortable place to spend some time. When I went for a run along one Lilydale-Warburton trail I sprained my ankle. I called Leon as there wasn’t any one in the freezer, he popped over with a selection of ice packs for me. Thank you!!! They were super helpful. There were some creaks and fridge noise at night, but that was easily solved with earplugs (I’m a light sleeper),
Also, not having ice in the freezer (or access to a first aid kit) was a small challenge for me as I injured myself and was staying there alone.
- Thomas (10/5): - An excellent cosy cabin with a wonderful view and lots of cute wildlife. The facilities were great, the shower especially is very luxurious. The host was very accomodating with a late check out.

- Paul (7/5): Quiet and comfortable location close to Lilydale and Yarra Valley wineries and attractions. - Great location and very peaceful. Bungalow is suitable furnished and has every you need for a short stay. View over the hills is a feature. Communication with owner (Leon) was prompt and very good.

- Alec (8/5): Ideal for our purposes - The view is spectacular. The animals are a joy to watch. It is secluded but close to all amenities. Lovely walks and amazing sunsets. The couch is not comfortable. The shower floor gets slippery.
- Courtney (10/5): -
- Phillip (10/5): - Nice to Stay Nothing
- Bob (7/5): Great location - Beautifully positioned to enjoy the stunning view, whilst a small cabin it provides everything needed for a brief stay.

- Robert (9/5): Very pleasent and will stay again - The room is large, view out the window is very good looking at the mountains, large TV and the location is very good Parth from car to unit is a bit rough to walk
- Thomas (10/5): Would give it 11/10 if I could - A wonderful stay, just minutes away from Lilydale. Has all the amenities and was super clean. Also good value for money and has an amazing view. There is no public transport to the accommodation but that truly isn't the owner's fault.
- Robert (9/5): Stay was enjoyable, view from window very good - Walk from car to cabin was abit rough could be bad when wet
- Debra (9/5): Great stay. Would recommend to others. - Great location for visiting the wineries. Quiet with a great view out the kitchen window. Being self contained was a bonus. No hand towel or tea towels & a few pegs would have been handy.
- Alison (10/5): Convenient location, gorgeous view, clean and comfortable - Great location, gorgeous view and a nice verandah to sit and enjoy it from
- Tony (9/5): Superb -
- Peter (9/5): Superb - View and comfort. Well appointed Nothing all was good
- Haso888 (9/5): Superb - Quiet private location No dryer, only clothes airer
- William (9/5): Family trip tick - Quiet comfy cottage that was clean and in the perfect spot for us to attend a family wedding 5 kms away Just a little thing. We had no rubbish bin.
- Kelly (9/5): Superb - Great view, very clean, lovely and peaceful.
- Kerri (10/5): Picturesque, relaxing stay. - We loved the quiet setting. It was like our own little paradise. Magnificent views of the hills. Like looking at picture through the main window. Everything thought of for making a meal. Room was cosy warm, and the bed was very comfy.
Recommend for some relaxation and quiet time. Not really a major problem just a suggestion. A bigger bin bag as ours ripped and maybe a bin for cans/recyclables.
- Sasha (1/5): Be aware of this place - Well, where to start. After an hour long car drive, we arrived at an unclean accommodation that had a wet towel hanging on a chair, the bed looked like a boar slept in it and the dirty dishes were still on the counter. The place also reeked of a stale farty smell. Contacting the agency Pyika or something like resulted in nothing - got message saying something like "Oh. I'm so sorry..." Booking.com complaints have also resulted in pretty much nothing as well - leaving us to pursue further action against this predatory type of stay. We also chose not to stay a single minute further than to take some photos of this place.
- Kathy (9/5): Superb - The purpose of the stay was to visit family. The property was just around the corner and very convenient. The property was clean and had everything you needed. The property is towards the back . The weather was raining and required walking through mud to access. A few flagstones or pavers would have made it easier. The property is private and has a beautiful view.
- Teresa (9/5): Great location for our stay, warm and a washing machine to make use of was great - We supplied our own The muddy walk to the accommodation
- Elizabeth (6/5): Good stay. - The property was located close to the Main Street but far enough to avoid the loud street traffic. Loved having the bulls there also. Could have been cleaner. Counted 10 spiders in just the bathroom alone and lots of dust. Lots of cobwebs around. BBQ was also quite dirty so had to clean before use. Partner also allergic to cats and cat hair all over couch outside where cat would sleep for most of the day. Would have been good to know this prior.
- Bcys1961 (9/5): A lovely private cabin overlooking the Yarra Valley. - Great Location with amazing view over Yarra Valley. Sunrises with fog and hot air balloons floating by is spectacular. Feeding the bulls Brutus and Buster is a highlight. Nothing
- Ian (10/5): Perfect mini holiday in serene setting - Continental breakfast was a real bonus, great bread, tasty condiments. Kitchen was well equipped. Room beautifully furnished, comfortable bed/chairs/couch. Everything was just perfect - peaceful location, beautiful views, great hosts who went above and beyond the call of duty! And last but by no means least! Two rescue bulls - gentle giants Brutus and Buster who love bread and scratches! And of course Summer, one of the hosts friendly welcoming cats.
- Peter (8/5): Great spot, nice place, quiet with a fantastic view - fantastic view & very pleasant place to stay
- Sitti (10/5): Exceptional -
- Donna (9/5): Superb -
- Jennifer (9/5): Value for money, happy to stay again lovely facilities - Beautiful views, spotless cabin, new white goods..great to have continental breakfast provided. Very happy with location. Friendly felines were a bonus..definitely will recommend them Unable to get normal TV reception which could be our fault as not used to type of media provided
- Angela (10/5): Exceptional -
- Karen (8/5): Ideal, - Very handy to wineries.
Great outlook
- Mel (10/5): Exceptional - The private cabin allowed for relaxation in tranquility. So secluded, yet not far from attractions to fill your day.
The continental breakfast was much appreciated.
And all the modern features were fantastic!
- Alan (8/5): Very enjoyable. - Very quiet, lovely view of the hills: hot air balloons in the morning. Good kitchen facilities. It would be good to have a place to hang clothes.
- Jessica (10/5): Would be back again! :) - - Cosy, Great Views
Had everything we needed! Nothing
- Donna (10/5): Would stay here again! - Quiet and comfortable Toilet seat was loose
- Geoff (9/5): Enjoyable Stay - Beautiful setting overlooking farm and valley beyond. Very quiet. The cabin is comfortable and well-equipped. The kitchen facilities are excellent enabling us to cook most nights, which suited us. While the setting is rural, the property is only 5 minutes drive from Lilydale shopping centre and station, with excellent train service to the heart of Melbourne. We would have appreciated some hanging space for clothes.
- Marcel (9/5): Spacious unit with good amenities in quiet location with lovely views across the valley. - Very quiet, great views and very convenient location Didn’t have a wardrobe or any hanging facilities for our clothes
- Janine (9/5): Superb - Great view. Well equipped, clean and comfortable room . Very happy with overall experience here.
- Bevan (9/5): Superb -
- Susan (8/5): The second time I have stayed and would stay again. The negatives are minor really - Good location for my work in Lilydale. Private. Full kitchen with washing machine No hanging space for clothes. Only location to hang towels is small hooks on back of door. No toilet roll holder. Toilet seat too small for toilet and loose. Bed base has seen better days
- Martika-carla (10/5): Exceptional -
- Guardiano (9/5): Beautiful house and location. A great little getaway. - The location was beautiful. Great little cottage. Very clean, warm, lots of little extras. Access to the cabin was very muddy. It would be ideal to have a more solid base to park on and walk to the cabin to/from the car. Outside lighting could have also been better, especially at the main driveway as it was difficult to locate the property at night.
- Todd (9/5): Recommend, hope it is available the next time I come - Very spacious, nicely decorated with good facilities. Nice quiet, private location. Nothing major. No aerial for tv, so had to use tv apps. No toilet roll holder! No towel rails, just a few hooks on the door. Cupboard door catch left of oven broken. Needed a brush and dust pan to sweep the floor.
- Preet (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hallie (10/5): Working holiday - The location and views were amazing - so gorgeous to wake up to the mist on the valley and even got to see a flock of hot air balloons!
It was fully self contained with all kitchen appliances and utensils plus dishwasher plus washing machine and clothes horse. I stayed for 12 nights for work and it was my home away from home - everything I needed for such an easy stay. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've stayed in! Nothing
- Shane (9/5): Superb -
- Michael (8/5): Very good -
- Bhart (9/5): convenient location with great views - location, close to shops, wineries and has beautiful views none
- Anonymous (9/5): Great location to base ourselves for the activities we had planned around Lillydale and the Yarra Valley. - Great location, peaceful and stunning views.
Clean and tidy.
- Michelle (10/5): Mish - Location was great .we where doing hot air balloon. Host took photos for us when we did balloon 🎈 .would recommend this pla e went above and beyond .the view was spectacular. Nothing
