Guest Reviews
- Linda (1/5): Very disappointing. - The location. The property needed a deep clean, it smelt. There are obvious problems with the drains, because the shower was slow to drain and the whole of the property smelt terrible after a shower! The are some nice features but the place is very tired now ! The draining board was dirty & unusable! The kettle was full of limescale & made the tea taste horrible, so in the end we bought kettle. The bed had obviously been a quality bed but well used & a few springs stuck in you. The bedding & towels were clean. The position of the bed under the picture window causes problems. it was a single glazed unit and although the curtains were pretty the did not provide any insulation & with the cold winds we both got stiff necks from the droughts! we ended up buying a thicker quilt & moving the bed to get out of the draught. the views from the property are disappointing and not as shown, as the owner has stocked old wood & rubbish all at the back & side of the property not giving a very tranquil feel at all. In fact i cried on the Saturday night i did not want to stop at all i wanted to go home ! But as we had things arranged and paid for it we could not leave! i recommend that someone from your company stops there. It has really put me off booking with your company again as i don’t know how you can recommend this property at all!
