Guest Reviews
- Arnold van Hoven (7/5): We had a great time and the area is so beautiful - The house had a very good layout and spacious rooms, the bathrooms on the second level was small and cramped, good size kitchen and dining area. That the outdoor sitting area and the sauna was on the opposite side of the small road behing the garage. And would have preferred a spa rather than a sauna.
- Diana (10/5): Excelent house for a group of friends - The house has everything that we need, from coffee machines to tumble dryers and charcoal for the BBQ. We have been in this house three times, and we will be back for sure! The parking is difficult, but the owner advised us about it and gave us good recommendations
- Erika (10/5): - Clean, comfortable, and very spacious family home. House provided all the things we needed. House has a good location to be the beach and town . Parking is a little tricky, but not an issue for a good driver. Outdoor sitting space is available but needs a lot of cleaning.
- Sarah (7/5): Great being together as family - just a couple of improvements would have made property even better. - The house decor was well presented with themed rooms. Having 3 bathrooms was good for a house with 5 bedrooms. It was well stocked for parties of that size. Sauna was added bonus A couple of the beds were very uncomfortable due to springs - a mattress topper would have helped. Bedding was poor quality and let the house down. Parking is tricky, this isn't clear until booking. BBQ is limited, outside heater had no gas, no tv ( although advertised with one)
- Charlotte (8/5): Easy, no fuss access to property and very good location. Mattresses could really be better. - Really lovely host who provided additional information upon request. The property location is very good in that it’s not a long drive to Charmouth, Lyme Regis, Durdle door and other nearby attractions. Inside, there 3 rooms with double beds and one room with two singles, which was perfect for our group of 6 adults. Kitchen well equipped, nice big dining table for board games. The house is nicely decorated and there are three bathrooms, one of which is an en suite and towels were provided on all of the beds. We all agreed that the quality of the mattresses was a bit off, with loud clunky springs digging into your back and popping during the night if you tried to turn over. None of us had particular comfortable nights sleep which was really unfortunate and let the property down.
- Sabine (8/5): Very good - Lovely kitchen and nicely presented house. Amazing view. There were speakers and remote controls but couldn’t find any instructions so couldn’t play music. Bed linen could have been better quality.
- Soffi (10/5): Lovely clean place to stay at such good value for money which suited our groups needs - Perfect for our needs. View from the top bedroom was very picturesque! Mattresses were a bit springy - however feel bad saying that as it was such good value for money and tended to exactly our needs!
- Lysa (6/5): Pleasant - Kitchen well kitted out, lovely pictures, books and games.. good water pressure, lovely sauna and outside space (across from the house) and good value overall. Extraneous bulky furniture like a broken piano, and owner's old musical instruments taking up space in the 'fifth bedroom' - aka lounge - and a huge old desk and swivel chair in the twin room. Lots of other people's hair in the shower trap..needs a deep clean.
- Chris (10/5): A great few days away with friends in a a lovely house. - The house was exceptionally well equipped: it was clean, beautifully decorated and in the perfect place for our two families to meet.
- Lisa (9/5): Superb -
- Le (7/5): Good -
- Nina (9/5): Quirky, spacious, and well presented home - Quirky themed and well presented rooms, well equipped with 3 bathrooms and a large kitchen. Good central and quiet location, 5 mins walk to the beach. Easy parking (when you follow the instructions). Great views from the 2 front bedrooms. Easy to use multi- media projector for streaming with reliable WiFi. Hosts have made the most of the garden area which is well equipped but rather enclosed and we preferred sitting in a nearby pub garden overlooking the sea
- Declan (8/5): Very good -
- Diana (10/5): Excellent value for money. Beautiful and comfortable - The details in the house. The kitchen has everything that we need it. The parking space
- Cecily (10/5): Nice view of Chesil Beach and sunset - The sauna is a real treat and we enjoyed it. Every room has a theme. Parking at the house is not the easiest.
- John (8/5): Very good - Property near wonderful walks and all facilities.
- Tanya (10/5): Exceptional - The space and how each room was themed. The whole house was spotless and even provided board games for the kids. The neighbour was very rude and aggressive for no reason. We didn't park anywhere near him and stayed in front of number 5. This may cause future guests a problem.
- James (9/5): Fun holiday with friends, close to the beach in a gorgeous area - Very well decorated and stocked. The bedrooms are really nice, and the top had an amazing view The parking is challenging
- Trevor (10/5): Pleasant and comfortable. - Everything that we needed was supplied, plenty of fresh towels and ample hot water. Accessibility a little difficult for the elder members of our group, but managed ok with help from the younger members,no TV but plenty of other alternatives including board games available.
- Cunliffe (9/5): Superb -
- Edward (9/5): Worked really well for us, found everything to a good standard, and left it that way - All good, everything we needed Odd smell on arrival, soon cleared, otherwise absolutely faultless
- Ivanka (9/5): Superb - Really nice property, very clean and well equipped.
The communication with the host was very smooth. Not that it is an issue but we didn't know that the garden (which was great) is across the tiny road in front of the house. The parking in front of the house was a challenge but there are other places available to park near the house.
- Patrick (10/5): A lovely well equipped family house in a good location - Clean and well equipped. The guitar and piano was a bonus which kept us entertained. Stunning views from the top bedroom Parking is not easy
- Paul (8/5): Very good -
- Giedre (9/5): Great location, spacious house - Very spacious modern house, great location, nice view from the top room etc It wasn’t very clean, dust everywhere, roller blinds broken, no extra bin bags left, not all bathrooms had hand soap topped up, only 2 dishwasher tables left for the whole stay. Car parking next to the house was horrible. Very narrow street, however car park available within 5min walk…
- Ilona (9/5): Superb - House was spotless and owners have taken the time to consider everything a family could need for their stay with some real lovely touches like the piano guitars sauna and bbq area. House was spotless and owners have really taken the time to consider everything a family could need for their stay with some real lovely touches like the piano guitars sauna and bbq area lots of fresh comfy towels and bedding and kitchen was fully equiped the only thing that could be addressed is the very musty smell which hits you as you walk in the house and stays on your clothes.
- Stanly (9/5): Superb -
