Guest Reviews
- Kenley1997 (9/5): - Nice airconditioned room near the centre of Bandung. Very comfortable stay. When it rained hard there was water in the hallway, also there was no one at the reception when we wanted to check in
- fathiya dhini (10/5): ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for buminakura - i love all about my first stay at buminakura super clean super comfy super homey super strategic super enjoy all off the stuff and property at buminakura💕 the resto in renovation

- Sheila (10/5): Great hotel, quiet location - Quiet location in a residential area but not far from restaurants and cafes. About 30 minute walk to Braga Street (or a very cheap Grab ride). Staff are very sweet and accommodating. The room was comfortable and the pillows were the best we've found in 4 month's travelling! Breakfast only has 3 choices and you order the night before. We had the rice porridge each day and it was excellent. Nothing.
- Rizka Rahayu (10/5): Spacious room perfect for family - The location is very close to many restaurants. The room is spacious and very clean at an affordable price The parking space is not really big, enough for 8-10 cars only
- Robert (9/5): Absolut gute Unterkunft! Jederzeit wieder!

- Suyadi (9/5): 3D2N Stay in Buminakura - This is my 3rd stay in Buminakura. Located in a quiet residential area so you will get that peaceful vibe. Walking distance to Kopi Moyan, the Deli Bakes, Prima Rasa, and other Bandung delicacies. Beds are super comfortable, rooms are clean, they even provide free snacks (refillable daily) in the room. Staffs are warm and helpful, service is excellent. The water flow from the shower is a bit weak, might want to work on that.

- Kurnia (9/5): - Had a very pleasant stay here! The location was very good, near some of the popular “must visit” places in Bandung (cafe, bakery, coffee shops, etc). The room was nice, not too big but very clean and smells great. The AC was cold (very important because Bandung can be very hot during the day). They also have coffee shop in the ground floor and served a wide range of coffee, pastries, and meals. The staffs were friendly and very helpful. The only downside was the property was near a big and busy road (LLRE Martadinata or Jalan Riau) and the room was not very sound proofed. So noises outside could be easily heard, especially during night time.
- Ellen (9/5): Heel sfeervolle, knusse, leuk hotel. Met leuk hip koffietentje beneden. - De sfeer. Heel relaxte. Schoon.

- Dameria (9/5): My Go-To Hotel In Bandung - Location, comfort, cleanliness, coffee at the cafe, the rooftop. Nothing.

- Yudistianty (9/5): - it's location with not so big hotel. it's a comfy hotel with super easy check in process. I had a connecting door for my family. bed is good, air conditioner good, hotel amenities also complete. its location is the best. it met my expectation. The famous salt bread resto is next door, walking distance to Makmur Jaya Roastery Coffee and Primarasa. nope. overall good

- Tuti (10/5): aku tiba di hotel sudah sekitar jam 7 malam, security yg bantu check in. checkin nya seamless banget, ada lift, dan suas - kamar luas, bersih, wangi. sangat susah nyari kamar sebagus ini di bandung nooone at all. semuanya bagus
- Muhammad Zulhusni (8/5): -
- Stephanie (10/5): Cute place on the edge of town but walking distance to great food places - Clean, modern and comfortable in a quiet location
- Veras (10/5): - Really nice placed located near a lot of good restaurants. Stuff was pleasant and helpful and in general it felt like being home here -

- Ahmad (8/5): Delightful stay at a nice hotel marred by withholding of passport as collateral - I had a certain level of expectations coming to this place on the back of reviews in booking.com and my small regret was that I got a 1st floor (level 2) room. The room itself was good, clean and comfortable. I'd come again to stay at this place only if....now read about what I didn't like 👇 I loved staying at this place but probably won't come to stay here again ever if they insist on holding on to my passport as a security throughout my stay. I can understand they want some assurance on damages to the room and I'd be happy to give them my credit card or cash of say, USD1000 (or more if they wish) but asking to surrender my passport is absolutely ridiculous.
I politely argued with the reception lady that the hotel shouldn't be doing that but she said it was hotel policy. I'm a genius category booking.com user and I wouldn't jeopardize my (good) standing to cause damage to any hotel I stay. If I hadn't paid for my stay I would have probably walked away to find another hotel to stay. You never give away your passport unless it's to the police, immigration or the likes. A passport is a valuable document - what if they lose it (God forbid) and could not return it to me on the day I check out?
Again, I loved the place but if this policy stands I'll search another place next time. Thank you

- Melanie (9/5): Fijn verblijf in mooie buurt - Leuk ingericht hotel met koffiebar, gelegen in mooie wijk.
- Jaynthi (9/5): Good and comfortable. - Clean, newish and in a quiet street but full of cafes. When you walk in the aromatherapy smell is wonderful and good toiletries and amenities. Asked for hair dryer and I got it.Even the hotels own cafe Kopinakura is good. The food menu has also been extended to dishes such as fried rice and pasta. Didn’t realise you had to put a sign outside your door to get them to make up the bed which should be standard service for cleanliness. However since I was the only one staying for two nights it was ok.

- Martin (9/5): -
- Arne Wieberdink (9/5): - Great hotel, clean, lovely staff, great facilities, wifi not always blazing fast, but hey.. it's holliday. The mosque was not too loud for Javanese standards. The coffee and breakfast are 6/5 stars, a dare you to find better coffee and pastry in a hotel. The area around the hotel has alot of nice coffeeshops too. Must stay area for a coffee geek. Maybe the nearby road was a little loud for us, but we had earplugs, because the mosques in Java start their prayer quite early. So no problem, its part of this beautiful Island.
- Suyadi (9/5): Superb - Located in walking distance to Prima Rasa Kemuning, The Deli Bakes, Kopi Moyan and Batagor Abuy. It is really worth the price, even more. Clean, comfortable bed and pillow, complete amenities. They even provided prayer mat in every room. Nothing
- Aimi (10/5): A Peaceful Home Away From Home - Buminakura was like a home away from home. The minute my bestie and I set foot on the premises, we felt like we had arrived at home and we both agreed that we could see ourselves staying there for a lot longer if we were ever to come to Bandung again. We loved that it is located in a quiet neighbourhood, yet still had good restaurants nearby, and it was also very close to Mizu Reflexology where we had the most amazing reflexology and massage session. The only downside was the hotel does not offer breakfast. There is a cafe downstairs where you can eat but the menu is rather limited with a few ala carte items, more of a coffee hangout place than an in-house cafeteria with a breakfast buffet spread.
- Siobhan (9/5): Superb - Very comfortable, well-lit and spacious room. Bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in. Nice hot shower, soft towels, and room well arranged. In a quieter area where you can walk for food/drinks. Noise from the road and no one at the desk when I checked out.
- Tengku (9/5): i love buminakura!! definitely will repeat!! - i loveeeeee the coffee shop!! and really love the rooom! very spacious and comfortable. lighting was on point to do tiktok hahah. the only thing need and improvement is the cleanliness of toilet. the shower wall need to be cleaned properly once in a while to avoid dark moles. other than that is great! the shower wall need to be cleaned properly once in a while to avoid dark moles. other than that is great!
- Sharon (8/5): Very good - Comfortable room Not really near to amenities but not really an issue as Grab taxi is always available. No bathtub.
- Diane (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fitri (10/5): Will choose this hotel again when visit Bandung... - Located at city center, walking distance to many "happening" places .. More snack variety at the coffee shop would be better
- Nazrin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Katya (9/5): New property, full of nice eateries and coffee shops where the local hipsters go - The architecture and decoration
The size of the room
The smart TV
The area, hype x N/A
- Shenna (10/5): Comfortable stay - Everyone Just the elevator cannot accommodate more than 3 people. And also when you’re given 2 cards, the other one barely works
- Zj (8/5): Very good -
- Lisa (8/5): great hotel ,nice ambience, slightly disturbed by construction noises -
- Muhammad (8/5): Very good -
- Prem (9/5): Superb -
- Mara (8/5): Aside from the elevator and ants problem, the hotel is nice and comfortable. - the location the elevator could not carry more than 2 people, it keeps on saying overload, and on the last day, one of our bed had a lot of ants on it that my friend was not able to sleep. Even if we did bring food into the room, the ants must have come from somewhere, you need to find its nest so it won't happen to other guests.
- Dameria (9/5): A Perfect Place to Rest - I love:
- Everything is super clean
- Complete bathroom amenities
- In-room mini pantry, fridge, microwave, cutleries, plates and bowls, along with the dish soap.
- location
- Serene neighborhood
- good and super comfy pillows and bed
- cafe downstairs that serves good coffee
- helpful staff
- bright and cozy room Things that I don’t really like:
- Parking space (limited space)
- The fragrance of the linens. It was rather too strong for me.
- Faiznur (9/5): Location wise near to many cool cafes. -
- Ria (8/5): Very good - Love the clean room and Excellent service It was a bit noisy since my room faced Riau st., but the staff kindly offered to change my room.
- Engliana (9/5): Superb -
- Dyah (9/5): Superb -
- Khalid (10/5): Been to a bunch of countries and stayed in different hotels but somehow this one felt like one of the best I have stayed - Turtle themed hotel. Room was super comfy as well. Loved the fact that I can just grab a coffee at the ground floor and bring it to the rooftop and sip on it with a view of the city and the mountains. It’s a pretty nice and comfortable rooftop too.
- Ard (8/5): Decent and modern hotel at a good price - The hotel offers modern and clean rooms at very decent prices. The set up is different from most hotels. A cofffeebar downstairs, not a lot of service hotel wise. Nice rooftop terrace.
- Kok (9/5): Great stay! Enjoyed the ambience. - Awesome surroundings, laid back atmosphere, lots of good cafe and food. The inhouse cafe is also very welcoming.
- Adila (8/5): Very good - Located in residential area so it’s more serene. It’s also near a good coffee shop & popular bakery.
The room is spacious, clean and what’s best it really is smell nice. I really enjoyed staying here
- Safii (10/5): Enjoyed our stay! Definitely will repeat! - Loved the room and how it was also connected to a cafe. It's location is also very good as it's nearby other cafes for change of scenery and variety. The place is also very clean and everyone is very helpful, nice, and welcoming.
- Ummi (10/5): Exceptional - The easiest 5 stars. I booked a deluxe king room.
If you are travelling in Indonesia, you have to understand that the definition of clean might be different from the west. It‘s not surprising if an expensive accommodation might not be fully cleaned. However in our opinion this hotel is flawless.
Dear buminakura, please raise the salary of an old man who takes care of cars in parking area and also does the receptionist job at the same time. He also took care of our belongings very well. He did a good job.
- Trisnahardja (10/5): Old Money Vibes Hotel For Relaxation and Escape - The hotel is really hidden n cozy , superb and reallyy has this vintage vibes The space of the parking space is really small

- Irine (10/5): This hotel is a hidden gem. I didn't expect to have such a good facility with good price. - The room is clean, well maintained, very comfy and top notch amenities The smell of napthalene in the bathroom.
- Mior (10/5): Exceptional - Loving the vinyl showcase and coffee downstairs. You can also find random turtles around the property. Nothing

- Gabe (10/5): The best hotel I’ve stayed at in SE Asia - 10/10 stars across the board! This place is truly a hidden gem of a hotel. I wasn’t expecting that much given the reasonable prices, and while it’s no 5 star hotel, it was one of the best hotels I stayed in during my 3-4 months in SE Asia.
My room was much bigger than most other places here. Clean as well and no smell in the bathroom. Felt like it had been redone recently because it was all new construction.
Plus the little cafe in the front was very cute and served coffee and food. Pillows were maybe a bit too soft for my liking but that’s really it. Nothing bad
- Hyeonsu (10/5): Exceptional - All that things were perfect. Very clean and large room
