• Pierre-Jean (10/5): - Very nice homestay in a old building, we felt confortable there. The room is big and the celling is very high, which makes it look more spacious. The owner is friendly. There is a kitchen we can use and free tea too. We would come back here for sure!

• Maeva (8/5): Great experience in Cairo - The owner is a genuinely kind and welcoming man who went out of his way to make me feel at home. From the moment I arrived, he was warm, attentive and always ready to help with anything I needed. The location is excellent, very central and safe, making it easy to explore the city. While the amenities are a bit dated, everything was clean and well maintained, providing a comfortable place to relax after a day of exploring the vibrant streets of Cairo and the majestic Giza Pyramids.
• Bahaa (9/5): Good for work and short stay - The room was a good value, quiet at night, and allowed for comfortable sleep. The high ceilings and spaciousness added to my comfort. The shared bathrooms were one of the things that caused me discomfort during my stay.

• Basheer (8/5): Best Value for Price - The location is excellent situated in downtown Cairo with easy access to most major attractions, yet far enough from the busy, noisy parts of the city to offer a peaceful stay. However, the mattress and pillows could be more comfortable, and the washroom would benefit if upgraded taps and a comfortable commode.

Highly recommend this place in Cairo for the great value it offers!

Last night, when I should have waited for my sleeping train until night, he allowed me to stay in the living room. I could feel the warmth from him. The room quality is good, but the restroom is not so nice though. The toilet and shower booth are not divided.

• Victor (7/5): Good - Good place to sleep while exploring old Cairo. Rooms were quite noisy at night, but I'd suspect many hotels are a lot worse. Front door locked at night and cant be opened without key, even from inside.

• Sombunall (10/5): Quiet and peaceful place in the heart of Cairo. - By Cairo Downtown standards the room was very quiet, apartment very clean, kitchen useful, location perfect, 10 mins from metro station, 30 mins walk from Bab Zuweila, lots of cafes as well as Drinkies in the area. When I said quiet I meant quiet by Cairo standards, in fact you can always hear traffic from the nearest street in the room.

• Mourad (9/5): Perfect ! - I stayed in 7 hotels around Egypt and this one was THE BEST! The hotel was super clean even the shared bathroom and the kitchen, it smelled good, and Khaled the receptionist was always willing to help. He really made me and my mother feel welcome. The beds are comfortable (but not the sofa, it’s ok to sit on it but not sleeping) and every area of the hotel has air condition. There’s even a lift, a fridge, a water heater, free tea, a hairdryer and toilet paper… those amenities are usually available in hotels abroad but I didn’t find them in other hotels around Cairo at this price. Many restaurants and cafés are located around the hotel. The metro station is just 10mn of walk away. Security is also perfect with many banks secured by police next door. Most importantly Khaled’s smile and sense of hospitality will make you feel at home ❤️ Everything was great !

• Ibrahim (5/5): Ive beem in hostels but this one is Dangerous to stay in. Too cheap materials and bathroom doors without locks. 0 privac - ⭕️⭕️ Warning watch out the cameras in the property are not only used for security the property manager/host (not the owner) acted polite in the beginning he was sweet and warmly welcoming and sort of kind. I rarely rate or even comment on property through all my 15 years traveling. As I booked the room for me and my colleague at work. But single thing that creeped me out and felt a danger the host does as interferes people privacy and its way inappropriate. When i saw cameras in the living room and area that connect the room and i felt safe as an extra security. But one day i was back from Cairo Food Week Festival late at night. ⭕️⚠️ The next morning the host sees me and says “ You didnt sleep well. I saw you last night through the camera back late at 2am”. So the guy does a creepy thing and watch people and other guests during the day and night. And he was happy saying such things. Thats shameful and lame and dangerous the he was talking was fine for me but that had me requesting to shrink my staying there. In addition the language barrier with English he didnt how know to communicate with her as she struggled to communicate with him while she had sincere health condition. Even though some of the furnitures are extremely cheap and in webad condition. when i got in i was thinking of giving it an 8 rating because of the way he greeted me. But i got surprised how an unashamed of doing and saying that to me as guest and visitor to Cairo. I hope i was wrong but that literally what happened. And people needs to know that before they get them selves in that. I liked high ceiling only.

The price is very reasonable and the price/performance ratio is very high!4. The landlord is very kind, so I spent ten minutes writing this review.Summary: If you want a cost-effective trip to Egypt, then I highly recommend this place

• Francisco (7/5): Very good for the location in old Cairo. - Really enjoyed the location, being very close to the centre of old Cairo, and how spacious and clean the room was. The owner was flexible with the check-in time and allowed us to leave our bags after check-out. Bathroom, more specifically the showers, weren’t as clean as we hoped. The Owner didn’t speak English which was not ideal but manageable through translator.

• Uk (9/5): Peace and quiet on the Nile. - The rural island location was wonderful with an amazing view of the Nile. It was quiet and peaceful after the noise and craziness of the big towns and cities. We enjoyed catching the little ferry back and forth to Aswan. It took about 5-10 minutes and cost 10 Egyptian pounds each way (about 15p). We liked everything but I can imagine the pathways across the island could get quite muddy if there was any rain.

• Jannis (10/5): Our home in Cairo - The staff is amazingly friendly and we felt at home. Also the place was calm and clean, what we needed in a busy city like Cairo. All wishes have been heard and cared for. Last but not least it is a professional setting, where we had privacy and this was also shown by actions and respect. From the beginning everything is wrong, the name is not displayed, you cannot use the elevator to reach the property, it is very cold in the room and the cleanliness leaves much to be desired, there is no sheet for the duvet and you have to cover yourself with dirty beds!!

The Internet is working stably, there is a boiler. The rooms have windows and high ceilings. The apartment is conveniently located near a market, a metro station and a cafe. There are few places to store things in the room.
