Guest Reviews
- Jillian (7/5): - The house had everything you needed. On 3 levels. No hand rail or anti slip mat for the bathroom on the middle level. Oven and grill were not clean. We didnt use them! Some of The kichen utensils were covered in the last occupants food..couldnt use the drawers in the wardrobe in the twin room as it was broken. General cleanliness was ok but deffiately needs a deep clean in places. And it should be stated in the listing that it is on 3 levels and not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. My husband has COPD and he really struggled with the levels..
- Sarah (10/5): - Lovely and comfy Nothing
- Pamela (10/5): Great place to explore a lovely part of Wales and very welcoming host. - We really loved the property. Well equipped, well located and great value. Milk in the fridge and jam tarts waiting for us! Not a huge issue (at all) but most negative thing was the on street parking. We always found a space though.
- Lilla (10/5): - The place had everything and more than we could ask for! We greatly enjoyed trying a few games from the wide board game selection. The amazingly summarised info booklet provided (that included not just info about the rental, but great tips about the local area as well) was very helpful! If you're looking for a nice rental in a great location in Caernarfon, look no further!
- Susan (9/5): - Comfortable and homely
- M (5/5): Nice lovely place -
- Johanne (10/5): Lovely house, comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. - Clean and well equipped, good location too. Upstairs bathroom design could have been better
- Amanda (10/5): Fabulous house a few minutes walk from Caernarfon centre. Everything we needed was provided, very well equipped. Can’t w - Very well equipped. Lots of room Nothing. Everything was great

- Gavriliuc (10/5): - This accomodation came to rescue for us when we couldn't accomodate on the other one booked.
The lady was lovely and very prompt. We. called her just after booking it and it was very prompt and we were able to accommodate straight away. The house was big enough for a family of 6. the kids enjoyed the game room and lots of games available. Also very close to city centre and lots of shops and quite everything you need.
- Gareth (7/5): Good value and well located but let down by a poor upstairs bathroom and very noisy toilet! - The house had everything you need and was warm and well located. Parking was no issue on the road and entry to the property was very easy. A quick walk into town and easy to get out to explore north Wales. Downstairs bathroom was nice and the shower upstairs was powerful. The lounge was comfortable. Good value. The upstairs bathroom was not ideal, in particular the toilet. It would just make a very loud noise at random times when you went to use it and the toilet seat was not affixed. I tried to fix it back but to no avail as it kept slipping off. The toilet noise was particularly annoying for the bunk room bed next to it as it meant that if anyone used the toilet in the night the toilet would make a very loud flush sound regardless of whether you wanted to flush it or not (we didn't want to as it is a very loud flush!). This made a restful night for the top two rooms very difficult as you felt you were either anxious you would wake someone up or be woken up by this noise. To make matters worse, when sitting on the toilet the lid would always be falling itno your back and the sink to wash your hands in afterwards was so small and awkward it was almost impossible not to splash on the floor. If it were not for this toilet situation then the property would be a 9.
- Ann (8/5): Very nice town, very easy access, as a family we enjoyed the trip. - Well situated, well equipped for a family games etc, Bed linen was not very nice all odd, also did not smell fresh, seems like it was not washed with any detergent, downstairs bedroom needs some TLC.
- Llogari (10/5): -
- Robin (9/5): We really enjoyed our stay at Johaan,it was just right for our family - We liked it a lot.
It had a well equipped kitchen. Comfy sitting area with large TV. The extra toilet and shower upstairs was really convenient (no pun intended)😊
It’s in a good location. Great access to north wales, Anglesey and Snowden ECT. Not much really. a few little niggles but nowhere is perfect
- Jane (5/5): - Proximity to the town
Joanna was great and really helpful
Beds comfortable Toilets
- Sabo (10/5): -
- Barinder (8/5): Very good -
- Beryl (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely well equipped house, good location, felt very at home Nothing
- Claire (10/5): Modern, clean, spacious place with all you'd need. Fantastic base exploring Snowdonia & Anglesey - Everything was clean and new. It had everything we needed. Highlight for me was the main bathroom having a bath and bluetooth and light mirror! So cool. Short walk into town for food, Castle etc and great base for visiting all the sites of Snowdonia. We loved being close Anglesey too, fantastic base. Place had everything you needed and more, PS3 was a crazy extra :) and Johaan was responsive when needed. What more could you need? :) thanks for a great place, so modern and clean. Would absolutely come back and stay here for our next snowdonia trip.
- Tamsin (10/5): Lovely house perfect location for exploring. - Lovely and clean, had everything we needed and the host was quick to contact us when needed. Close to all amenities in the lovely town too. Us and our dog slept so well, comfy beds and quiet location. Took a little getting used to the layout but not a criticism just our tired legs after long days out!
- John (8/5): Very good -
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alexander (9/5): Superb - Comfortable.
Good Lounge
Good bathroom Toilet cistern needs attention (Continues to drain after refilling) easy fix so more reporting an issue than a 'not like'
- Dylan (9/5): Superb - Excellent house, really great design, kids loved the games room and I loved the basement kitchen and lounge Dog mess in the back garden was the only slight negative, couldn't fault the house.
- Kate (9/5): North wales is beautiful ❤️ - Lovely well equipped house, clean, tidy and cosy.
The stones in the garden make it a bit tricky to spot dog messes.
- Julie (9/5): We had a lovely stay. Everything that we needed. - Comfortable. Location great. Living room being downstairs. More just getting use to it, rather than not liking it.
- Visscher (8/5): Perfect location and spacious - Spacious and everything we needed was there
- Swindell (9/5): Superb - The location was dreadful but the house was lovely.
- Janet (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ruth (9/5): Spacious house with everything we needed for a fun weekend - It was spacious, clean and central for what we needed
- Walmsley (8/5): Very good - A lovely town house, lovely comfy beds, well equipped kitchen and clean throughout, lots of little things have been thought about a games room with a playstation and lots of board games for children, also a little welcome pack when you arrive with tea coffee milk and Welshcakes with jam and marmalade was a very nice touch.
We were very appreciative of the host giving us early access as we arrived early, all in all a lovely stay in caernarfon.
- Branwen (8/5): Very good -
- Elizabeth (10/5): Perfect Family Christmas Break - As we arrived on Christmas Eve, the hostess had given us early access to the property.
There were so many little touches that went above and beyond our expectations, a Christmas welcome pack that included mince pies, wine, beer, and brownies as well as Welsh Cakes and an assortment of coffees and hot chocolate.
There was a Christmas table cloth and subtle decorations and battery candles throughout the house, we particularly liked the sensor lamps on the landings
We didn’t use it but the games room with DVD’s and a games console was well equipped.
The Kitchen had everything we needed to cook a full Christmas dinner and a dishwasher to take the load off the washing up 🥰
We found the whole house clean and well decorated, plenty of towels and toilet roll , everything we needed.
The house was warm and cosy, perfect for our Family Christmas
Excellent location, less than 10 minute walk from Town Centre and Castle There was nothing we didn’t like but due to the property been across three floors with quite steep staircases it might be problematic for those with mobility issues
There’s no allocated parking but we managed to find parking for 2 cars without too much trouble
- Susan (10/5): nice stay for an extended family. - A few minutes walk from the centre of Caernarfon. There for 6 nights and ate out every night, nice choice of restaurants a short walk away. couldn't always park outside the house, but always managed to park within 2 mins walk away.
- Carrie (8/5): A good location to stay as a family - A good place to stay as a family. Close enough to walk all over Caernarfon. Could use a deep clean, but was fine.
- Dales (8/5): Great stay - Location was great
Free parking easily
Layout of house
Facilities home from hone
User manual very useful Bedding was very creased
(But that could be me being fussy)
Marks on ceilings/walls where there was mould previously would of been better painted over marks
- Adam (8/5): Very good -
- Angela (7/5): Good -
- Sally (8/5): Very good - Excellent location for getting into town. Comfortable and well equipped There are some problems with cleaning in the building. The cover on the kitchen table was dirty and there was fluffy round the skirting boards in some rooms.
- Monika (7/5): Good -
- Simone (7/5): Good -
- Szwedo (9/5): Superb -
- Jo (6/5): Perfect location - The property was in a great location , such quaint sea side! It was a lovely size and great value for money. It could have been cleaner there was stains on our bedding and lots of hairs in the bed!
The property need a deep clean and fresh bedding!
- Alison (9/5): Superb -
- Grace (9/5): The house was lovely, very easy walk into town to shops and the castle etc. It fitted all our needs perfectly 😊😊 - Everything in the house was lovely, the beds were comfy and there was so much space, we especially loved the Bluetooth mirror in the bathroom! It was nice to have a selection of games to play. The outside area with the fireplace was lovely when the weather permitted it Ideally we could have had some more dishwasher tablets and some washing up liquid but that was nothing major
- Siky (6/5): Ok! - The place was clean, pleasant, and easy to locate. Parking was conveniently available near the property. They thoughtfully provided plenty of board games, a high chair, and toys for kids. The kitchen was well-stocked with dinnerware, cooking appliances, and more. The rooms were decent and comfortable. The holiday home spanned three floors, with two bathrooms located on the 1st and 2nd floors. Unfortunately, the shower head in the 1st-floor bathroom was not functioning, so we had to use the taps instead. Additionally, when both bathrooms were in use, the 2nd-floor bathroom had no water due to low pressure, which was quite challenging for our group of six. The host only provided two toilet rolls for six people, which was far from sufficient. There were also no kitchen towels, and the hand wash left in the kitchen was a very small amount, wasn't enough for our stay.
- Ioni (7/5): The property was Ok, in a good location for the town and area. - Good amount of space, deceptively so from the outside. Families very much thought about with the games room space and amenities. It wasn’t especially clear when booking the property it was over three floors and might not have booked it if it had, due to mobility of a member of the group. However the house was well appointed with most things thought of for a short stay.
- Catherine (9/5): Lovely house in good location - Great location a few minutes' walk from town centre, and Caernarfon also handy for Anglesey, Portmeirion, etc. House was comfy and generally very clean, easy to feel at home. There were only two of us staying but even though the house had plenty of room for more people it didn't feel like it was TOO big for us. Access via keysafe box made it easy to check in and out while also making it easy for one of us to go out while the other stayed in. Would definitely stay again if back in Caernarfon. Only a couple of minor things: either the house didn't have oven gloves or we couldn't find them (otherwise well-equipped); and some of the dishes needed cleaned before use (which I know would be the responsibility of previous guests, but could be worth the housekeeper checking).
- Rebecca (10/5): It’s a short walk to pubs and shops and the adventure parks are 10 minutes away. - It is over 3 floors so we had plenty of space to spread out as a family. Everything was clean and organised and easy to find. They provided lots of little extras that they really didn’t need to do but it made the stay easier. There’s a lot of stairs with it being over 3 floors we definitely got our steps in having 2 kids and a dog we always needed something that was upstairs x2!
- Sean (10/5): We had a wonderful time exploring North Wales and the house was the perfect location for a base. - The house was comfortable, spacious and extremely well equipped. It was only a short walk to the town centre. Parking was a little tricky at times.
- Gaynor (9/5): Superb - Easy to phone owner when needing information. Home was modern clean and very comfortable.
- Natalie (9/5): Unexpected hidden gem - The house was very spacious, lots of little extras like the log burner in the garden, which has plenty of wood already chopped, ready for us! My son and nephew spent the last evening toasting marshmallows on the fire!!
There is also a well equipped games room for rainy days!
2 bathrooms which was ideal for a family of 6😍
The house was clean tidy and well equipoed The only downside is the surrounding neighbourhood. The house is situated on a quiet terrace street, but backs on to quite a rough housing estate, where we did see lots of 'interesting' characters, lots of young people drinking in the park at the end of the street, which was a little unnerving. This is no fault of the host, but may want to be mindful if travelling alone, or single parent with young children
- Abigail (10/5): Exceptional -
