• Angela (3/5): - The room itself was clean, spacious and as per the pictures The location was awful. Middle of large council estate. Some lovely neat houses. Some looked like a war zone. Very noisy people next door. I had travelled for 4 hours and was looking for a quiet place. It was a warm evening but it would have been impossible to open windows. Unfortunately I had to find alternative accommodation elsewhere so double the cost.

• Rosemary (8/5): Comfortable stay and good value. - It was very comfortable and excellent value for money. The hosts were very helpful and pleasant. We could park outside the room. The location, in the middle of a housing estate, was unappealing but in fairness there was access to a well kept back garden. The en-suite was small but functional.

• Neil (1/5): The accomodation was unacceptably and legally too cold (around 12 C). - Very little. Cleanliness was adequate. The room was unacceptably cold. The room (converted garage) had clearly not been occupied for several days. Check-in was 5pm and one small heater had only been switched on shortly before our arrival. The heater showed a room temperature of 12 C ! There was no hot water from the tap in the en-suite despite leaving the water running for several minutes .. no hint of any warmth. The en-suite itself was even colder than the room. There was another heater in the room which was swiched on, but after an hour of sitting in our thick coats there was little change in temperature. We gave up at this stage and decided to leave. To cap it all there was a note saying that internet would not be available until after 10pm !! According to governments rules .. "For overnight accommodation, the general health and safety minimum is around 18°C (65°F) for general comfort and to prevent health risks"

• Alison (9/5): Once inside, apart from no wifi, everything was perfect - I was warmly welcomed. It was a bit like going into the Dr Who's Tardis, it didn't look at all promising on the outside but inside the accommodation was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and delivered to me in my room. It is a converted garage so I was able to park right outside the entrance door. The promised wifi was not available and sounded as if it hadn't been available for some time. I had wanted to use this and feel I should have been informed of this before I arrived. The only clue when I arrived was the house number. The house was in darkness and didn't look welcoming. It took a while to convince myself that I was in the right place and, as a female travelling alone, to find the courage to try the door! I think I would have left, and tried to find somewhere else, it hadn't been for people's reviews.
• Paul (10/5): Location can be a bit off putting as it looks like you are just staying in a garage, but once inside what a great room. - In side the property was lovely and the hosts was really welcoming and friendly The only thing I would recommend the property do is maybe install a fridge to keep your drinks in. Also it would be worth switching the heaters on before your guests arrive as it took a good couple of hours for the room to warm up
• claire (10/5): - The garage refurbishment is excellent very nicely presented with tv table and chairs nice comfy bed with bed side tables. A kettle provided with mugs and glasses also two pastries as a welcome gesture. Parking is off road secure parking and in the morning ray brought us across from his house two amazing breakfasts in the summer one of the doors opens up onto the garden which you can sit in Nothing

• Craig (8/5): A TARDIS of Comfort—Surprisingly Spacious and Wonderfully Warm! - My wife and I were in town for work and stumbled upon this charming property on Booking.com.. The listing looked promising, and the added bonus of breakfast included in the price sealed the deal. Tucked away in a quiet residential area, the location caught us a bit off guard at first—but thanks to the warm guidance of our host, we found it with ease. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the host’s lovely wife, who showed us to our room—a cleverly converted garage that had been fully insulated and soundproofed. The space runs entirely on electricity, and once the heaters kicked in, even we soft Southerners were perfectly cozy! Breakfast was a delightful touch each morning—thoughtfully prepared and served on a tray, making our three-night stay feel that much more special. If I were to offer one small suggestion, it would be to reposition the bed for a better view of the TV. But honestly, that’s a minor detail in an otherwise comfortable and well-appointed space. All in all, we had a wonderful experience. The hospitality was warm and genuine, and we’d happily return if work brings us back this way. Huge thanks to our hosts for making us feel so welcome! location was a little isolated, so you would need to be driving to get from place to place...other than this the property was move then suitable for are stay

• Andreea (10/5): Absolutely stunning place and amazing host. - The property is spot clean and the host is excellent plus you can stay outside in the garden and even make barbecue,to be honest it is like a luxurious stay plus you will have quality breakfast with natural orange juice brought to you and can have it in your own comfort.And the place is sound proof so you can be as loud as you want and there is a smart tv and when i say smart it means expensive not like those hotel cheap ones.I would book again when in the area.I also want to mention that quality of the towels that i haven’t seen before,is the bed linen and the pillows along with the duvet and the soft bed is just amazing and you can tell they have paid attention to every single detail when they decided to manage that space.I was really impressed and believe me i am hard to impress ❤️I wish i could upload a video of the property to have clear views of the place. There is nothing not to like about this stay but if they will add a jacuzzi place in the garden then the location will be top for that area.

Would have been a TEN - exceptional if the electric shower was a bit more powerful but that's just MY personal preference. Nothing!

Ray was very pleasant and make you feel welcome even offering to make breakfast at 5am, if needed, as I was checking out at 6am due to work commitment. Absolutely loved the place, just one recommendation, perhaps consider the location of the TV or move the bed around
• Kerry (10/5): A little hidden gem close to the Carlton Civic Centre - A little hidden gem, a bit sceptical on the approach, but we were pleasantly surprised and it suited our needs for an event at the Carlton Civic Centre

Additional bonus of a delicious free breakfast that was brought to our room at a time to suit us. Ray is a very hospitable host. The biscuits on arrival were a nice touch. QT is a hidden gem disguised as a car garage in an unassuming housing estate. It suited our needs of visiting family nearby. Clean, modern en-suite facilities. Extremely friendly host. Delicious breakfast

• Anthony (10/5): Comfortable Surprise! - Worksop is probably not on most people's travel list but we needed an overnight stay prior to visiting Sheffield. The accommodation is attached to a house on an older, unremarkable housing estate. It consists of a very large bedsit with armchairs, coffee table, large TV, a comfortable, warm bed and plenty of storage. There is an attached shower room/toilet. Two electric heaters provide ample warmth. Keycode locking provides security. We arrived early but had phoned ahead and were encouraged to come at anytime. Ray, our host, welcomed us and showed us round, leaving us to our own devices but assuring us we could text/call or knock on the door if we needed - he was extremely friendly and amiable. We texted our breakfast order to him before 22:00 and he brought it to us as arranged 08:00 on the dot! Breakfast was well cooked and delicious. We plan to explore this area next year and will certainly book here again. Great place and thanks a million Ray. Sadly the hosts are Ray & Liuda but we didn't have the chance to meet Liuda. !!

Nothing was too much trouble and the host even offered to cook me a breakfast at 4am as I had an early start during my stay. There was nothing I disliked, but would like to have ironing facilities provided in the room for a longer stay.

It was nice to have a desk to work at in the evenings (I was travelling in business). The hosts were amazing! Ray was so friendly and was so happy to help with anything I needed. I had to be up early for work but he still insisted that I had a cooked breakfast before I left. I am so glad I did as it was delicious! I would definitely recommend the place to stay

I rang the telephone number Ray confirmed it was the correct place. We walked into what we thought was a garage to a beautiful bedroom with an ensuite. It had the wow factor. We couldn't ask for anything more. Ray had provided us with everything we needed. The breakfast next morning was excellent, cooked and delivered by Ray. We would highly recommend it 100% we will definitely be back. Thank you Ray for making us extremely welcome we will definitely be back. It was lovely meeting you. Thank you. . There was nothing to dislike. Exceptional

• Christopher (10/5): It’s not a conventional location but what a surprise when you get inside. - The English breakfast was well cooked and enjoyable. The hosts went above and beyond what would be expected even down to helping me with a problem with my car. We encouraged to use the garden space and enjoyed sitting around a fire chatting with Ray the main host. Lots of extras and goodies provided in the spacious room. It was an exceptional stay. There was nothing we did not like.
