- Sophie (3/5): - The room itself looked quite good, if the privacy and cleanliness problems would be fixed, it could be a pleasant accommodation. The trash can in the bathroom was full when we arrived. There was hair in the shower and on the bed, which makes you question if the bedsheets were freshly cleaned.
The sink in the bathroom was dripping the whole time.
Also the privacy was not good. You could not lock the door to the room and could not fully close the curtains. Due to the room being on the ground floor, you could see inside from the street directly.
- Carol (6/5): Would benefit from some improvements - The homestay had everything we needed and was clean and tidy.
The owner was responsive and easy to communicate with. He has an unusual name that I never saw written down anywhere (eg sms, Whatsapp), and consequently I could never remember it. (It would be nice to include the name in correspondence.)
The homestay was quiet, other than some hushed movement early in the morning.
The homestay is opposite a lovely park, which we quite enjoyed wandering through.
Parking is on the street outside the homestay. Sadly, the bed was quite uncomfortable. The mattress was hard and the springs creaked everytime I turned over. The pillows were old and flat. I would suggest that it's time for a new mattress and pillows.
We also didn't appreciate having access and egress only through the back lane, although our initial entry was through the front door. The surface of the lane is rough, broken tarmac with lots of puddles when it rains, and it's where residents on both sides leave their bins lined up. When leaving, the host had expected us to bring our luggage out through the back, down the wet and muddy lane, down a side street and back to our car parked out the front! We chose to drive our car down the lane and pick up our luggage from there, but it wasn't a pleasant area to navigate, even in a car.

- Sonja (8/5): Very nice for the price. - The room looked lovely with nice furnishings. It was clean. The man was friendly and kind. Chocs and water provided. No kettle. Shower with weird gate. Towels optional. Broken toilet seat. Chairs on stairs. No mirror in main living area so getting ready difficult More pillows needed.
- Lara (7/5): - Nice, quiet area with a park nearby. Very friendly and nice host. We received a welcome treat. Some elements for better comfort could be added.
- Deb (6/5): Good for a short stay but a few tweaks could make the accommodation more comfortable - Host kept in communication with us and met us when we arrived, which was helpful as you have to go round the back of the property to access the room. The room was in a good location for us as we were near to the park for Victoria parkrun. The bed was comfortable and the shower in the wet room was good. There is no lock on the door - I would not have felt safe if I had been travelling on my own. Apart from water, there were no room refreshments provided ie kettle and tea, coffee, which I feel are basics.
The host asked us if we needed towels, which was a strange question, and then we were only given one hand towel and one bath towel.
There were no spare pillows - only two on the bed.
The sofa was not in a great condition and the blinds let in light at night as they didn’t close properly.
- michael (7/5): Sorry but wont be returning - i was in the area for work purposes the room did its job for a place to sleep . once i finally got access the owner seemed a nice person . my mistake was not reading the info properly this room does not have a secure bedroom door this room does not have a TV this room room does not have a hospitality tray the sofa in the room is in poor condition . in my opinon its over priced for a room with a bed and poor condition sofa . also a notice was there if you use the washing machine its a £5 charge . if the owner reads this please put a lock on the door and a put a tv and a hospitality tray in the room people are away from home and a little home treats would go a long way to keep people happy .
- NAFEES (8/5): Good place for short term rental - Good place Good and comfortable place

- Karol (7/5): - This place was nice, very clean and the bed was big and comfortable. Really quiet area too. The only disadvatage was the lack of privacy. We couldn't lock the door.
- Yvette (8/5): Host was charming and very helpful -
- Oliver (6/5): -
- Minh (5/5): Good location but the room facilities and privacy must be improved before letting out for renting. - Location of the house is good, convenient walking distance for nearby restaurants and shops (about 1 mile walk) The room has no privacy as the room door has no key and is directly accessible to other rooms (downstair communal room and upstair bedroom). Entrance is not convenient for easy access (at the back, route is poorly surfaced, would be tricky and dangerous on a wet or snow day). Inside the room the light is poor, the bathroom is not up to standard for tourist accomodation. There is no chair or desk to work, except only one sofa.

- Jennifer (10/5): A quick family visit to Glasgow. - A cosy place to stay. We were well attended to by our host. Very comfortable. Nothing. It ticked all the boxes for our needs.
