Guest Reviews
- Kev (10/5): A lovely cottage in a lovely town. - The cottage was clean and tidy. It was in a great location for all the social amenities in the town and also for walks in the area. Liked the social area on the top floor which had a great view over the countryside. Good value for money. Well worth a visit. Nothing
- quentin (9/5): Excellent 2 night stay - Location / layout . Nice and cosy . Would go back / recommend to friends Not sure about the aga style cooker. Microwave not the easiest
- Annabel (9/5): -
- Andrew (9/5): Full of character, comfortable vacation stay in a nice central location for walks and Sedburgh town. Good kitchen, bathr - Lovely vacation stay, plenty of space with two lounges, nice and central to Sedburgh town. A walking map of local area would be a nice addition
- Sarah (8/5): -
- Trish (10/5): Beautiful. Very relaxing and Jules was really helpful and quick to answer questions. Would definitely recommend - Clean, well equipped, homely, a little bit quirky. Beds were lovely and comfortable and the upstairs lounge is gorgeous to sit in. Great village location and plenty of walks on the doorstep. Nothing we didn’t like just a few tips - if you have a dog then there is no secure outside space but there is plenty of space to take them out for a walk. There’s no welcome pack so take a few basics. Spar is a very short drive though.
- Chris (9/5): Lovely stay at Langdale, pictures don't do it justice -
- Leonard (9/5): Very enjoyable - Breakfast na. Location good Instructions on how to use the cooker
- Cathryn (9/5): - The cottage is located on the centre of Sedbergh, and near the cafes, eating places, shops and good walking trails. The house was cozy and comfortable and the en suite on the 2nd floor is the height of luxury.

- Tricia (10/5): Lovely family weekend away in a beautiful setting. - The property had absolutely everything we needed, was a gorgeous three storey house with lots of room. Location was perfect for walking in and around the area. Nothing
- Carolynne (10/5): Three of our party flew in from the USA, this was part of our trip and we would happily fly back to stay here again. - Everything about this property was better than expected, charming house, plenty of room for 5 adults, also whoever gave the property a low score for internet perhaps did not know how the internet works, two of our party worked internationally, hosting zoom meetings and calls with no issues. The area is fabulous, lots of lovely pubs within walking distance all with excellent food. Such a beautiful area to drive around , we wanted to stay longer, and the sheep ……..so many sheep :) they were a delight to see.
Jules was extremely helpful and accommodating, with really quick response times,
Thank you for a wonderful few days,
Carolynne. Nothing negative about this property it was super.
- Maria (10/5): - The house is charming and it is spacious for a family of 5. The kitchen is well equipped. We enjoyed a meal together and playing board games after an afternoon hiking trip. It was helpful to have hiking routes booklets with maps and directions that were provided in the blue binder. The stove is an old fashioned one and it takes some practice to learn how to use it, but we did not mind. Cooking might take a bit longer there.
- Diane (10/5): Home from home in Sedbergh - Very cosy cottage with comfortable beds and two good sized bathrooms. Great location too. Nothing
- Ash (10/5): Brilliant - Lovely and much bigger than it looks. Struggled to work the oven but loved the challenge

- Dawn (9/5): Lovely cottage with excellent facilities and location - Excellent facilities, comfortable, cosy
- Catherine (10/5): Perfect cottwge for countryside holiday - Great location and really lovely cottage
- Jenny (9/5): Superb - The location was perfect, being on the edge of a great little village with its pubs and quirky bars. The cottage was v cosy and v well stocked with everything you need for the 4 nights stay we had. We found it very clean and a proper home from home with homely furniture, beautiful decor, candles etc and bed linen.
There were lots of books and games and a TV room to add to the cosy quieter space downstairs. Bathrooms were spotless and ideal with showers and a bath in one.
The kitchen was extremely well stocked with store cupboard essentials, and plenty of crockery and selection of glass ware... all of which you wouldnt normally see in a rental property.
100% and a real credit to the owners!! We'd recommend and stay again! Our only criticism were the soft and uncomfortable mattresses. The double bed would definitely benefit from a new one, sorry.
There was plenty of crockery but only 5 dinner knives but as there were just 5 of us so we were OK.
- Max (9/5): Superb -
