Guest Reviews
- Mugdha (9/5): Comfortable stay - Apartment was very neat and clean. We arrived with a car so having free parking at the property was a benefit. We cooked our own meals so having a fully functional cooktop, chimney, utensils was very handy. The toilet on the ground floor does not have a water tap which is a bit awkward and limits you from using the downstairs toilet. If a faucet tap can be added to that toilet then that would be very handy.
- Liza (10/5): - Perfect location
- Caroline (9/5): Great stay in a lovely house - Lovely house very clean and comfortable
Close to town Centre only 2 mins walk
Terry and Lisa were very quick to respond to any communication … Nothing

- margaret (10/5): Great Indian Restaurant near by. Loved the Hotel in town. Near my family. - Central location stairs. I'm used to living in a one floor house.
- Lynn (8/5): Ideal accommodation for visiting family who live on the area - Location, the bathrooms, the heating when needed, the key pad, comfortable beds No television. Creaking floorboards upstairs, cooker needs replacing.
- Colleen (8/5): Enjoyable but think for the price a TV would be a given - Location is perfect for travelling around Mayo. A short walk to bars and the few shops and take aways No TV. I reported a broken toilet seat that wasn't fixed despite an assurance it would and the washing machine doesn't work
- Kenneth (9/5): -
- Wibke (9/5): Super! Sehr zu empfehlen. -
- Angela (10/5): Lovely house, great location 👍 - The house was lovely and very clean.
Everything you needed was there, very well equipped.
I would just say that a television would be nice for evening time, but it didn't really impact me as I was there to go to Knock.
For the likes of children, they enjoy television and it means they can entertain themselves with the likes of Netflix There wasn't anything I didn't like.
The location was excellent im only sorry I took ill on the second day and had to get an ambulance in the early hours of the morning
- Billy (9/5): Superb -
- Andrew (9/5): Superb - Lovely place nice location
- Fiona (7/5): Good - Lovely little house in Kiltimagh, right in the town.
- Tony (9/5): Superb - Fortlands was largely well equipped and comfortable for our stay as well as being well located for where we intended to visit.
It is a stone's throw from the village centre but a very quiet location.
The rooms were comfortable and it was very competitively priced.
We had to unexpectedly request staying for 3 more nights due to the ill-effects of Storm Darragh and the landlord Terry could not have been more helpful and accommodating.
He always responded promptly to any questions and was happy to call or be called.
He couldn't do enough for us.
Would happily use again.
- Finbow (10/5): Exceptional - It was fairly sizeable property close to local amenities. The WiFi was a little slow, but this is a relatively minor complaint.
- Kennedy (10/5): Enjoyable and cosy and close to knock shrine. - Every thing that was needed was there.Beds very comfortable and very cosy, over all very enjoyable time,Wii be there again.
