- Jennifer (9/5): Nice alternative to a hotel - The location is close to famiy for us and convenient to Rotal Palm Beach, Wellington, WPB, and the Acreage. Three bedrooms and two baths is a good size and value for the price.. Everything was clean. The kitchen is newly renovated with new appliances and well appointed with things you might need to cook. A keurig coffee maker with coffee pods is stocked along with some emergency oatmeal and peanut butter. Baths are also newly updated and included fluffy white towels and some toiletries in case you forgot anything important. The beds were very firm and extra blankets were in the hall closet.The host was responsive via in-app messaging and also text messaging. She accommodated my request for
hypoallergenic pillows, and made check in/check out very easy. My suggestions to make the stay even more comfortable: much less/no air freshener and switch to hypoallergenic laundry soap on towels and bedding (no scented dryer sheets or fabric softener since it could be a problem for someone with allergies or asthma. Add deadbolts to front, back and secret door. Like at a hotel, once inside for the night you want to lock up. It's an older home and in the process of modernizing. the tile floors had lots of chips but they were very clean and it's purely an esthetic observation. Fix the master bedroom door- it's warped and doesn't close at all. Also it's advertised with outdoor seating bit there isn't anything. The photo showing a table and stool outsude is actually the same dinette from the kitchen that was taken outside for the photo. it would be nice to have sone dedicated patio seating. All just suggestions and ymmv but hope it helps. There is also an attached efficiency or residence(s) on the property. It doesn't really affect the home since it has a separate entrance and just shares the wall and yard but it should really be disclosed in advance so the guest knows there will be other cars parked in the driveway and possibly the garage or maybe the garage is converted to another living area? I'm not sure we were only there one night and it was dark at check in so I didn't explore what was happening with the garage. I did have questions though as there were potentially other people staying in 1 or 2 other places attached to the home and our doors only locked with the doorknob lock and had an access code on it. In hindsight I felt a bit unsafe in that situation even though everything was fine in the end and I'm sure they're nice honest people. Just disclose the other apartments and add deadbolts for security in the future.
