• Martina (9/5): Aufgrund der zentralen Lage neben der Basilica ideal um die Stadt zu Fuß erkunden. - Die Lage der Wohnung ist super. Sie ist ruhig, weil sie nicht direkt an der belebten Straße, sondern im Hinterhaus. Menschen mit großen Designansprüchen wären vielleicht enttäuscht gewesen, aber wir haben in der Wohnung nur genächtigt. Die Betten waren in Ordnung. Die Kücheneinrichtung für unsere Bedürfnisse ausreichend. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Plenty of options nearby for shops, bakeries, and restaurants, as well as convenient access to metro lines. The apartment is very spacious, and the small terrace is perfect for taking a relaxing coffee break

It was comfortable, clean and quiet. Our host was accommodating and easy to communicate with. We would stay there again! It's important to note that the 2nd bed is located within the common area.

• Colin (10/5): Excellent apartment in great location. - Beautifully appointed apartment in a fantastic location. You can see the Basillica dome from the front door, and once out the front of the building you are only metres from it. Every household item for your stay was provided. The bedroom is huge with super comfy bed. Great wardrobe storage with loads of good quality wooden hangers (no dodgy plastic efforts here!). A supermarket is virtually on your doorstep, which is open early to very late.(but was really busy!) Communication from Gabor (host) was excellent and he was very accommodating with allowing us to store luggage after checkout. Loved everything about the apartment.

• patricia (10/5): Highly recommend for a visit to this beautiful and interesting city. - Lovely large, quiet, elegant bedroom with lots of storage space. Easy to use, well equipped kitchen. Great array of shampoos and shower gels. Superb location! Easy walking to all the sights( 5 minutes from the Danube. )Great transport links including cheap 100E bus to airport. Surrounded by bars and restaurants. Helpful host. We were able to leave our luggage on departure day. Too much colour grey in the kitchen diner😄

In der Nähe viele Restaurants, Supermärkte und Sehenswürdigkeiten sehr gut erreichbar! Vermieter sehr sympathisch und zuvorkommend!!

The host was quick to communicate and make sure everything was okay. Even though you are in a busy area, once you get inside you don't hear a thing. Bathroom was a bit small, but manageable

We were able to walk to everything we wanted to see and do, and we felt extremely safe here. Several different choices of restaurants and bars were close by, as was shopping and grocery stores. The Basilica was right outside our door. The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Easy Instructions for self check-in were provided by the owner and he offered several suggestions for food and activities in the area.

• Irish (10/5): the best place to stay, i highly recommend it. - the best location- just a stone-throw from St. Stephen Basilica, plenty of shops and restaurants around, Lidl just few steps away and Gelato Rosa just right across the road. The location is very accessible and close to transport links, and above all, price is unbeatable. The host and owner, Gabor, is very efficient in providing everything you need to give you an easy check-in access to the property, and inside the property we’ve got all the things we needed - from toiletries, coffee machine, and all the bits and bobs you’ll need for some quick cooking if you fancy some quick home-cooked meals. The property is spacious. And the memory foam mattress is just such the perfect treat every bedtime, superbly comfortable like I just want to lie down on it all day! Overall, what a lovely, homey feel, very comfortable and quiet location despite being right at the city centre.

Supermarkets, pharmacies, and banks are all within walking distance. The apartment is quite spacious & there is everything you need. In addition, it was very quiet and idea for children. A very good sized balcony to relax on after a long day's walking around the city. Beds were too high for young children. • Boglarka (10/5): Spacious, centrally located, excellent apartment - Location - Located in the heart of the city, right next to the Szent Istvan Bazilika, the neighborhood is lively and safe; the M2 metro station is at a 5 minute walk, there is a Lidl on the street, also plenty of breakfast and restaurant choices right at the door step. Even though it is in the city center, and is quite busy at night, having windows to the courtyard made it really quiet. Check- in process - It was really easy process to check-in and out; the host, Gabor, provided photos and easy to follow descriptions how to find the place. Room - It was just like in the photos, a spacious, clean apartment with all the amenities (hairdryer, iron, steamer, full kitchen, etc) you would need; we really appreciated the amount of storage and hanging space in the rooms and bathroom as well. Finding cold water in the fridge was a nice surprise. We would have liked a trash can in the bathroom.
• Nishita (10/5): Fantastic apartment and host! - This was one of the best host experiences I have ever had on a city break. The host was amazing, really attentive and took great care to make sure we were happy with everything. The communication from the host was excellent, with very quick responses to any questions I had. The host even let us check in an hour earlier and messaged when the room was ready. The apartment itself is in a fantastic location, only a 5-10 min walk from all transport links and amazing view of the Basilica. The apartment is in a quiet neighborhood, there is a lift that takes you up to the 3rd floor. Picking up the keys was very easy and done through a lock box, all the instructions to get into the property were provided and we had no issues. Everything in the apartment works very well and the beds were very comfortable. The bedroom is huge. The bathroom is a good size. The host provided a lot of amenities for us in the bathroom and the kitchen. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you would need to cook with. There is a safe where you can store your valuables. The check out process was very simple too, just return the keys in the lock box. I accidently took one of the keys home with me by mistake and the host was very understanding about it. Nothing, everything was great!
• Kristine (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment was quite comfortable. I loved also the small balcony it has. The location is perfect. Just several steps far from Basilica. You can walk to Parliament and Opera (7-13 minutes walking). Plenty of supermarkets, cafes and restaurants can be found near. What I also liked is that although the apartment is situated in the centre with a lot of tourists outside, with the Basilica bell ringing loudly, in the apartment you have silence. So you can rest and sleep without problem. I will definitely prefer this apartment for my next visits to Budapest. I must also mention that the communication with the householder was also perfect! Well, I would ask you to change the coffee machine as it’s not working well. Instead of coffee we got blurred water. But still it’s not a big deal. We had coffee outside :) Thank you 😊

Self checkin instructions easy to follow. Bed very comfy. Bathroom had large shower cubicle and powerful shower. Range of toiletries were provided. Owner clearly understands what visitors would like. Great storage space including large wardrobe with lots of hangers, numerous electric sockets in just the right places, well equipped kitchen etc. Location great too, just a few steps from St Stephen's Basilica and a short walk into centre. Close to shops cafes etc. Highly recommend and would stay here again if in Budapest. Nothing, one of my favourite apartments.

Shops and many entreatment in walk distance around, but inside the apartment you don’t hear anything what happens around.

The location is excellent, could not be better, literally 30m from the Basilica. So, if you want to wander the Budapest center this is a perfect starting point and a great hub for a short visit. There are a lot of restaurants and bars in the vicinity. However, it is secluded and not noisy, so you can get a good night's rest. The apartment is spacious, and clean, and contains all amenities in the kitchen and the bathroom. The communication with the host is good and prompt. I highly recommend this apartment to all travelers. Not much, really. As I wrote the good sides above, there are really no major drawbacks or issues.

The host was nice enough to let us drop off our luggage before check in time, so we were able to enjoy the city in the morning already. we were traveling with my mother in law, and I chose this property because it said 2 bedrooms. The second bed was in the living room, so every time we needed the bathroom or wanted something from the kitchen, we had to walk past her bed. Which is fine, if you know what you’re getting, but from the description it sounds like you get 2 bedrooms. Also, there was a vase on the table perched on top of a stack of 10 place mats. As you can imagine, it was berg wobbly and fell over, and it chipped. We were charged 75€ for this. It was our fault, we did break it, but if it’s such a valuable item, why is it perched on there so precariously?
• Cushla (9/5): Superb - The location was excellent very close to St Stephens Basilica and the Christmas Markets. Lots of restaurants and cafes to choose from close by as were supermarkets. There were many options for public transport to get around both sides of the city. We were also able to catch the bus to the airport a short walk away. The apartment was lovely and had everything we required for our stay. Host has very good communication. The only thing we missed was a toaster!!
