Guest Reviews
- Diana (10/5): - Host was so lovely very private really enjoyed our stay thank you Nothing

- simon (9/5): Good base for Shropshire walking and cycling - Fully appointed and convenient N/a
- Ward (9/5): Superb -
- Pauline (9/5): Superb -
- Simon (10/5): Exceptional - Quiet, secluded, beautiful countryside
- David (9/5): Cosy little getaway - Lovely location and the cottage has clearly been done out with love and attention to detail, good size rooms tastefully done. Perfect for a getaway. We stopped here at late notice after our house move was delayed, snowed while we were there so was wonderful to wake up to and made the evenings in front of the log fire feel even more cosy. Great value and wouldnt hesitate to recommend The metal bed could do with tightening up (a bit squeaky) and the bedding felt a little damp, possibly because the heating hadnt been on, can be forgiven as we did book last minute.
- Kate (10/5): Peaceful cottage getaway - The cottage is lovely and cosy, very peaceful location. Bedroom is very comfortable. Huge bath and separate shower.
- Toni (6/5): Pleasant -
- Graeme (9/5): Superb -
- Nicki (10/5): Suprisingly spacious, very relaxing. - The bed is amazingly comfortable. Hard to find the WiFi settings as not in obvious place in the welcome pack but other than that, a wonderful place.
- Nick (9/5): Superb - Excellent location for visiting Whixall Moss NNR and Llangollen Canal to see the wildlife. Cottage comfortably furnished, warm and clean, and more spacious than I realised from the photos.
- Annette (9/5): Very comfortable clean and quiet. A good location for visiting the surrounding area. - Comfortable clean and cosy.
Close to my husbands family and childhood and teen years growing growing up in this area. Such a pity the views from inside the building looking out is very limited due to high walls and hedges.
- Kate (10/5): Peaceful getaway - The cottage was lovely, a really good peaceful location. Huge comftable bed, big bath and separate shower. The host contacted me prior to arrival with all the details to check in. We had a really relaxing break away. Would definitely book again. We loved everything
- Luna (7/5): Good - Nice big bath
Quite
Great walks close by Only 4 logs provided for the burner
TV very old, does not support apps I.e Netflix
Kitchen tea towels were dirty
- Simon (10/5): Relaxing and enjoyable. Close enough to some lovely towns and villages. - Lovely cosy cottage with excellent furnishings and equipment. Was lovely and warm on arrival and immediately felt comfortable. Nothing, was perfect for a couple and definitely a cottage we would consider staying in again
- Maria (9/5): Cosy couples retreat - Spacious bed, good parking, lots of homely touches and very comfortable Only minor that we wanted to light the fire but there were no fire lighters, maybe just leave one or two to get started and then guests replace?
Bed frame a little fragile.
- Philip (8/5): Very Nice. Shame about the weather but that was no ones fault - Quiet, no noise, no traffic No signage at end of drive and no milk on arrival for a cuppa. Ist job was to find a local shop
- Jules (7/5): Good chatacterful cottage in a very rural location - Lots of character to the place, the kitchen was well equipped and furniture was comfortable There were spiders and mosquitoes, some of the pots and pans were dirty in the cupboard, floors and carpets could have been cleaner
- Blake (10/5): Exceptional -
- Baggott (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was perfect thanks for having us xx Nothing
- Huskins (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect and cosy just what was needed for a short break away Nothing
- Thomas (10/5): Had a lovely relaxing and extremely comfortable stay for a couple of nights. - The property oozes quality from the moment you enter the front door with solid oak window frames, doors and flooring none of which you can appreciate on the photos on line. The size is also deceiving as it looks quite small on the photos but is actually extremely roomy and spacious. Very comfortable lounge furniture and the bed was super comfy and super king size too! Unfortunately didn't get the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of the log burner or underfloor heating but can imagine it would be even more snug and cosy when it's colder outside. Recommend a visit to Alderford Lake and lunch at the Marina Cafe at Whixall Marina was lovely. Nothing
- Susan (10/5): Fantastic - Big comfortable bed, kitchen had everything and own enclosure for our fur babies
- Helen (9/5): Lovely stay in lovely Narnia. - The property was very quaint and comfortable. It had everything that we needed. It was difficult to find but if you followed the instructions and rang when you were nearby then all was good.
- Ward (10/5): We had a very enjoyable few days away in a beautiful part of the country. - A super place to stay for a short break. It was just what we wanted. Can't really think of anything
- Debbie (9/5): Great place to relax. - Narnia was very comfortable and well equipped. Nothing, but could be tricky to find due to the rural location.
- David (10/5): Just idyllic and perfect for us - Just a lovely quiet retreat we loved it Nothing
