- Lechoslav (1/5): -
- Diego (1/5): Shouldn't be on Booking - The people are somewhat friendly But everyting else is unfortunately a mess. This place shouldn't be on booking.
- Ana (8/5): Good conditions for budget travellers - 1. Staff was very helpfull when I couldn't find the location of this place on google maps. The girl guided me through watsapp messages and she got back to me immediately after I texted her. The guy was kind as well.
2. The room was small, but clean and cosy with air conditioning and balcony, comfy bed. Managed to retake back my missing sleeping hours at this place.
3. Close to the bus station and city center, close to supermarkets, bakeries, fast-food and bars.
4. Safe place to stay in a private room as a female solo traveller.
5. Definetly worth the price. 1. Lack of the kitchen
2. No toilet papers on the toilet and it wasn't so clean. But no smelly thanks God.
3. Not so strong wifi connection.
- Maksim (10/5): Exceptional -
- V (2/5): So pathetic - The only positive is the location, it is not so far from the bus station The host wasnt responsive, i need to call him, didnt even mentioned the property correctly, i got a messy bed and the room is pathetic, it look not the same as in the photo. Dont book here.
- Diego (10/5): Short and cheap stay in Podgorica. - Good location. Friendly staff. Very good option if you don’t want to spend much money.
- Rale (10/5): Exceptional -
- Samuel (5/5): The staff members were nice and the location is great but the hostel is very untidy! - The staff members were nice and this hostel is in an excellent location. The hostel is difficult to find, the beds were uncomfortable, the hostel was very untidy, and the hostel was very noisy.
- Zunair (10/5): Exceptional - The hostel was quite good but the cleaning was not being done regularly.
- Kirill (1/5): Very sketchy bordello - Nothing To begin with, the staff does not speak English. okay. 0 information, 0 instructions on how to get to this place. When you arrive at the place, you can't find where the hostel is, because there are no signs and signs, and you walk through the floors of the building and knock on the doors to ask if it's a hostel. The room I entered doesn't match the one in the photo. The environment of the people who live there is very strange, they have been living there for months and working in Montenegro, but they are certainly not tourists. Smell of canalization in the bathroom. They have a main building where the owner lives and there is some kind of barn on the territory where people live for a long time. There are normal rooms in the main part. But I do not know why they decided to settle me with those who live there for a long time. There are no storage rooms, no lockers. I was very lucky that nothing was stolen from me. A guy from Russia who lives there for a month told me that some things were stolen from him. In general, I do not recommend this place to travelers, it is better to find something more expensive.
- Jahjagic (10/5): Exceptional -
- Thanyaporn (1/5): Terrible place ever in my place fake photo - I like nothing do not believe them the picture is fake Dirty place / smelly place
- Victor (3/5): Poor - Bathroom is terrible
- Shah (1/5): Horrible stay - Friendly staff. I just realised the room was totally different with the photos, even the toilet. The property I stayed with terrible smell and it has not been cleaned for a long time!
- Qingning (6/5): Pleasant - Worst experience Hygiene,bed smells.
- Charlie (4/5): Disappointing -
- Ana (10/5): Exceptional"! - Real Crew of the staff. Location perfect for fast travels, really nice scenery to from bus/train station. I would say approved as beautiful intelligences people. Thank you.
- Bassel (1/5): Completely bad and wrong place to stay - Just the location is good Everything wasn't good, no clean bed , no bedsheets, no normal pillow, also no pillow cover for the pillows Wich they gave, in pictures is Cool, in real is sh**t completely, no blanket
It was completely very very very bad , nothing like pictures at all
Shame on Booking to sort this in the website
Please no one stay here
- Muhammad (1/5): Bad - Location They were so insensitive that gave me a bed full of bed bugs. I had bug bites all over my body.
Not recommended.
The same happened to a fellow traveler as well.
- Pinto (3/5): BED BUGS EVERYWHERE. AVOID, FOR YOUR HEALTH. - Lovely, helpful staff and owners. Good people. Stinking bathroom, thus making the apartment smell. Many bed sheets you wouldn't give to animals. The bed bugs have ruined my travels, as not only am I in pain, but hostels won't accept me when they see my bites. BUGS ARE EVERYWHERE. Owners are aware and apparently working on the situation, but should never have accepted bookings while is place is literally CRAWLING with bugs.
The owners girlfriend is completely crazy (looks high) and comes to the apartment frequently shouting nonsense. Not safe.
- Md (10/5): Exceptional -
- Radević (2/5): Very poor -
- Nicholas (1/5): DONT STAYHERE _ DISGUSTING - ZERO BED BUGS ITCHING AND SCRATICHING ALL NIGHT
- Vojislav (5/5): Passable -
- Hossain (10/5): Exceptional -
- Juliette (3/5): Poor -
- Aleksandar (8/5): Very good -
- Svitlana (1/5): Bad - Bed bugs. Really dirty and smells bad. Photos are not as the reality is.
- Håkan (1/5): To be avoided - Location It was dirty, noisy, no/poor Wi-Fi and worst of all...The bed bugs.. I was bitten all over the body. I strongly recomend you to avoid this!
- Levs (1/5): The worst hostel I’ve ever stayed in - Cheap. Good location, about 5 min walk from the bus station. Owner seemed kind. I don’t even know where to begin. This "hostel" is by far the worst place I’ve ever stayed in. Honestly, it’s probably better to sleep on a park bench than to spend a night here.
The bathroom is an absolute disaster—extremely dirty and old. I felt uncomfortable just looking at it and ended up skipping a shower entirely. The floor was constantly wet, and toilet paper was scarce.
The owners seem to have no regard for the health and well-being of their guests. They smoke cigarettes inside the building, and all the smoke drifts into the rooms. The smell was unbearable, and I couldn’t sleep at all, despite having a flight early the next morning.
Aside from the awful smell, the room was also unbearably hot with no air conditioning. I also had the unsettling feeling there were bed bugs, and it was obvious the bed sheets hadn’t been changed in a while.
There were no power outlets near the bed to charge my phone, no Wi-Fi, and no lockers to store your belongings safely.
I didn’t have high expectations since it was the cheapest option available in Podgorica, and I just needed a few hours of sleep. But low cost shouldn’t mean zero hygiene and disregard for basic safety standards.
I strongly recommend avoiding this hostel. It’s worth paying an extra 5 to 10 EUR to stay somewhere clean and safe.
- Marco (3/5): Bed bugs. They tortured me - The "staff" was kind and welcoming. The room was big and the apartment is in the old town. The bed was full of bed bugs! They bit me everywhere. I can understand the price is very low but you can't welcome someone in such a dirty place. I mean, that bathroom could expose you to illnesses.
- Luca (3/5): I managed to sleep but it was not good. - Not much other than I got a bed to myself Staff lied to me and tried to force me into a mixed dorm when I booked a private room. They were doing construction with power tools underneath me until midnight. The bathroom was mouldy and the shower didn’t work properly (it was leaking into a bucket that overflowed). There was no wifi when it said there was on booking.com. The sheets in the mixed dorm they tried to force me into were not washed. I got surrounded at checkout by a few of the “owners” and they seemed rude. I felt uneasy.
- Eddie (8/5): Very good - Good kitchen area. House is converted into a hostel and they have done long term guests. No Locker facility.
- Valeria (8/5): Very good -
- Kambizzz (3/5): Poor - The room has AC The room door handle did not function properly.
The room was not vacuume cleaned..
The place and the room smelled like cigarette smokes.
The bathrooms (both bathrooms) do not have door locks. So, you can not lock the bathroom doors.
Water standing on the bathroom floor.
Bins provided in the bathrooms were not emptied. So dirty tissues and used ladies' products were all on top of the bin bin and around it piled up.
The guy who checked me in tried to charge me twice for city tax. I showed him the reservation telling him the city tax is already included in the total price. Rather than apologising for his dodgy act, he said "this is not what I see from my side."
- Margaretha (7/5): Good - Comfy bed with large room Noises front of our room from outside
- Annik (2/5): I felt really uncomfortable at the hostel because of the dirtiness and people. - The room was dirty and so was the shared bathroom. There was only a tiny tiny window where basically no fresh air was coming into the room. At night people were talking quite loudly right in front of our door and the tv in the common space was also loud. At night I discovered two bugs in the bed which made me feel really uncomfortable.
- Juan (1/5): Bad -
- Josefrajez (1/5): Bad - is not much distant from the stations of transport Bed bugs .. Couldn't sleep
- Boyer (7/5): Great short stay - Great location, good fellow traveller, accommodating staff. I’m very sensitive to cigarette smoke and there were people smoking inside, but once I told the manager he told everyone to smoke outside. Also I had an issue with my bed, but he moved me to another bed and was very accommodating.
- Mikolaj (10/5): Exceptional - great place best location in the whole city staff very helpful and nice
- Ana (1/5): Bad -
- Jasmine (3/5): BED BUGS, smoking inside the property, noisy, power cut (no WiFi or air con). Overall, not great. - The bed was big.
Kitchen facilities made cooking convenient
Air con was good
Sister of the host was friendly and nice but rarely around. Bugs in the bed!!!!
Electric cut no air con or WiFi or fridge
Smoking indoors!!!!
Host not great
No signs or indications that the property was even a guesthouse as all
Seemed run down and unappealing from exterior
Lots of noise until late in to the night
Bathroom had exposed water waste via floor
Ants throughout property.
- Karthik (1/5): Save yourself from misery and don't stay here - Close to the bus stop I rather crawl through broken glass rather than stay at this hostel again., The place is hard to find for a starter, no signs and they don't even give the right address during confirmation, the bed was full of bed bugs which left rashes all over the body, people were chain smoking non stop indoors till 3 am talking loudly with tv on, there is no separation between the dorm and common area so next to impossible to sleep. Everything stank of cigarettes at this place. No toilet paper in the toilet and quiet dirty. Air conditioning was too old so the rooms were too warm during the night. This place is not fit to be a hostel on booking.
- Rexhepi (4/5): Look for something else - The toilet was destroyed
- Mohammad (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kinaci (6/5): Pleasant - İf you don t have enough money, you can stya herr. Near bus terminal but everything.....
- Sam6006 (7/5): Good -
- Foulkes (9/5): Superb - Good host
- Joana (1/5): Terrible - They offered the advertised late check in The policies and facilities outlined were not the truth. They tried to make us pay more than we were meant to. The hostel did not feel safe (even with us being in a private room) It reeked of cigarettes, there was only a fan to cool down the room. The pictures are not real/not from this hostel
- Hannah (7/5): Good -
- Tony (9/5): Superb - Handy to bus and train station Town, park and river nearby Nothing
- Paolo (6/5): Pleasant - Nice position, however people were smoking inside the living room.
Staff is friendly
- Muhammad (2/5): Very poor -
- Anton (10/5): Exceptional -
- Noppadol (6/5): Pleasant -
- Halit (1/5): Horrible place,Fake photos on the Booking page,Amateur management,I couldn't even use the bathroom ! - Nothing Everything
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tchakerian (1/5): Bad -
- Gianluca (2/5): Good luck - Close to the bus station. It's not a hostel. It's a dilapidated house with sofa beds and single beds that are moved here and there to make double beds based on bookings. Creepy bathroom, prepare to see other people's excrement floating (bring your own toilet paper). There is no sink in the bathroom so you will have to brush your teeth in the kitchen among dirty dishes and pots that they wash every 2 or 3 days (it's the family who doesn't wash, not the guests). The rubbish bin in the kitchen was full of rubbish; never emptied and smelled like vomit. No possibility of locking your things in a locker, the house and rooms ALWAYS open. There are some Turks who practically live in the house and never go out, they go in and out of people's rooms as if nothing had happened. We smoke at full blast in the house and in the rooms 24 hours a day. Very weak wi fi. I WARN YOU: DO NOT LEAVE ANYTHING IN THE FRIDGE BECAUSE THEY WILL STEAL IT FROM YOU, THEY DO NOT CARE IF YOU HAVE WRITTEN YOUR NAME OR HAVE THINGS IN A BAG (they even stole some clothes from a boy when I stayed). They just want cash. Pay with money counted to the cent and carefully count the change they give you because magically it is always less than what they should give you back. The address written on Booking is wrong and there is no indication, you will have to ask people to help you find the house. Good luck.
- Rauf (7/5): Good -
- Vo (8/5): Best location - The host is super helpful despite some misunderstanding due to language difference. She welcomed me before check in time and offered to help with my train booking. The place is right next to the main bus and train station and close to public transport so ideal for a short visit to the city. The area is very calm at night. The room is spaceous and comfortable. The room has a nice view to the city. The bathroom is not always clean and there is usually water on the floor. The door of the bathroom is also not secured. No private toilet and bathroom is a minus point but this has been anticipated in the booking.
- Ilona (3/5): Poor -
- Nina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nora (3/5): Poor - One member of the staff was nice and tried to find solution for all issues that we have Is not a hostel for women ( or an hostel at all), rooms were not clean, the bathroom was horrible and impossible to close. Except one member of the staff who were nice and internet that was working well I don't see other good point of this hostel.
- Qing (10/5): Exceptional -
- Daniil (4/5): Only if you don't have money and need to stay for 1 night - Very cool room mates, but it's probably just luck. Cheap hostel. 7 minutes walking to the train station and you can get to the airport by train just for €1.20. Very dirty bathroom, the water didn't drain in the shower so it was like a bath, doors to the toilet cannot be closed by the key and anyone can open the door when you are doing your stuff. Everything is pretty old. There is no safe place for your luggage if you want to leave it and go for a walk. Staff lied about the trains, they said that it doesn't work but it actually does. Poorly speaking English. Poor WiFi connection.
- David (10/5): Relaxing. - Central, clean, helpful host!
- Shuxin (10/5): Exceptional - The landlord was very kind and introduced me to all kinds of rooms. The rooms were very clean and the facilities were complete. The landlord also helped me to the bus station.
- News (3/5): Money wise okay. - It's managed by local family, who are just trying to make extra money.
- Iain (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mikhail (4/5): I expected better service - Clean place, good location near the train station My room was as small as it could be, more like a prison cell. It was cold and no heater or something. There were no toilet paper in the bathroom, I had to buy my own. The owner told me there is a kitchen, but I couldn't find it.
- Aleksa (10/5): Amazing - Great location and very close to the train and bus station. Very clean and comfortable.
- Sadat (10/5): Perfect accommodation in Podgorica - I would recommend this hostel to everyone who comes to visit Podgorica, because it’s excellent accommodation, personnel is very polite and helpful and it’s location is good: you can easily walk to any part of the city and explore beautiful Podgorica.
- Greg (1/5): Scam ! scam! Scam ! - Beware of scam! I had reserved a private room, and after a long journey, I arrived at the address just before midnight. The building had no signage, but after 40 minutes of searching, I found it. The guy told me that my private room was already occupied by two people, a girl from Japan and a man from Germany! I objected, saying this was against the rules, but he replied that was all he could offer me! He was unfriendly! A large dog was running loose around the house, and it was dirty! I was left without a roof over my head at midnight! I had to look for a hotel, and it cost me a lot of money. I also discovered that this was deliberate because the guy offers private rooms, but upon arrival, he claims to only have shared rooms, falsely stating that he is not affiliated with the Lejla Hotel and doesn't know where it is located! However, I was at the correct address, and a neighbor confirmed it for me. He operates on booking platforms as two separate entities, which is a lie! Beware, he is a scammer.
