• González (9/5): Great place, uncomfortable host experience - La ubicación muy buena They didn’t give me even one extra minute in the space. At 10:30 they were already knocking on the door as if I were planning to live there forever. The owner was very pushy and intrusive. I told him I was just finishing packing my suitcase and leaving, but he kept knocking like crazy.

For one the property is not a private property like they advertise, it’s connected the owner/renter house, he’s very rude and I just felt unsafe, too many cameras like the renter is watching your every move & company. Highly would not recommend if you looking for your own privacy and space. Owner very nasty, attitude nasty & rude

• Branislav (1/5): Awful host, felt unsafe, do not stay! - The decor is good, as you would expect for the area. The owner, barged in at 10:35 (5 mins after scheduled checkout) two large men started threatening myself and my much smaller partner. Seemingly unprovoked. Important maybe to note that I had called him warning him we were both ill and needed some time to get moving. He responds to bad reviews with the same AI generated responses so besides the poor review, I’ll just be reporting the property and owner to booking.com hopefully that takes care of things.

• Juliano (10/5): Clean, convenient and close to night life - It was very close to the main strip. It had a fridge, iron, ironing board and microwave which all came in handy. The shower was big and spacious which felt very luxurious. The aircon worked really well. The bed was very rocky and squeeky.

• Gloria (10/5): This was a wonderful place to stay and I will do so the next time I’m in Fort Lauderdale. - It was a large room, very nicely furnished and it had a beautiful bathroom. Both rooms were immaculate. There was a mini fridge, a microwave, TV and lovely table for dining in if you so chose. The appliances and fixtures were very modern and also immaculate. I highly recommend staying there. The property is in a quiet location, but also near many restaurants and interesting places to visit. There were no negatives in my experience. It was exactly what I was looking for, and I felt very safe and comfortable there. The owners of the property were very accommodating if I needed anything.

• Syw (9/5): Everything was great overall for me. If you are sensitive to certain scents, it may be an issue. - Very clean. Easy in and out. Instructions were pretty straight forward for when you arrive but I was a little unsure where to park as I didnt want to block another vehicle in. The air freshener used may be a little too much for some but wasn't a problem for me.

• Blake (10/5): Excellent place for a short stay. Would have liked to meet the owner, but his emails were nice and clear. - Location was handy, and room was very clean. The shower was especially nice because of the rainwater shower head. It’s hard to explain, but turning on the faucet was not obvious, nor was flushing the toilet. A little note would have been nice. Creamer and sugar would have been nice with the coffee maker.

• JOSUE ALAN (9/5): Good choice next to Wilton Manors - Excellent communication with the host. The location was pretty good and the bed was so comfortable.
• Marjorie (9/5): A decent alternative to a hotel. - It was a pretty little place with pleasant landscaping. The room was large. The bedding and towels were soft and comfortable; the bathroom had a huge shower and modern fixtures. There was a Keurig coffeemaker with pods provided but no cream/sugar, and there was a bowl with bags of snacks on the table. Just two and a half blocks away was an entertainment complex with restaurants and bars. The pin I was provided by Booking.com did not work, so I rang the bell, but no one answered the door. After two hours of waiting outdoors, I went through my old emails and found one from JBManors which had a different code; that worked fine. But it would have been nice if someone had answered the door. (I arrived late due to flight delays, so it was after midnight, and I realize it was not within my expected arrival window.) Two different Uber drivers went to the wrong address, one for drop off and one for pickup. Luckily, the place where both landed was nearby, maybe a block away.

• David (8/5): Great location and value for a large room and bathroom. Bring earplugs for light sleepers! - The location was convenient to Wilton Manors and had great parking. The bathroom is very nice and the shower was wonderful. There was body wash, but some shampoo would have been nice. Extra snacks in the room was a nice touch. The bed was up against the windows near the busy road. It would make sense to move the bed to the other side of the room, as there was plenty of space and it would have been much quieter. The pillows were too thick and dense. Also, it would have been nice to have someone check in on me at some point. It felt a bit cold. However, it was a nice stay.

Simple access, parking, everything. Shower wouldn't get too warm...but no worries about that

Bathroom was really nice. Had everything I needed. If you are a light sleeper, may want ear plugs. The main road out front can have a loud car here and there. No fault of the owner, just some people have loud cars with loud music.

Could use black out curtains or bring a sleep mask for strong morning sun. Owner/manager super rude and aggressive. WARNING dont stay 1 second past check out. He knocked on door at 11:05 and ask us to go. I understand we were running late but 11:05? I had car trunk open moving bags out to car which he could clearly see and at 11:15 he was at door again telling me “Get out now” and tried to shut door preventing me to enter and just do a final quick check. I was very apologetic we were running late and polite the whole time. I actually thought he would be assaultive. Totally unprofessional. Would never stay again!

It is actually an extension of a single story house.Having a mini refrigerator and small microwave in room a definite plus as well as Keurig coffeemaker.Beautiful bathroom. Host Jim was cordial &responsive to my questions. Highly recommended Missing a couple of “ small stuff”- would be great to provide small items like packaged creamer and sugar for coffee, as well as a small notepad and pen. Maybe some utensils,(spoon, fork..)- even plastic, for microwaved food. I brought back part of a pizza from lunch and enjoyed that for dinner without having to catch another Uber for dinner.

• Al (9/5): Great little getaway - The room was great. Comfortable, clean, quiet and spacious. Bathroom / shower was even more so. Location was also perfect as it was only a 10 min walk to the drive. 2 things stopped me from giving this a 10 star rating. 1, There was no iron, so I used the provided blow dryer to remove wrinkles from my clothes. 2, there was no hot water. Not sure if this was temporary, but it did occur during my stay.

I would have given all excellent except there was no hot water for my shower Fortunately it was in Florida and the tap water is not that cold. No on to contact to tell of any problems to.

• Richard (10/5): Great owners, location and super clean and fresh. - I commute for work and this location is walkable to restaurants, bars and coffee shops - perfect for a short stay, and the quiet of being in a 'neighborhood'. Also, the ability to enter without a long checkin process - it is all electronic, self entry with all the information provided to you directly before you arrive, with the ability to have the owner immediately respond for personal assistance.
