- Jimoh (10/5): Worth every penny 💯 - Property was so clean, bed is comfy and the kitchen is well equipped lovely. Nothing
- Dorota Donigiewicz (10/5): -
- Sophie (4/5): Not an excellent place to stay - Quaint little apartment Mould on windows and in bathroom, milk for welcome drinks was expired and thick and chunky, someone tried to get into our room at 2am so we hardly slept, fridge not clean, staff took a little while to respond to let us in to the property
- Salop (8/5): - The size of the place was perfect, and communication was good. Just what i needed for a night before the marathon. A charger next to the bed
A tin opener
A slightly more comfortable bed.
- Dominic (7/5): All in all comfortable and good Value for money . Location was fine - Great location, clean and comfortable room, good facilities and a corner shop below for essentials or items you'd forgotten Having bedside lamps in the bedroom would have helped and the constant beeping from the door chime on the corner shop door was very audible in the room. Every time the door opened it there was a loud electronic beep.
As the store was open from 7am till 11pm it was intrusive and made sleep challenging during the hours it was open
- Pablo (9/5): Excelente - Distribución del apartamento

- Stephanie (7/5): - Location and staff were great. Super value for money Pillows on bed could have been better and some areas could have been better cleaned
- Daniel (10/5): - Nice apartment, great value for money, would recommend to anyone, thank you.

- Kejera (5/5): - Atlist it warm i like it But not end of tawls
- Aaron (6/5): Cheap and cheerful - Good shower , once landlord re started the boiler No bed side lights , 3 hairs in tbe bed, tbe dam shop door chime going off from 6 am Sunday morning, made it impossible to sleep
- Paul (9/5): Comfy place! - A well equipped home from home, it had everything I needed for my short stay (2 nights), exactly as described and good value for money! Everything was fine!
- Karina (10/5): Highly recommended for short stays - Clean, spacious with all appliances and extras needed for a short stay. Steep steps up to the property.
- Damien (7/5): - Have stayed a few times before. Liked the location and privacy. Entry and exiting is stress free Apartment was clean and comforting. Apartment was cosy and warm as usual. Everything one may need is there and of course the bonus of the shop downstairs. I generally stay in the winter and it would greatly help to have the metal stairs routinely gritted or when ice is expected. Quite difficult to navigate icy stairs with heavy luggage.
Also some blinds in the kitchen.
- Farley (8/5): - It was close to where I was working. There was a shop under the apartment that must of sold anything you may have forgotten.
Also within walking distance there are restaurants etc on Buxton Road. The constant noise of the door of the shop opening and closing with the bell.
- Nigel (9/5): -
- Glenn (10/5): - What a find. Whole well appointed flat. Clean and cosy. Great location for me. Hosts responded to messages promptly and were really helpful. Excellent value for money. Hope to stay again when back in Stockport.

- Milford (3/5): - Bed was reasonably comfortable.
Accomodation was warm & clean. Every 20-30 seconds you could hear the ding-dong from the shop entrance below.
Every door in the place creaked and squeeked like it had a part in a 1960's horror film.
The loo seat looked 3 sizes too small.
The bedroom door would'nt close properly.
Once all the boy-racers had finished cruising past with loud crappy music blasting from their under-powered cars( approx 2:30 am)
I eventually got to sleep. Till the ding-dong shop entrance warning started up again at about 06::30 am.
- David (9/5): Great location, clean, comfy.. Recommended.. - Great location.. Very clean and comfortable stay.. Was very good, no complaints..
- richeyboy35 (9/5): Host fantastic and also Fantastic location. - Nice quiet place Bed was fantastic and plenty of space to move about and the shower was fantastic as it was walk in shower. Only thing that needs changed is plugs near the bed as I am deaf and had to use an vibration alarm clock and had to stretch it and also a couple of lamps by the bedside tables as soon as u turned off light was dark so difficult to see.
- Lauren (9/5): We really enjoyed our stay will definitely be booking again - Very homely, everything you needed, full apartment The bell from the shop from 6:50 am, disturbed sleep
- Charlotte (10/5): - Spacious rooms. All the facilities you can ask for in the kitchen.
Shower is lovely I put paramount plus on the tv which i logged into but the volumn did not work on that channel
- Timothy (9/5): Great for a short stay, pretty centrally in Stockport. - Convenient location. Clean and tidy. Friendly helpful staff who also ran the shop downstairs. It worked really well for me.
- Rich (10/5): - Very tidy place with all amenities you could want.
- Helena (10/5): - Everything was as advertised. I loved my time here. Great place to stay. Highly recommended. N/A
- Dee (8/5): Would stay again. Suited us fine. - Perfect location for us with all you could need A fan would have been nice. It was very warm!
- Pablo (10/5): -
- Kallum (10/5): -
- David (8/5): - Flat was well decorated and had all mid cons i expect for the price. N/A
- Terry (3/5): Very Disappointed - Comfortable bed The work tops hadn't been cleaned, the floor hadn't been cleaned or hoovered, the oven hadn't been cleaned, the toilet lid was broken, all round a very poor accommodation.
- Adeola (8/5): -
- Tom w (9/5): - For £116 ish it’s by far better and more value for money than premier inn and travel lodge together. premier and travel lodge give you a standard room with a standard tv and a bathroom, at rb you get an apartment with at least a 45/50” tv for half the price My only criticism is that it’s advertised with a pullout bed but after looking at it it’s not
(unless I wasn’t able to figure out a way to do it)
- Adeola (9/5): Superb - The environment was safe and easy to locate. The house itself was very neat. I would use again if I visit Stockport. Nothing.
- philbiggi (5/5): - The shower was good. The internet was good. It was quite loud with the shop below you it peaked every time somebody went in the shop or out of the shop.
- Tom (10/5): for the price there is literally no room for any complaints - for 60 something quid it was miles better than a premier in and travel lodge put together and the shop below it was a bonus my only semi dislike was the steep Ish stairs up to the main door so for older aged people it might not be easy to get up
- Rupert (8/5): Very good -
- Ian (8/5): Very good - The lock on the door to the flat is slightly out of alignment so makes it awkward to lock from the inside
- Helen (8/5): Very good - Clean and comfortable I think the £20 parking fee is a little high. Not sure why it was an ‘addition’ and not part of the standard rental.
- Brian (3/5): Poor - Convenient for the shop downstairs. Inexpensive. Poorly equipped especially in the kitchen . Only one soup / cereal bowl (sort of) and one mug. BUT 16 pint beer glasses. !!?? and 10 small glass cups. House rules say "No parties or gatherings", so 16 Beer glasses ??? Self catering for two but only 1 mug for coffee and 1 breakfast bowl. ??
- Allison (5/5): Disappointing - The fact that we had to climb 2 flights of external stairs (fire escape) to access accommodation. The area around the entrance was filthy, walking past an external toilet and garbage strewn all over was not acceptable. The kitchen was dirty, limited supply of crockery, cutlery to use.
- Cd (6/5): Not suitable for working professional who need peaceful sleep. - I recently stayed at your property and wanted to share some feedback regarding my experience. While the location was convenient, I encountered a few challenges that affected the quality of my stay.
Firstly, the room was situated above a shop whose door emitted a loud beeping sound each time it opened or closed. This noise persisted throughout the night, making it difficult to get restful sleep, which was particularly concerning as I had work commitments the following day.
Additionally, the room was quite warm, and there was no fan provided. The window could not be opened, and although there was a small ventilation system, it was insufficient to cool the room effectively. This lack of airflow contributed to an uncomfortable sleeping environment.
I understand that certain constraints may exist, but I believe addressing these issues could significantly enhance the comfort of future guests. Providing fans or ensuring better ventilation, especially during warmer periods, would be beneficial.
- David (9/5): This apartment is great value for money. - Great price and very close to the centre. Apartment was extremely good value I would really recommend.
One issue is the refrigeration motors from the shop down stairs are quite loud when windows are open. However I would definitely return if in the area again. Refrigeration noise
- Taiwo (10/5): Please permit me to use the word... "Scrumptious" -
- Momen (8/5): Very good -
- Carrie (6/5): Very useful location. Easy access. clean and basic. good value -
- Polepole (8/5): Very good - None
- Antony (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brian (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean and comfortable property highly recommended and I will certainly stay here again Not what I didn't like but I like a TV in the bedroom and could do with an update but theses are minor and do not distract from a clean and comfy stay
- Ian (8/5): Enjoyable stay - Handy location for the railway station and football stadium. Good price for what you get. Nothing really. Only stayed one night.
- Antony (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jeanette (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brian (8/5): Pleasant location, decent accommodation - Good location ,clean, all as described. The chap to whom we enquired as to key , barely spoke English when asked if he could get us in , however, the owner soon appeared and sorted us, tried to rebook the week after but no availability.
- Mike (7/5): Good -
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb -
- Roman (10/5): Exceptional -
- Louise (8/5): Very good - Friendly, accommodating, cozy, shop on premises.
- Juan (9/5): Was comfortable, the first night was a little problem with heating but it was solved inmediately. -
- Angela (9/5): Apart from the concerning problem from Saturday night, I had a very good stay there. - Comfy, tidy, clean property. Slight problem with the key handover, had to be given some spare keys by a member of the shop below but only for the apartment door, no keys for the outside door which gave you access to the property. This door the host said would remain unlocked. Arrived back Saturday evening, the outside door was unlocked and I gained access to the apartment with the second key. Unfortunately I went to go outside just before going to bed and someone had locked the outer door from the outside and you could not unlock it from the inside!! I was stuck in the apartment!! This was a rather concerning fire/ health and safety issue! The windows were quite small with a big drop being a first floor apartment in the event of a fire! Managed to shout from the window to a passer by who went in the shop and grab the attention of two young men from the shop who had keys for the outside door. Tried ringing the owner throughout this but could not contact him. Slightly harrowing experience! This situation needs to be addressed by the owner to ensure it does not happen again to future guests. As stated, it is a concerning health and safety issue in the event of a fire. Future guests I would suggest MUST ALWAYS be given 2 sets of keys, one for the outside door and one for the apartment.
- Karl (9/5): Very good will stay again next time we are in the area. - Nice layout and really good facilities everything worked and was had all the facilities you need. Everything was clean and looked after with a good tv and couch in the living room. We didnt stay long enough but there was a washing machine you could use too. I often thing how problems are handled shows more than when there are no problems and to highlight this being a great host, there was an issue where the door handle wasnt working properly, but the host sorted it out immediatly even though it was late at night and got someone to come replace it and this shows they care and want you to have a good stay.
- Damien (9/5): Superb -
- John (9/5): Superb - Facilities exactly as described. Struggled to get heating to work; but got there eventually.
- Stephens (9/5): Comfrtable and relaxing stay - This is all self catering so no breakfast/food provided. However, you are staying on top of a shop so all you need to eat or drink is 90 seconds away. The shop also has an off license and cash machine. I like the area, it was quiet, no traffic noise or pedestrian noise. Parking is available on local side streets but be mindful of the fact that there is a permit holders parking scheme in operatin on some of the streets. No local TV channels on the tele. There are no bedside sockets and the socket layouts are a bit weird. Bring long USB cables, preferable 3 meter ones if you are planning to work in the bedroom or living room.
- West (3/5): Hard to contact owner and no details to get in - Wasn't too small, nice large TV Original booking got cancelled with no explanation but was still available so rebooked. I tried phoning and emailing the owner but number didn't work and no reply.
Upon arrival we didn't receive a code, so had to go into the shop and spoke with a guy that worked there, he phoned the owner but took 30 mins.
The next morning we woke up to no electricity as the meter hadn't been checked or topped up. Then no hot water.
The phone number provided on a piece of paper in the property doesn't work and I emailed via the email provided there but nothing.
Again had to go to the shop which didn't open until 6 and we had been up since 5 as had somewhere to be and to get ready. Again the person in the shop got a hold of the owner and we eventually got it all sorted.
There was no washing liquid or sponges so had to buy my own aswell as a dish towel.
- Kate (10/5): Exceptional - Great value. Lovely apartment!
- Ian (10/5): Great location apartment was very spacious with everything you could want to feel comfortable - Spotlessly clean plenty of space good location and the shop downstairs was an added bonus Nothing
- Kate (10/5): Exceptional - The property was clean and comfortable. Great communication with the host. It had everything we needed 😊 N/A
- Taylor (9/5): Good stay, would definitely stay again. - The comfort and the space. Accurate description of property and pictures shown here are representative. Everything needed for a short stay was present. Was pretty quiet too with no disturbances.
Owner was friendly and helpful and is very responsive. Have recommend to other family members in the area for when they have guests. Also a fair price. Not much at all. Just could do with instructions on heating and maybe blinds/curtains in the kitchen but wasn't a big issue for me personally.
- Zainab (10/5): Exceptional -
- Raja (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stephen (7/5): Good -
- Johanna (5/5): Passable - The flat had all that was needed. Bathroom and kitchen were pretty clean and pretty well equipped. Bed was comfy and clean. The bedroom could have been a bit cleaner - there was a used tissue by the bedside cabinet and a fair bit of dust. I stayed in hot weather. The air con outlets from the shop below were very noisy and continued day and night. The street was pretty noisy too. I missed having a bedside lamp.
- Peter (8/5): Very good -
- Stephen (9/5): Comfortable and peaceful. - Comfortable, well equipped and quiet. Could do with a couple of bowls in the kitchen for breakfast cereal.
- Pip (8/5): Very good -
- Dörte (7/5): Good - The bed was very comfy.
- Alex (10/5): I had a fantastic time staying there nothing I can say wrong about the place - Location was fantastic All good to my expectation
- Kaddu (10/5): Great place to relax in. - Everything was super N/A
- Diane (8/5): Short stay - Nice spacious apartment. Only one small pan available. No stopper for the sink.
- Yalda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Folarin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Karen (9/5): Superb -
- Eleanor (9/5): Excellent fully equipped 1 bedroom apartment - The bed was comfortable, shower was really good with a big showerhead and good pressure. The space was also bigger than I expected with a full sized separate lounge room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. No bedside powerpoints
- Eugene (7/5): apartment was nice but normal TV channels required.kitchen without pots and pans and plates, bowls - no standard TV channels, wanted BBC ITV to watch normal TV and news. lack of utensils and only had a small saucepan so could'nt cook meals. microwave oven was'nt easy to use either. Had to eat out more than we would of than normal.
- Celia (9/5): Superb - Warm and comfortable, very clean, modern and well maintained. Owner was cheerful, helpful and polite. Would recommend. Internet outage, which was resolved quickly.
- Angela (8/5): Just what I needed. - Comfortable and the kitchen and shower were good. Couldn’t work the TV and no window in the living room.
- Mike (9/5): Excellent value for money - Excellent value for money - a whole flat for less than Travelodge wanted for just a bedroom. It was warm, decor was bright and TV excellent. Very handy to have such a well stocked and friendly convenience store downstairs. The kitchen could do with a couple of cereal bowls and some teaspoons. In some places the DIY needs a little tidying, but don't let that put you off - everything works well!
