Guest Reviews
- Lucy (10/5): - A beautiful little place .... very clean, very comfortable, homely, light & airy, beach at the end of the lane. Nothing
- Martin (10/5): - A lovely place to stay and was excellent value. It was ideally located for the beach and close to other places to go too, the owners were great. There isn't much form of public transport and taxis, so a lot of walking especially if you wanted to drink and relax, otherwise you have to drive to most places. Very strange like going back to the olden days, that was our only gripe, but this had nothing to do with the property and location.
- Giselle (10/5): Absolutely perfect for us - Perfect location, well named Hydaway,
All you need for a lovely stay Nothing

- Haley (10/5): It was a lovely break, weather was overcast and windy but the property made a big impact on how you felt - it made you f - The property had a good size garden, inside was spacious bright and homely. Kitchen had everything you need, bedrooms were a good size, lounge /dining area - spacious. Bathroom had a good shower. All very compact and well thought out. Lovely, clean and airy - giving a feeling of freshness and welcoming. Nothing
- Gina (9/5): Perfect little hydaway and very close to the beach !! - We had a lovely week at the Hydaway . The property is very clean and comfortable . The garden is a nice size and very private . Everything you need and a few minutes walk to the shop / fish and chips / and Chinese also Watson cafe … all delicious food!
The beach is also 2 minutes walk away and it is beautiful.
Great hosts and communication from Barry and Mary .
We will definitely be back again x N/A
- barry (8/5): Enjoyed our stay and would use the property again when the building works are complete - Lovely coastal location very near the beach ⛱️⛱️
Well equipped and very clean and comfortable
Lovely hot shower 🚿🚿 Didn't like being woken up every morning by the noise from the building site adjacent to the property .
Not the fault of the property owner but would have been nice to be forwarned ☹️🎧🎧
- Andrew (8/5): Lovely property - Very clean, neat and well equipped.
Lovely beach hut type property.
Very quiet location. The location is a little none descript. The Beach is a quick walk away and very nice but Bacton itself does not have much going for it.
- Hannah (9/5): - We loved how close it was to the beach and it had serene gardens and a nice quiet, peaceful location. The kitchen was excellent and had everything we required. The beds were comfortable and the house was spotlessly cleaned. There could have been a rug or another comfy chair in the lounge.
- carol (10/5): Couldn’t asked for anything more. - Everything, it’s so cute, garden for children to play in as well, close to the beach.
- Claire (10/5): - Lovely little place, stayed as a family of 4 for 3 nights. Walking distance to shop, fish & chips and the beach. Lovely sandy beach that isn't too busy. Sufficient parking space for at least 2 cars.

- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sarah (10/5): Throughly enjoyed our stay would highly recommend - Comfy beds , the property was bright and lovely also had outside space and 2 minutes walk from the beach.
- Claire (10/5): Comfortable stay is a nice private location. Lovely - The property was tucked away and felt private. The inside was very clean, well presented and comfortable.it had everything we needed.
Once in side it was easy to access everything and the space was good. The steps into the bungalow are steep and a little tricky if you happen to have reduced mobility.
- Amanda (10/5): A amazing cozy place to stay well equipped - It was a lovely place to stay we had some lovely weather very close to beach which surprised us
The chalet was very clean and tidy, it had everything we needed ( couldn’t find a tea towel to dry up but used paper towel ) but if I asked the owners would probably drop one in Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Only thing was lane leading upto property a lot of potholes we had a sports car but not owners fault
- Martin (9/5): Superb -
- Jacquie (10/5): Exceptional - Self-catering property.

- Daniel (8/5): Enjoyable stay - Great location for walking young kids to the beach with shops enroute to stock up. Clean, comfortable and good communication. Private parking always very welcome. Nitpicking really, but bathroom sink could have been bigger and extra towels would have been welcome.
