• Lawrence (8/5): Great value stay - I had a nice stay at The Regency Hotel in Bristol. The room was clean, comfortable, and excellent value for the price. The location is ideal too — close enough to walk into the city or 20min walk to the BRI, but still in a pleasant part of Clifton. A special mention goes to Komal on the front desk. She greeted me with a warm smile, was incredibly helpful throughout check‑in, and made the whole arrival experience feel welcoming and easy. Her friendly attitude really sets the tone for the hotel. Overall, a good price, good location, and great service. I’d happily stay again. Could hear some street noise and the floors were a little creaky, but nothing unexpected for the building. Would’ve been handy to have a vending machine for snacks.

Excelente relación calidad/precio, la atención y simpatía de Komal, la recepcionista, fue un 10! De fácil acceso al transporte público para llegar a cualquier lado. • Morris (5/5): - It had everything I needed. The bed was comfy. Good hairdryer. Tea and coffee. The smell of the room was like feet and dog. There was a tiny window that I could get some fresh air in. The bed linen and towels were clean but the room itself needed a good wipe down and the carpet needed a shampoo but it had been hoovered. I hadn't clocked when I booked it that it was a shared bathroom but it was ok. If the room had been cleaner and hadn't smelt so bad I'd stay again but it's ok for one night.

She was very helpful in all aspects of and easy to talk to. Her support and understanding was exceptional. Thank you komal for all your help. Hope next time I book in revenge you will be around. Cheers Heating was not working for the period I stayed. Even though komal tried to help as regards to that. But was very apologetic.

When I complained I was assigned another room but the new room had no en-suite. The room description for the room that I booked said includes bath or shower.

It's very good value for money given the location in Clifton. The hotel team accommodated us at the last minute when our other booking fell through (at 6pm in the evening). Basic amenities all covered - tea and coffee, toileteries, etc.

There was confetti in the bed, the sheets were dirty, the bathroom was appalling and the room had clearly not been cleaned properly. - someone tried to get into my room at 1am, there were no staff members to be found. - Overall, this experience was both uncomfortable and concerning. I would not recommend staying here, as basic cleanliness and customer service standards were not met.

There is a shop 10-15 mins away but in the middle of the night its not ideal, suppose i should've been more prepared tho. Only 1 socket in the room not near the bed and the shower head was so loose I had to hold it while showering.

Had a lovely chat and made us feel very welcome. Great shower pressure and temperature. Nice sized room for 2 people. Lots of tea/coffee provided which was appreciated! The double bed was actually just 2 single beds together which didn't make for a very comfortable sleep! The wifi didn't work during our entire stay which was disappointing.

Lukewarm water so couldn’t even warm up in a hot shower! Hair and mould in the shower, it hasn’t been even vacuumed and I saw a nail by the bed. Disgusting! I didn’t read the other reviews and it shows that nothing will be done regarding the cleaning.
