• Barbara (10/5): Wonderful three day stay on our biking trip from Seoul to Busan - Comfortable, great neighborhood close to restaurants and in walking distance to many of the best sights in Gyeongju. Miny was an absolutely wonderful host.
• Claire (10/5): Lovely stay close to the burial mounds - This place was lovely. Clean, spacious and airy. Comfortable bed, nice linen. Most of the windows have blockout blinds. Quite a luxe feeling overall. Great to have a kettle. It had some other interesting gadgets too. Also the location is great - right across the wall from the burial tombs. And Miny was really kind and helpful. The couch was a bit too small for two people to relax comfortably. There would be plenty of space for a larger, more comfortable one. But really not a big deal.

• Eva (8/5): Apart from the light issue I had a wonderful peaceful stay with the outside space - I loved the location. There was no breakfast. The hanok was very comfotable. I di not like that there was a lot of light, a street lamp all night and the natural light from early morning, which made a good night sleep difficult. I was told that a blind would disturb the overall design of the hanok but I don't agree. This could easily be fixed with a black out blind which can be pulled up and down and would remain invisible.
• Deschanel (10/5): - Couldn't have been happier with my choice of stay in Gyeongju! The city is lovely, nestled between lush mountains and monuments from the Shilla kingdom. The hanok is very modern and nice, perfectly situated to enjoy the city's attractions and local restaurants and cafes. The owern, Min-ji, was really helpful and ordered cabs back and fro the train station and answered all our questions regarding transports etc. Would definitely go back to this place and to the city !

We had the perfect stay and Miny was so lovely and helpful and recommended places to eat and things to do around Gyeongju! If we could have stayed longer, we would have!

Le propriétaire était très sympathique, serviable et prêt à donner des informations, même si c'était seulement par écrit. On ne l'a pas rencontré. L'appartement est assez grand et propre. Il est placé à proximité de tout (commerces et points touristiques). Nous n'avons jamais rencontré le propriétaire et avons juste eu des contacts par WhatsApp. Signe des temps modernes ? :( - Il n'y avait pas de jacuzzi, comme certains commentaires ont affirmé. - Il manque des instructions en anglais. - Il n'y a pas de rideaux opaques aux fenêtres. Dès le petit matin on est réveillés par la lumière. - Pas de lave-linge dans l'appartement. - Le jour de notre départ, comme il pleuvait énormément et qu'on a lu que la pluie s'arrêterait vers midi, nous avons demandé de partir à 12h au lieu de 11h, mais cela nous a été refusé. Toutefois le propriétaire pouvait garder nos valises dans un locker. Comme cela ne nous convenait pas, nous avons acheté des parapluies et sommes partis, un peu tristes et mouillés :(

Situation géographique incroyable : on est en plein centre ville historique et on peut visiter absolument tout à pied. Pas grand chose : on pourrait être dérangé par l'insonorisation de la chambre si on a des voisins un peu trop bruyant (ça n'a pas été notre cas, mais on pouvait entendre la douche, toilette de la chambre au dessus).

• Eros (9/5): Great stay in a modern hanok - Modern hanok apartment with great amenities and huge open bath. Great location close to touristic attractions and souvenir shops, and a short 10-15 minutes walk from the city center. Even with good ventilation, which is installed, the room becomes very humid when using the bath. Toilet facilities are half open, no way to not hear what is going on in there. Sometimes you need a bit more privacy.

It is very easy to find, and I felt very safe staying there. It is equipped with everything that you need for a stay e.g. bath, kitchen, towels, toiletries. The host is fantastic and guided me through the stay so kindly, helping with luggage storage, access, breakfast and fresh coffee and ordering a taxi to the train station.

Intérieur très spacieux, neuf et qualitatif. Clim très efficace. Par rapport aux évaluations précédentes, pas de soucis liés aux rideaux non-occultants ou à la dureté du matelas, bien au contraire. Le propriétaire a dû faire le nécessaire entre temps. Grande proximité des attractions principales. Nombreux cafés, restaurants, commerces . Le manager, Miny, via whats App, tres amical et aidant. Local sécurisé pour deposer les bagages Petit bémol : le GPS de taxi a eu du mal à trouver le logement. Touts s'est réglé au téléphone.

Luxurious amenities in a historic style. Although the host was attentive, sometimes the English was a little hard to understand. But often plugging the conversation into ChatGPT or asking my wife’s interpretation (who is from an ESL family) helped clear it up. Host was also far more attentive than most Finding the property was a little bit challenging because maps don’t accurately show the pedestrian-only road it’s on. Just get dropped off on the road bordering the “Sunghyejeon” shrine and you’ll find it pretty easily.

It was on the second floor so it gave a nice view of the surrounding area. Located near a lot of little coffee shops, restaurants and attractions made it a stay that I couldn't fault. Owner was super helpful and extremely kind to deal with. There wasn't much to dislike. As I understand it accommodation in Korea is always going to be on the smaller side so there's that to consider if you have a lot of luggage or more than two people staying there.

• Michael (1/5): Three nights of hell - I have traveled to over 30 countries and stayed in more than a hundred hotels, and unfortunately, this stay was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. The location was good, and the house itself was clean, but that is where the positives ended. I was traveling with my 86-year-old mother and 16-year-old son, so I confirmed with management multiple times that there would be enough beds for all of us. I was assured we would have two beds and a roll-away. However, upon arrival we found only one bed, with a few sheets and pillows stuffed in a closet. When I contacted management, our concerns were brushed aside. We tried to make the best of it, but after lying on the floor for only 15 minutes, we realized the floors were dangerously hot — so hot that we could not sleep on them. We later learned that there were ongoing issues with the radiant heating system, which management never disclosed. Worse, they refused to come and fix the problem, leaving us to endure three sleepless nights, forced to sit upright in chairs. Other issues added to the frustration: The bedroom’s large round window is illuminated by dozens of lights that cannot be turned off until 10:00 PM, making it very difficult for my elderly mother to rest. The “included breakfast” was late every day, arriving around 11:30 AM only after we called to ask, and the quality was no better than a fast-food meal. The steep, narrow stairs leading up to the entrance posed a serious challenge for my mother, something management should have disclosed in advance. What made the entire stay even worse was the attitude of the manager. She showed no concern, no sympathy, and no willingness to resolve the problems. The lack of communication and disregard for guests’ comfort or safety was astounding. Overall, this was a truly miserable experience, and I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere. Management
• Esmeralda (10/5): Casa coreana moderna - Bellissima struttura in stile tradizionale coreano esterno e internamente completamente ristrutturata, nuova con tutti i comfort. Cucina, proiettore, asciuga capelli Dyson, giardinetto privato e la chicca e la vasca enorme e la doccia. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Super pulito e la zona super centrale. L’host non l’abbiamo visto ma da whatsapp ci ha dato tutte le info, davvero molto gentile e parlava bene inglese ( una rarità in Corea).

Everything was so well thought-out and the accommodation had everything we needed and more. Location was great, everything really walkable in such a cute location. The host was very attentive and brought us breakfast each morning. The mattress on the bed was quite firm, but we hear that's very typical since an actual Hanok is supposed to not even have a mattress but to sleep on the floor.. So this won't be a problem if you like a more firm mattress.

• Daniel (10/5): Great stay in the heart of the city - Rome was right in the middle of the city. Easily accessible to everything. We took the King bed with the hot tub room. The room was very well appointed. Very clean. It is on the back street and it was very quiet. The host Miny was very helpful and responsive to WhatsApp. We’ve even received breakfast in the morning. The room is very nice and new. There is also a room to store your luggage before you check in and after you check out if you want to continue to sightsee. The room is fairly light at night. There are a couple of windows that just have an aluminum horizontal shade that lets in a lot of light. There is also the entry door that is glass that doesn’t have a shade. If you are a light sleeper or prefer it very dark, you would benefit from a sleep mask.

Location is amongst the pedestrian streets of the town, surrounded by plenty of restaurants and cafes. . I don’t think we’ve stayed anywhere as beautiful! The space was a great size - interior design was beautiful and the hot tub was perfect after a long day travelling and exploring Gyeongju. The outside space was really lovely and must be great for the summertime. They also have a projector and screen to watch movies in the evening. Miny provided us with breakfast, drinks and bottles of water each morning which was really appreciated. We were able to leave our luggage at the secure luggage room after check-out. The service was next-level and really added that extra touch! 100% recommend you stay with StayAnGim if visiting Gyeongju, we we will most definitely stay again if we ever return to the area! 감사합니다 미니! • Mario (10/5): Cozy appartment with great location - Great place with a mix of traditional wooden Hanok mixed with modern amenities. It’s very well equipped, clean and cozy. Easy to communicate with the host via messages. Very fast check in, they will send you the door code and that’s it. Great is also the location, very easy to walk to the main sights as well as restaurants. We really enjoyed the stay and will come back

• Jens (10/5): Exceptional - Very friendly staff; our host was very helpful! The room is extremely beautiful. And the location is great as well. The curtain is quite thin so let’s through some light. So we woke up quite early, but I’m also a light sleeper, haha.

• Sophie (9/5): Superb - The room is very clean, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Unfortunately for us it was too bright in the morning so we couldn’t sleep in.

• Jenleeuw (9/5): Lovely stay in a good location - Location was great, in the middle of all nice streets, walking distance for us to the must see activities in town. The property itself was spacious, had all the facilities and with a bubble bath, although it takes a long time to fill it up, we just did a foot bath in it, because it takes rather long. House looks traditional from the outside, but is modern and new on the inside, very nice. Missing curtains on one side of the bed, nobody can look in because there is a fence in front of the house, but it would have helped with the light next to the window or the morning light.

• Grace (9/5): Superb - A beautiful property that combines the traditional Hanok style with modern design! The location was excellent as it was in the heart of Gyeongju and only a 2 minute walk away from Hwanglidangil. The host was lovely, very accomodating and responsive to our needs. As a Korean-Australian, I absolutely loved staying at this property and would definitely come again when visiting Gyeongju!
• Nicholas (10/5): Stay AnGim offers a beautifully maintained stay, in a prime location, with excellent staff - This accommodation is in an amazing location, close to main sights like Wolji Pond and surrounded by great cafes, restaurants, and bars. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, communicating easily in English via WhatsApp. The room was beautiful and well-maintained, and the kitchen appliances were well-stocked and easy to use. A fantastic stay overall!

The facili - Good location and beautiful house The luggage storage was not available in a proper way due to the construction. Also breakfast wasn’t sufficient and while the facilities are incredibly good but there was no coffee machine.

• Bu (7/5): The apartment is super convenient - Breakfast a bit anaemic. Owner is very helpful. Shower and toilet bowl in the same space. Toilet bowl and floor are wet after every shower. The construction work next door starts at 8.30am, which is a bit early.
• Viktoriia (10/5): Exceptional - This is one of the best places I've stayed in the world, and certainly my favourite in Korea. Please note it's not a hotel, more like separate apartments, so if you want to drop your luggage before check in, you need to warn the host. She is absolutely lovely and will contact you a day before. The location is great, close to all the sights and shopping streets, pristine clean, it's just perfect. Just a suggestion to have some touristic leaflets at the entrance and print some instructions on how to use all the hitech gadgets.

• Phang (9/5): Overall, my stay at StayAnGim was delightful, making it a memorable experience in Gyeongju. - I love the impeccable cleanliness at StayAnGim, which made my stay incredibly comfortable. The location was perfect, a 5 min walk from Hwangnidan Street. The peaceful atmosphere and quiet mornings except the sound of cicadas, provided a refreshing and relaxing start to each day. As we had 3 persons, 1 slept on the futon…it added an authentic touch but left my body feeling achy in the morning.
