Guest Reviews
- Andy (8/5): - The little touches with sweets, flannels, marshmallows with hot chocolate, chocolates, dressing gowns, The breakfast was standard and there was no menu, I think 4* is high and the price is high too.
- Michelle (10/5): -
- Paul (10/5): Warm, Welcoming & Wonderfully Done – Gabrielle’s Delivers - We recently enjoyed a wonderful two-night stay at Gabrielle’s and it certainly lived up to its excellent reputation.
Our deluxe double room was beautifully presented and very well equipped, with thoughtful touches throughout. As it was the Easter weekend, we were even treated to crème eggs, which was a lovely surprise. The room included robes, an iron, hairdryer, and a great selection of quality tea and coffee, plus an indulgent hot chocolate complete with a jar of marshmallows, a really nice touch.
The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was warm and cosy. Being on the top floor, the shower pressure wasn’t the strongest, but this didn’t take away from what was otherwise a very enjoyable stay.
Breakfast was a real highlight. A delicious full English was served alongside a great selection of fruit, yogurt, juices, cereals and croissants, all complemented by freshly brewed coffee with plenty available.
A special mention to Meg, who was front of house during our stay, friendly, welcoming and a real credit to Gabrielle’s. Although we didn’t meet Simon, everything ran seamlessly behind the scenes.
Overall, a fantastic stay with great attention to detail and a welcoming feel throughout. We would happily return and highly recommend Gabrielle’s to anyone visiting Blackpool.
We’ll also be sharing our full experience on our YouTube channel, PJVisits, with our vlog going live on Saturday 2nd May.
- Sarah (10/5): -
- Heather (9/5): Lovely stay. - Meg was the perfect host and the attention to detail was brilliant. There were even marshmallows for the hot chocolate.
The place was very comfortable and welcoming.
- Lynda (10/5): One of the Best B&B's in blackpool to stay in . - Breakfast was lovely and hot , all local produce - not supermarket cheap ! Plenty of juice , toast , coffee and tea offered as well as fruit , yoghurts , cereals and brekkie bars and jams .
Room one was spotlessly clean , shower ran hot , toilet had good flush - even had few luxuries such as soap , gel , shampoo and condtioner and makeup remover flannels , tissues , very good value for the price ( £160 for 2 people for 2 nights inc full cooked breakfast)
2 minutes to funny girls , flying handbag , beach and tower all within walking distance .
Meg the host was amazing , nothing was too much for her - she even borrowed us a phone charger as we had forgotten to pack ours - such a lovely , welcoming and chatty woman . I actually have nothing negative to say .
- Zhanna (8/5): -
- Annette (10/5): - Location, how attentive our host, Meg, was. Our room was a good size, clean and really warm considering the temperatures outside. Loved all the little extras. Hot chocolate marshmallows were delicious after a long walk along the beach front. Breakfast was the highlight of our morning. Good coffee and local produce made it 5 ☆. Meeting returning guests speaks volumes about this lovely hotel, so we had to rebook again without hesitation. There is no need to worry about parking if you don't get a space outside as Meg gave us discounted parking for the local car parking in Bank Street at the railway station, a five minute walk away. Oh, and if you like gin, the bar is well stocked and very cheap too. Prices to stay are very reasonable. We have stayed in worse rooms for a lot more.
- Susan (9/5): - Meg was lovely
Bed was comfortable
Room nice and warm Nothing to do with the hotel but the streets were covered in dog mess and lots of buildings in poor disrepair
- Christie Jay (8/5): Good location and cosy - Good location. Meg was a lovely host. breakfast was nice too! Comfy bed too! The room was quite small. The lighting wasn’t great. A brighter bulb would be good.
Bench was placed next to the full length mirror so not useable- maybe shift it over?

- Blanche (10/5): Welcoming and clean, with a comfy bed and tasty breakfast! - Great location for where we wanted to be, absolutely loved the decor, and there were lots of little things that I thought stood out from other B&Bs we’ve stayed in.
The room was a decent size, and the bed was really comfy. In our room, we had bath robes, there was a little bag of sweets and a complimentary chocolate each, makeup remover cloths, the standard tea and coffee amenities and to my delight, hot chocolate was included with these.
Meg was lovely, really accommodating and tailored our drinks and breakfast to our requirements. The breakfast (prepared by Simon) was great and lots to choose from.

Meg and Simon are so accommodating and me and my 9 year old daughter loved our evening chats and giggles with Meg, along with some of the other guests. Quirky and clean, this B&B is without a doubt the best I have stayed in when stopping in Blackpool. Room had everything we need plus little extras that just put the cherry on the cake. Bed most comfortable I have ever had anywhere ever! Breakfast delicious too. We will definitely be making a return visit! Cant rate the owners and the accommodation high enough! Having to go home lol.
