• Ke (10/5): Over expectations. Really recommended. - The house is super clean and the host is very hospitable and kind. The rooftop is with amazing view of the Nile river. Host could help us book an early morning motor boat for us to catch the tour to Abu Simbe and packed the breakfast. Just walk 10 minutes to the other port and there are several tasty restaurants. 😋

• Magno Torres (10/5): Excelente atendimento e localização - O hotel fica na ilha Elephantine, adoramos cruzar o Rio Nilo com o public Ferry de apenas 1,5 reais e tem uma vista incrível no hotel para o Nilo no rooftop, onde tomávamos um café da manhã delicioso todos os dias. Reservamos os passeios com eles também, e sempre nos levavam até o transporte com lancha própria, muito cômodo. Foram sempre muito atenciosos. Adoramos a arquitetura Nubia da acomodação, que foi confortável Um ponto de atenção, casais precisam apresentar certidão de casamento, senão não poderão dormir no mesmo quarto. O Wi-fi era lento.

• Margarita (8/5): Хорошее место для экскурсий в окрестностях - Прекрасный вид с веранды на Нил. Действительно очень близко к переправе - буквально второй дом слева на первой линии. Комната маленькая, но есть все необходимое - удобная кровать и персональный санузел. На веранде можно готовить, сделать чай или сварить кофе. Но нужно иметь свои продукты, в том числе чай или кофе) Вывески на здании никакой нет, искать дом пришлось по интуиции. Хозяин настаивал, чтобы я оставила отзыв при нем - не очень приятно
• Tanya (10/5): Excellent choice for the solo traveler - I had a wonderful stay. It is a quiet guest house near the ferry with a view of the Nile. There are 3 private rooms on the top floor and Hamadon and his family are gracious hosts. I was there during Ramadan and was invited to every meal as one of the family. Highly recommended for the love, care, cleanliness, peace and quiet. All was perfect.

• Laura (10/5): - I had a perfect stay at the Bakar Nubian Guest House. It has a very authentic Nubian feeling and is located on Elephantine Island, which is very peaceful and quiet. The ferry to the other side of the Nile is just a few meters away. Muhammad and his family are incredibly warm, polite, and welcoming. They personally helped with everything, answered all my questions, and organized amazing trips. You can feel that they do everything possible to make sure their guests feel at home. Also the breakfast was delicious and the view from the guest house is absolutely stunning. I will come back for sure 😊

The balcony view in the morning is amazing - It has a beautiful balcony and is right at the ferry exit. The hosts are friendly. The downside is they request a marriage certificate but isn’t specified in their house policy. Make sure to read the “Important information” section as they only allow couples in the same room if you are married, so it can be a bit of hustle for you if you don’t have the document in hand.

• LudivineJeanne (10/5): Hôte accueillant et généreux - Hamadon est un hôte très accueillant qui a organisé pour moi toutes les visites et a acheté les billets de bus et de train pour la suite de mon voyage : un vrai soulagement dans l’organisation d’un long voyage. Je me suis sentie très intégrée à la vie locale et cela a rendu mon voyage absolument inoubliable. La vue depuis la terrasse est sublime ! Le petit déjeuner est préparé avec soin et est délicieux. La chambre n’est pas très grande et la cuisine est simple (je n’en ai pas eu besoin) mais cela suffit car il y a beaucoup de belles choses à visiter dans les environs ! Hamadon est un super guide, impliqué tout en restant discret. Je recommande totalement cette guest house pour une femme voyageant seule. Mon expérience était merveilleuse et j’ai déjà hâte de revenir. Merci Hamadon ! Mon séjour était parfait, je n’ai aucune remarque négative.

Based on Elephantine Island, which requires taking the ferry each time you want to go sightseeing, but the ride takes only a few minutes, coats only 20 cents, and gives a very charming aspect to your stay. Breakfast not included, but Abdelrahman made me a very tasty and copious one for a very low price. The shower head could not be fixed to the wall, which meant taking a shower with the shower head in your hand. Not the end of the world, but not convenient either.

He flawlessly organized our airport transfer (at 1 am) and arranged a private car trip to Abu Simbel for next day at unbeatable prices: I asked in 4 different places and his offer was by far the best. Mohamad organized an amazing 2 hour felouca boat trip which was at sunset. Altogether a great experience, great value, thanks for a great stay. PS. The Bob Marley Restaurant on the island has a rooftop view and good food, an Stella. I liked it all.
• Tsz (9/5): Good to stay here for 2 nights - - The host Hamadon is a helpful person, he arrange everything well and he will make sure everything is OK for you. 10 out of 10. - Location is important, you must choose the house near the pier and the location here is perfect. - The room is clean. - You got all the basic needs for this price. Overall everything is great. - It would be perfect if the room add more tea table for placing the stuff and have a good wifi. - The rule said that we have to be married in order to book the room, maybe because of it's religion? It's new for us.
• Tony9510 (10/5): Exceptional - My stay couldn't have been better. The host family are all super sweet and will make you feel instantly at home. Location is perfect, right next to the ferry. They also offer meals, I highly recommend eating their Tahini one of the best I ever tried. It's quiet in the early morning too, some of the best sleeps I've had in Egypt. Highly recommend staying here on Elephantine Island

• Mohamed (10/5): Exceptional - Mohamed was so helpful and co-operator with us, he helped us to organize our trip and make all stuff with good prices, Really we was so appreciated. and our rooms was with a balcony, the view was so nice.

• Lise (10/5): Really enjoyed my stay at MasTonKel - I really liked the clean rooms, mine even had a view of the river. The breakfast was great and Mohamed helped me book some daytrips while I stayed at the guesthouse. His cousin Hassan took me on a boat ride at night to a beautiful viewpoint over the city. I would really recommend staying here!

• Ashraf (10/5): Outstanding stay which applies the slogan "Come as a guest, Leave as friend " - The view of the place and its owners, they are so helpful as they guided me to visit several destinations and pushed me on the last day however i have checked out from the room to go ahead and buy the soviniers to my family and friends.
