Dusche funtioniert, Ausstattung weitgehend komplett. Kein Internet. Kommunikation mit Vermietung etwas kompliziert. Baustelle auf Nachbargrundstück, so dass die Umgebung doch nicht ganz so ruhig war.

• fournillon (5/5): Nous aurions apprécié d'être prévenus des désagréments liés aux travaux. - L'appartement est agrémenté d'une vaste terrasse avec vue mer. La chambre est assez grande et bien équipée en mobilier. Le couchage double, matelas comme oreillers, est vraiment médiocre. Appartement 4 personnes mais il n'y avait que 2 couteaux dont aucun coupant, nous avons dû en acheter un. La vaisselle était sale, nous avons dû laver tout ce que nous utilisions. Enfin, un hôtel est en construction sur le terrain voisin, réveil à 7h00 7jours/7, impossible de profiter de la tranquillité du hors saison hormis le soir, et de toute façon l'Anemoni est si proche du futur bâtiment voisin que même après travaux, les bruits du voisinage seront très présents...
• Πολυτίμη (9/5): Απολάυσαμε τη διαμονή, είναι δεδομένο οτι θα ξαναπάμε, αλλά σε εποχές με πιο υψηλές θερμοκρασίες. - Πολύ καλή τοποθεσία, με θέα, εύκολη πρόσβαση και κοντά στο λιμάνι. Σύγχρονο και καλαίσθητο κτίριο, σε ήσυχη τοποθεσία. Η οικοδέσποινα ήταν πάντα διαθέσιμη στο τηλέφωνο και πολύ εξυπηρετική, πρόθυμη να δώσει συμβουλές για εστιατόρια και άλλες παροχές. Η καθαριότης ήταν υποδειγματική, υπήρχαν αρκετές κουβέρτες και παπλώματα. Το κατάλυμμα ήταν εξοπλισμένο με όλα τα απραίτητα για την διαμονή, υπήρχε τοπικό λικέρ για το καλωσόρισμα, καθώς και καφές, νερό στο ψυγείο, λάδι και άλλα απαραίτητα στα ντουλάπια. Το κατάλυμμα είναι ιδάνικο για καλλοκαίρι, αλλά την εποχή που το επισκεφθήκαμε έκανε κρύο και ο κλιματισμός δεν επαρκούσε, εππιπλέον είχε κλιματισμό μόνο στον ένα χώρο και το θερμοσίφωνο είχε πρόβλημα, λόγω εορτών δεν ήταν εύκολο να βρεθεί λύση, οπότε στερηθήκαμε το ζεστό νερό.

• Marios (10/5): - Ηταν ακριβώς όπως και στις φωτογραφίες. Πολύ βολική τοποθεσία, υπέροχη θέα, εξοπλισμένη κουζίνα, εξυπηρετικοί ιδιοκτήτες, πολύ καθαροί χώροι.
• Peter (9/5): Geweldig verblijf. Volgende x weer hier - De mooie grote ruimte, perfecte douche, uitzicht vanaf het balkon richting water en bergen. Er stonden zelfs ontbijt spullen klaar. Vlak bij een strandje en de aankomst van de boot. Wij zijn reizigers dus het wasmachine was geweldig. Erg aardige gastvrouw. Twee zitjes! Direct naast ons begonnen de bouwvakkers om 07.15 met timmeren enz. Verder geen leuke Griekse tavernes in de buurt. Geen winkels, hooguit een zeer beperkt “supermarktje”. Auto is noodzaak om het eiland te verkennen.

• Pavel (10/5): A perfect place on Earth - I loved everything!!! This accomodation definitelly deserves the great reputation it has. Great location close to the port and beach and as a starting point to explore the beautiful Kythira by car. The apartment was spacius, clean, modern and equipped like a place for stable living. The best was the sea view from the balcony. Great actitude of the owners, they are doing a great job keeping the place nice and clean. Thank you very much!!!

• Chris (7/5): Short winter stay on very much the quiet side of Kythera - About 1km walk from port, close to mini-market (the only shop in Diakofti), good views from verandah. Good starting point for a number of spectacular walks. Functional cooking facilities. Good parking. (Winter Review!!!) Not a good winter venue- nothing open in Diakofti. Sofa bed very uncomfortable as a bed. Being winter, the lounge/dining/kitchen area was rather dark and dismal with the front door closed. This will not be an issue in summer using fly screen door. Every single vehicle which met our ferry disappeared over the hill to other parts of the island!

NO HOT or even Warm water for shower, the water temperaturę was below 25 degrees. I asked the owner before entering about hot water and heating, she lied to me , that everything is working, no problem with hot water.
• Jb (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment is really well-proportioned and the veranda has a great view of the bay. There's a handy little shop nearby and it's a 3 minute walk down to the two beaches. This was great value in low season and Matina is a lovely host.

It had full refrigerator and stove. We were very happy to use some of the amenities that were provided for us for breakfast, including toast, honey, marmalade, butter, and Greek coffee. It was an outage on the day of our departure. But, we think it was in the area or Island wide outage.

We absolutely did not like that we never met the hosts. Very impersonal and unusual for Greek villages. The water pressure in the shower was low.

Very generous owner who left melon, grapes, honey and rusks for us even though breakfast was not included. Large comfortable bed with bunk beds in the living area. Very large balcony/ terrace. The property is a quite a walk from the ferry terminal. We noticed this more because we had a lot of luggage and we wished we had arranged a taxi. There are no properties next to the terminal however and some were further away than ours was.
• Ville (8/5): Nice apartment, but dead town - Well stocked kitchen, Lovely patio with a view to the ocean and sunrise. Spacious apartment with an AC. The town is rather small but liveable in the summer season, but what I didn't realize was that everything there shuts down at the end of September. I went there early October and all the cafes, the one tavern and minimart were closed for the winter. The closest store was 15 km away and restaurants seemingly a bit further still. Luckily I had a bike so I could cover the distance to the grocery store, but it was still a nuisance. Also the WiFi only worked on the patio. Sometimes you got 0-1 bars in the kitchen, but that was it.
• Jeff (10/5): It was a great base to explore the island with a hire car! - Beautiful sandy beaches and rugged walks. It was out of season and the village was extremely quiet. The last taverna which was supposed to be still open was closed. The local mini market was open for less time than advertised and very over priced.
