Guest Reviews
- Ramon Regozo (9/5): Top-tier comfort and a fantastic kitchen, though the stairs were a hurdle - This apartment is exceptionally well-located near the local markets and managed by pleasant, responsive hosts who are easy to communicate with in English.
The room features a very comfortable bed with quality pillows, and the spacious bathroom offers a great shower along with high-end towels and bath supplies.
We were particularly impressed by the kitchen and dining area; it is very clean and better equipped than most places we've stayed in Vietnam, featuring a large stove, fridge, a microwave, and a sink with a dish drying rack. The generous welcome package of drinks and fruit, made a great impression, as did the convenience of the owners living next door to help with small requests. The layout spans three floors, which can be difficult to navigate since the kitchen is on the ground floor while the main bedroom and bathroom are on the third. As seniors, we found the stairs challenging, especially since the second-floor bed option lacks a nearby bathroom.
Additionally, the bed is positioned against a wall, making it awkward to get in and out of at night.
We also found the Wi-Fi to be quite weak, which made it difficult to handle video calls with our family.
- Michelle (10/5): Great stay - fantastic location, great hosts who helped us out with dining ideas and transfers. The place was comfy and clean, it was lovely to stay there, wished we could have stayed longer.
- Brendan (10/5): Perfect place , when back in Hanoi will definitely book again - Location was great , fantastic apartment hosts were very helpful can't fault the place
- Muhammad (9/5): - The owner was so kind and she replied and try to solved what ever my question and my request.
The apartment was so clean and the location is so great.
- Stefani (10/5): Wonderful - The owners are extremely thoughtful and nice. They felt like relatives to us.
- Stefani (10/5): We felt the hosts very close, they made us feel at home ❤️ - It was clean and had everything we needed. The location is also very convenient for tourists. Everything was perfect.

- juan manuel (8/5): - Ubicación Muchas escaleras
- Stewart (10/5): - Absolutely gorgeous little place situated in the perfect place, very central but tucked away from all the noise, loved every minute of our stay here
- Hung (10/5): -
- Rangi (8/5): - I loved how tucked away this little home was. Made me feel like escaping to my safe haven. The stairs are narrow and can be problematic for people with mobility issues but I loved the space and the winding staircase.
- Liam (10/5): Seems too good to be true, but isn’t. - Very impressive hosts - lovely family with excellent English, including from the very well mannered children. Very hospitable and genuine. The place is very central, but down an alleyway away from the bustle. There is a nice wee cafe, not connected to something, on the street front where you can enjoy a smoothie or coffee if you need to arrive before check in time (after dropping your bags off with something). The place itself is clean and modern - with almost a Japanese minimalist aesthetic.
- Martin (7/5): Good - Beautiful and great staff No communal activities to help people meet each other
- Vera (8/5): Very good - The host is very friendly and supportive. The location is great and the price is decent. The kitchen on the first floor was smelly but I think it's a feature of all the houses in Old Quarter.
- Vikram (4/5): Great location but not tourist-friendly due to cramped spaces and strict noise rules. - The location is excellent—right in the Old Quarter and walkable to all major attractions. The beds were neat. The washrooms are extremely tiny, and both my friend and I got hurt bumping our heads. The narrow staircase was also not clearly mentioned in the listing. When we raised these issues, the host apologized but refused to allow a cancellation. Also, they were extremely strict about noise, even when we were just parking our bikes late at night without talking. Tourist places are naturally active at night, and this property is not suitable for travelers who might arrive late.
- Phu (10/5): A modern comfortable stay - genuine hospitality - An unforgettable and budget-friendly stay in Vietnam—grateful to have met the wonderful owners. Definitely recommend!
- Sonnika (7/5): Great location for exploring the old quarter - Great location, right in the old quarter but still tucked into a small alley. Accommodation in the old quarter is small but this had more space. Bathroom on the ground floor was unusable for our preference due to the abundance of flies - this may be something beyond their control, I did not mention it as there was two of us on a short stay so we just used the top bathroom. Also, as it was something that was obvious from the moment we checked in I believed they must be aware of the issue.
- Nga (10/5): What a hidden GEM!! The area was just perfect shopping, coffee shops, bakery shops and restaurants! My sleep was amazing - Very spacious, clean and cozy! I did not dislike anything about this property
- Aaron (10/5): Exceptional - Quiet and big place with the coziest Beds you will find all over Vietnam. Easy self checkin and we could leave our luggage to pick it up later. Would definitely recommend!
- Mary (6/5): Had a lovely stay. The amenities were all available and functional. - The location was great. The bathrooms were a bit cramped/tiny.
- Kevin (10/5): Amazing place - Amazing place, super kind and helpful owner, would love to stay again We missed some cooking equipment but all we had to do was ask and we got everything we needed.
A coat hanger would be a nice addition as well as some cleaning equipment.
- Dariusz (5/5): No sound insulation between rooms, but great location - Location was excellent, very central but just away from the noise.
Great design (but with reservations!) Asked a higher amount to pay once at location from what it was when booked.
Incredible drain stench in the bathroom downstairs making it near unusable.
No sound insulation between rooms / floors and getting separate rooms as one of us was coughing was key to a decent nights sleep.
- Sagar (9/5): Nice, cozy place, loved it! - Cozy, nice place for a group, has two bedrooms with one attached bathroom and a common bathroom. Liked the vibe of the place, the hosts were very warm and welcoming and accommodative to our requirements. It can be a little congested if you are overpackers and tend to make a mess while unpacking. Also the location may be a bit confusing to find at first, but just ask a few friendly neighbors and they'll guide you very well!
- Maymona (9/5): Highly recommend. - It is located at center of Hanoi. There were alot of souvenir shops & restaurants nearby. The house was beautiful & comfy.
- Chi (7/5): Good -
