• Sugár (10/5): Tökéletes választás, közel Salzburghoz. - Csendes, csodálatos környezetben lévő szállás. Rendkivül baratságos, és segitőkész tulajdonosok. Aki pihenésre vágyik, annak tökéletes választás. Nem volt ilyen.
• Krämer (10/5): ALLES PERFEKT!!! - Wir haben uns für das Esterer entschieden, weil wir einfach ungestörte Ruhe genießen wollten, etwas abseits von der Altstadt, da wir einen Hund dabei hatten. Obwohl es mitten im Grünen gelegen ist, was zu schönem Frühstück im Garten einlädt, ist man nach einem kurzen Spaziergang bereits mitten in der Altstadt, somit hat man die perfekte Kombination aus allem was einem für einen Kurztrip, besonders mit Fellnase braucht. Abgerundet wurde unser Aufenthalt von einem persönlich geschriebenen Letter, was ich besonders nett fand. Rundum perfekt alles, wir waren mehr wie nur zufrieden und werden sicherlich in den nächsten Wochen ein weiteres Mal vorbei schauen, da Salzburg so viel zu bieten hat, das man nicht alles bei einem Kurztrip schafft. • Daniel (10/5): - Very clean, nicely renovated and oh so comfortable bed, pillows and duvet. Sleeping there was heavenly. Our room had a great view and the personnel was so welcoming. There could have been an extra trash bin, not only the small one in the bathroom.
• Femke Amarins (7/5): Een keurig,maar basic pension .Goed voor kortdurige overnachtingen - De eigenaren en het personeel,waren super vriendelijk!Ze wilden alles wel voor je doen. Het pension,de kamer en sanitair,was gedateerd maar wel heel schoon . We zaten wel erg afgelegen,en omdat we gebruik maakten van het openbaar vervoer ,moesten we nog wel een stukje lopen naar de bushalte toe. Ook misten we wel wat 'reuring ",in het pension zelf .Je was in de avond ,echt aangewezen op je kamer en kon niet nog even gezellig een drankje drinken of iets dergelijks.
• Klarenaar (10/5): Super B&B waar we zeker nog eens terug gaan komen. - De B&B ligt op een heel rustige plek in Furstenbrunn vlak bij Grodig. Geen langsrijdend verkeer of lawaai. Je kunt er s'avonds lekker buiten zitten. Verder is het heel erg bereikbaar met de auto. Salzburg is slechts een paar kilometer verder. De B&B heeft een heel erg vriendelijke gastvrouw en heer. Deze doen hun best om het je naar de zin te maken. Super ontbijt in de morgen en erg goede koffie. Verder nog nooit zo verwend met de goede wifi. Eigenlijk helemaal niks, prima zo.
• Gabriele (10/5): - Das Haus ist sehr schön ruhig gelegen. Trotzdem ist man mit dem Bus super an die Stadt angebunden. Die Zimmer sind sehr gemütlich mit tollem Ausblick auf die Berge. Aber was uns am besten gefallen hat, ist die familiäre Atmosphäre bei Familie Esterer. In der Gaststube wurden wir sehr lecker bewirtet mit Salzburger Hausmannskost und auch das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt.

• Rohmann (10/5): - My stay at Esterer was absolutely wonderful. The room was spotless and cozy, and the location couldn’t have been more beautiful. Waking up to the mountains every morning was such a treat! I really appreciated how close it was to the bus stop, just a short walk and an easy ride into Salzburg. It was the best of both worlds: peaceful and quiet on the outskirts, yet close enough to explore the city anytime. The owners were so kind and accommodating, even letting me leave my luggage before check-in, which made things so much easier. The area felt very safe and I often came back after dark and always felt comfortable walking from the bus stop. I’d definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a more personal, welcoming experience instead of a big hotel. I already can’t wait to come back someday!

• DEBE (10/5): - Es war ein schöner ruhiger Urlaub nach unserer Vorstellung. Ein schönes Familienunternehmen mit sehr lieben Inhabern. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Wer es abends etwas ruhiger haben möchte ist dort sehr gut aufgehoben.

• StadtoaseZeitlos (10/5): Urlaub wie bei guten Bekannten - - herzliche familiäre Atmosphäre - durch den kostenlosen Bus perfekte Anbindung an die Innenstadt Salzburgs - gemütlicher Gastraum mit tollem, regionalen Essen - reichhaltiges Frühstück mit Eierspeisen - ausreichend, kostenlose Parkplätze - da gibt es nichts
• Marketa (7/5): - Das Gasthaus liegt am Ortsrand von Fürstenbrunn sehr ruhig. E fährt ein Ortsbus direkt nach Salzburg ins Zentrum wenige Gehminuten entfernt. Parkplatz vor dem Haus. Freundliche Gastgeber. Das Abendessen war gut, mit regionalen Produkten, auf Unvertröglichkeiten wurde Rücksicht genommen und etwas Spezielles angeboten. Das Zimmer ist ok, die Einrichtung etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Es fehlt ein Kühlschrank oder Minibar, kein Safe vorhanden. Keine Handseife. Duschmittel waren in einem Körbchen im Gang für alle zur Selbstbedienung. Frühstück und Abendessen gibt es nur am Donnerstag, Freitag und Samstag und nur gegen Voranmeldung. Ansonsten ist es schwierig, in Fürstenbrunn einen Kaffee zu bekommen. Freundlicherweise wurde uns für den Sonntagmorgen eine Nespressomaschine mit 2 Kaffeekapseln zur Verfügung gestellt. Teilweise waren die Gastgeber nicht anwesend. Der Gast ist sich selber überlassen. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war nicht adäquat. Wir hatten uns aufgrund der schönen Homepage und der guten Bewertungen mehr erhofft.

• Steffen (10/5): Urlaub vor den Toren von Salzburg - Super nette Gastgeber, die dich herzlich empfangen, sich um alles kümmern, viele Tipps für die Umgebung geben, es gibt die digitale Gästekarte, damit sind die Nahverkehrsmittel kostenlos, super Lage unterhalb des Untersberg, mit dem Bus ist man in ca .40 min im Zentrum von Salzburg, wer die Ruhe und das Ländliche sucht, ist hier genau richtig, super Frühstück und Abends kocht die Chefinsuper leckere regionale Köstlichkeiten.Kommen gerne wieder...

• Dora (10/5): Very nice and clean - The accommodation is very cozy and clean. There is a big free parking lot and the garden is beautiful. After the online check-in we also got free tickets for all busses in the city for the time of our stay and the bus station is very close, we didn’t even expect that and it was very useful. The hosts are friendly 😁
• Snjezana (8/5): Lovely peaceful location - The room and bathroom were exceptionally clean. The bed was very comfortable and Georg was super helpful when my phone stopped working. I had the pleasure of eating at the restaurant on the premises. Georg's mother is a very good cook and host. Make sure to book. The restaurant is only open Wednesday to Saturday. It was great to get the tourist pass for free public transport. Georg arranged it on arrival. Whilst it was a quiet and peaceful location, the bus stop can feel like a distance away (approx 500mts) The bus arrives less frequently as the day goes on and the same to return home. This can be problematic if you are short on time.
• sarah (9/5): Relaixng, peaceful and up - Everything was just wonderful for our three night stay, we just wish we could have stayed longer. We were so grateful for the morning coffees in your lovely peaceful garden, and for the opportunity to order wine and beer to be delivered to our room on the evenings when the bar was closed. Fabulous! We adored our bedroom with the balcony view of the garden and mountains, which was just spectacular. We have been spoilt with the weather too, and it has been such a relaxing stay. Thank you Esther and Georg for your hospitality during our stay. Everything was just perfect - perhaps a kettle in the room would have been a welcome addition, especially for when we first arrived.

Jedes Zimmer ist etwas besonderes und die Einrichtung liebevoll, im Detail abgestimmt. Die Fliesen im Bad sind ein Genuss fürs Auge. Es gibt eine direkte Busverbindung nach Salzburg. The guest house is traditional and gives an authentic Austrian experience. Positioned at the foot of the mountains the scenery and quiet location is truly amazing. The restaurant has an authentic Austrian menu with locally sourced produce, home cooked with care from Esther. Best food in our 5 week European trip. The Esterer seems a world away from the bustle of Salzburg, but is an easy bus ride on the 21 route from Salzburg Hbf. Uber was easy for our arrival but the view from the bus is great, and interacting with the locals is always a good experience when travelling. There is free use of buses in Salzburg for tourists - the pass is available at check in. For the nights the restaurant is closed (Sun -Wed) there is a cafe across the road from the bus stop, a 500m walk from the Esterer. It was a genuine surprise location, the hosts were amazing and the rooms very adequate. If you need anything, just ask and Esther is there for you. Recommended to all travellers wanting to experience the real Austria. We loved it. Nothing really. There are stairs but Esther was available to assist with moving our luggage. No kettle in the room but one was supplied when we asked.

• Laura (10/5): Stunning location, spotlessly clean - Traditional Austrian guesthouse. The room was spotlessly clean, and the location was fantastic. Just on the edge of the village with mountains all around, but only 20 mins from Salzburg. Our hosts could not have been more helpful or friendly. We had breakfast twice and an evening meal too. Both were delicious. I'd definitely recommend eating at least once at the guesthouse. Fantastic stay.

Close to Salzburg, close to Schönau am Königssee, close to the mountains etc. Easy to park, very friendly host, clean room, quiet and comfort, dog bed is provided, very nice. The room is worth what I paid, but after I booked, the price dropped by 18% immediately. The sudden difference does leave a bit of a sour feeling.

• Lara (6/5): Pleasant - -Beautiful scenery -Very clean -Close to public transport (around 8minute walk) - Responsive host We stayed during the month of December and found the place to be quite deserted, there are no close amenities including restaurants especially since we did not have a car. At night, the neighbourhood is fairly dark and therefore we did not return from the centre by bus. We also found the room to be abit cold for our liking however the hosts supplied us with an additional heater which we were very grateful for.

The location was perfect - peaceful and scenic, but also convenient for getting to the city. The property itself was flawless. Everything was clean, comfortable, and just right for our needs. The owner was fantastic - always ready to help with anything we needed and full of great recommendations for trips and restaurants. She was also incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. We will definitely be back next time we visit Salzburg. Highly recommended!
