- LesG (9/5): Peaceful Retreat - Lovely little place. Quiet and peaceful. Well equipped. Nothing negative

- Michelle (8/5): Lovely last minute break near to the forest. - Lovely self contained studio with everything you'd need. Gorgeous shower, very quiet but walkable to pubs for great food. Personal preference- Bed could have done with being a king-size.
- Louisa (10/5): - Really lovely place, spotlessly clean and equipped with everything that you could need. Friendly host, amazing location.

- Adrian (6/5): Nice rural location, good hosts, but cleanliness can be improved - The location was lovely — very quiet, private, and peaceful. I also appreciated having a fridge and microwave, which made things more convenient during the stay. Just a note for anyone planning to cook: there’s no stove, which wasn’t an issue for us, but it’s worth being aware of. The pillows and duvet had a very strong damp smell, so unfortunately they couldn’t be used and will need replacing. The temperature was comfortable during the day after we asked the hosts to turn the heating on, but it was switched off at night. Without being able to use the duvet due to the smell, it became very cold.
Cleanliness could be improved as well. The space was dusty, there were hairs in the bed and in the kitchen towel, and the bin hadn’t been emptied. While the inside of the toilet was clean, the seat and sink needed attention. The sofa also had a white-ish stain (hopefully just food), but the cover definitely needs a proper wash.
I personally prefer not to have black or dark towels and bedding; had everything been clean and fresh-smelling, I probably wouldn’t have minded as much.
With a few small tweaks, this could be a great stay. I really loved the rural setting and the sound of birds throughout the day, and I hope the hosts take this feedback on board.
- Hayley (10/5): Was great and would stay again for sure! - The property is great, got everything you need. In a lovely location, great for local walks and easy access to a pub! Convenient parking at the property too.
Host was great and very responsive, we wanted the heating on and sent a message and it was done immediately :) Nothing!

- Amy (10/5): Excellent value for money - Clean and very cosy -
- Guest (10/5): Lovely night stay would definitely stay again! - Cosy with everything you could possibly need!
- Matt (6/5): see rest - really great studio flat, lovely bed and the bathroom and shower was really good Well this isn't the fault of the owners as I should of read that there was no cooker but I just looked at the pics saw a kitchen and assumed that there was one. For a start you cant use the microwave and the air fryer at the same time as the fridge is plugged into the only 2 sockets that reach which is a bit of an issue which needs sorting. The main issue is that you cannot fry or poach an egg for your breakfast as there's no hobs to do this, I googled poaching eggs in an air fryer but gave up when they turned to mush which was such a shame as we needed poached eggs to go with our muffins and smoked salmon oh well we ended up going out for breakfast. Again this was my fault for not reading that it was not a proper kitchen. All it needs is a plug in 2 ring electric cooker about £40 from Argos and some more utensils pot and pans and it would of been perfect. Owners please note and thanks for our stay
- Patrycja (10/5): 5 stars stay ! Nice clean place with everything you need . Definitely we will be back ! - Nice clean quiet N/a

- jean (7/5): The Good, the bad and the ugly - Clean, decent, mostly good, once we found it. Lack of signage. Satnav doesn't take you there. Local pub has never heard of it. If you don't want to name it, a big yellow dot to follow, no name on the building Dreadful steps with no rail, not even a post, broken brickwork. Comfy mattress but very poor pillows - yes there are spares but under the bed not covered against dust (COPD sufferer) Bit taken aback by no hob - no boiled eggs. That awful school room list of rules, no welcome folder. WHY stagnant green water in a vase of plastic flowers.
- Ann (9/5): Perfect for what we needed beautifully styled with everting you need - Perfectly formed property with excellent facilities. Bed frame made an irritating squeaky noise when rolled over kept waking us up.
The outside did not match the inside
- aniela (10/5): We stayed for a night on passing through the Wye valley and wished we could have stayed longer . Looking forward to comi - Such a lovely , arty , simple , comfy place to stay - everything you need !

- Lord (8/5): A nice place fantastic location but not for me - Great location, easy to find.
Lots of local walks and pubs close to the property.
Very clean and well laid out.
Liked that the kitchen had an air fryer and microwave (did not use them as only there for one night and visited the local pub) Shame the bush was blocking the view out of the window.
Have stayed local to this area where biscuits or cakes were in the room plus some milk - i know it was not highlighted in the booking but it adds a couple of points to the stay.
Maybe a map laying out where we needed to park and where we were allowed to explore in the garden as its a large garden with some nice views but felt like we were invading your private areas.
- Claire (10/5): Fantastic little find! Loved it - It was clean, well presented, well equipped, and nicely tucked away. Even had a coffee machine & air fryer!
Paul was great when I got lost! He also pointed me in the right direction of food when I asked.
Bed was comfy, and shower clean & very powerful.
Perfectly located for paddling the Wye/Symonds Yat.
One tip…. Use W3W to find it, not the postcode! As a solo female, I’d have liked a bolt on my side of the gym door to ensure it couldn’t open.
