• Goodrham (10/5): Excellent. Would stay there again if in the area. - Location good for my requirements. Breakfast wasn’t included. Nothing. Excellent accommodation and very friendly and helpful hostess.
• Miranda (7/5): - I liked the size of the room, the view and the location was pretty good. I didn’t realise when I booked it that it was a room in someone’s house, so it felt a bit nerve racking approaching and unlocking someone’s front door. In saying that it still was a private and secure room with everything I needed.

• Robert (9/5): Very pleasant stay. - I very much liked the location, parking, welcome I received and indeed the self-contained room. The bed and en-suite were first class. Also the cost - very reasonable. It would have been nice to have a proper sink to wash cutlery, etc., independently of having to use facilities outside the room.
• RUTH (10/5): - Everything as described and of good quality. Private and personal (helpful host if needed). I especially wanted somewhere close to Newark Northgate Station, which bub it is!

• Leprechaun (10/5): Home from home - My bedroom was very clean nicely laid out. A desk for me to work at which is essential as I’m a videographer/ editor. Ensuite bathroom and shower with nice hot water, fresh towels, tea and coffee making facilities and a microwave a TV. Perfectly located for my business at Newark show ground. Nothing all was good

• Burton (10/5): Exceptional - The room was very clean, cozy and comfortable with the added bonus of faculties such as microwave and toaster and fridge in the room so had everything I needed for a comfortable stay I stay over in nottinghamshire oftern with work and enjoyed the homely feel and the faculties. • Saurabh (5/5): Passable - No breakfast. Need more cleaning. Also I was expecting older people grounds floor. To hard for us to take upstairs everything. Not clear advertising. No independent. Owner lives in the same house. Room in attic. I bump my head twice at night. Very low celling . Bathroom very hard to get in . Because sliding doors I can’t open all . Metal rack was touching. Difficult to get in and get out from shower room. Need to be hotel standard. I go every week in different hotels. Parking was very safe.

• Welsby (8/5): Very nice accommodation, easy access. Would book again if visiting Newark again. - Good location and parking. Nice comfortable room and decor spotlessly clean. Beautifully carpeted so didn't mind removing outside footwear. Shower not fitted with antislip covering so was not comfortable in the cubicle. Room was very warm as top of building even with no heating on. Opened windows to sleep but aperture small.

• Sue (6/5): Nice location perfect for visiting Newark, but we found the property cold. - Breakfast not provided at this facility. Location was nice for a river walk and handy for shops. Parking excellent. The bedroom was very cold, one thin quilt & thin blanket. Draft coming through the window vents, there was no heating on.
• Anthony (10/5): Comfortable and clean overnight stay - The location was great for an event that was local which was only six minutes away by car. The property was easy to find and there is good safe parking availability across the road. Bev ,the owner, gave very clear instructions for both parking and how to access the property on the morning of departure. The bedroom is well appointed with a good microwave, mini fridge and modern hot water kettle. T It is up two flights of stairs to the bedroom, so this may not suit guests with mobility issues. The shower was good along with complimentary soap and shampoo. There is a Costa coffee and M&S Simply food supermarket nearby which was handy for our visit. The house is situated behind shopping centres such as Homebase which gives a slightly lower tone access to the area, but once past these the riverside estate is attractive and creates a good environment. No Breakfast option was offered, but this was easily resolved visiting the local shops!

• Julie (10/5): Tranquil, comfortable. - The host, Bev, is a lovely lady committed to making your stay comfortable. Quiet and private location at the top of the house. Wifi and streaming great. Comfortable bed and great shower. Close to amenities and A46. Good parking. There is a lovely walk along the River Trent in both directions, just in front of the property. Only a couple of small things: there is a microwave in the room, would be handy for there to be a small fridge; small table or desk to work from.

Lovely bedroom with thoughtful extras such as microwave, toiletries, towels, tea and coffee etc. Comfortable bed with amazing pillows! So quiet, we weren't actually sure if anyone else was in! Easy to get the key from the lockbox with the pin provided. Host was communicative and allowed us to check in slightly earlier than normal. Thanks!
