• Cristina (9/5): - The hotel room was amazing. I loved the upstairs pool and the downstairs pool. During the day, the downstairs pool was great because it was in the shade. The top one is amazing to see the sunset. The beach nearby was much quieter, which we really enjoyed. We had a problem with the AC, and they solved it immediately. And the hotel also helped us get a taxi for when we had to leave.

• Maartje (10/5): Geweldig! - Dit is een prachtig hotel met heerlijke ruime kamers en fijn en groot bed. De inrichting is prachtig net als het uitzicht op de zee. Alles is met veel detail vorm gegeven en ook het zwembad en bad op het dak zijn heerlijk. De eigenaar was erg vriendelijk en ontzettend goed te bereiken via whatsapp. Ze heeft ons meerdere keren geholpen. De locatie van het hotel was voor ons top. Het ligt net buiten het centrum waardoor het lekker rustig is rondom het hotel. In nog geen 5 min lopen waren we in het centrum waar we genoten van de winkeltjes en eetgelegenheden. In een paar minuten ben je bij een heerlijk restaurant en verschillende ontbijt/koffie plekjes. Wij zouden het verblijf zo opnieuw boeken.
• Ann-Kathrin (10/5): - Wir wurden sehr herzlich von Flor begrüsst und haben anschliessend schöne Tage verbringen dürfen. Das Hotel liegt etwas ausserhalb, was uns jedoch gut gefiel. In der Nähe gibt es eine super Standbar und für die eigene Verpflegung steht eine kleine Küche zur Verfügung. Der untere Pool ist super erfrischend. Die Klimaanlagen hatten keinen guten Geruch, weshalb wir hauptsächlich natürlich gelüftet haben. (Es hat Fliegengitter) Da es doch sehr warm ist, wäre die Klimaanlage hilfreich gewesen. In der Küche könnten ein/zwei Tücher zum Abtrocknen hilfreich sein.
• Johanna (10/5): WOW! - COCCOLOBA ist wirklich etwas ganz Besonderes! Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Die ganze Unterkunft ist ein Traum, das Zimmer, der Balkon und vor allem aber die Dach Terrasse mit Pool und Meerblick! In ca 10 Minuten zu Fuß ist man inmitten des Geschehens. Die Kommunikation mit Flor verlief reibungslos, sie ist super freundlich und auch der Check IN hat super geklappt! Absolute Empfehlung :)

• Johanna Rein (10/5): Highly recommend staying here! - We really enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Holbox! Flor was an incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating host, always responsive and easy to communicate with. The accommodation is slightly outside the main "town", but it’s an easy and pleasant walk there (+- 8 min), which we really appreciated, as it felt more peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle. It is also just a 2 min walk to the beach. The kitchen is quite small and basic, so it’s not ideal if you are planning to cook a lot, however that was not an issue for us. Overall, a great stay and we would definitely recommend it!

• Diana (10/5): Tolle Wohnung mit Zugang zur Dachterasse - Wir hatten eine Wohnung im zweiten Obergeschoss und waren sehr happy mit dem super bequemen Bett, dem Kühlschrank und dem gefilterten Wasser, das täglich aufgefüllt wurde. Die Dachterasse mit Pool war ein Traum und Flor war super lieb. Außerdem gab es Fliegengitter an den Fenstern. Danke für alles! Tipp: Im El Velero Beach Club (50m die Straße runter) gibt es für einen Mindestverzehr von 500 MXN wunderschöne Strandcabanas mit Liegen, Sonnendach und sauberen Toiletten am Strand. Unbedingt Ceviche bestellen!

• Edna Angelica (10/5): Un lugar perfecto para unas vacaciones relajantes. - Excelente lugar para hospedarse, es tranquilo, con hermosas vistas bien planificadas por la arquitectura del edificio, diseño muy limpio perfecto para relajarte y dejarte llevar por el ambiente de la isla. Y la atención por parte del staff, no se puede pedir más Flor te atiende super amable y rápido por cualquier duda o solicitud que fuera necesario hacer. Todo perfecto. Mi única recomendación, que es por tema estético de la luz, es que cambien los focos de las lámparas bajas a luz cálida, la luz blanca y fría rompe mucho con la atmosfera del lugar y de los focos de luz cálida en el techo.

• Magdalena (10/5): Schöne Unterkunft mit Meerblick - Die zwei Pools haben uns sehr gut gefallen, sie waren sehr sauber und der obere hat einen schönen Ausblick. Außerdem war die Gastgeberin sehr nett und ist auf Extrawünsche eingegangen. Die Laufnähe zum Strand und zur Stadt waren sehr praktisch. Während unseres Aufenthalts, gab es von 11 Uhr bis ungefähr 19 Uhr eine sehr laute Baustelle. Diese hat vor allem auf der Dachterrasse gestört, dafür kann aber die Unterkunft nichts.

Décoration très soignée !

• Ira (10/5): Super tolle Zeit - Der Aufenthalt im Coccoloba war fantastisch. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Wir hatten das Apartment "Sunrise to Sunset Suite (Seaview)" und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Der Balkon mit Meerblick ist toll. Die Terrasse auf dem Dach mit dem Pool ist ein Traum! Die Lage zum Ort war für uns perfekt: Gut fußläufig zu erreichen, aber nicht mitten im Trubel. Fußweg zum Strand mit bestem Blick auf den Sonnenuntergang nur 2 Minuten. Trinkwasser wurde kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellt. Preis für das Taxi vom Hafen waren 150 MXN. In der Wohnung war alles super! Die Straße verläuft direkt unter dem Balkon, daher ist es etwas lauter, wenn die Buggys vorbeifahren, aber da kann die Unterkunft nichts für. Nachts war es aber sehr ruhig.

We received an amazing welcome from Fleur who was available throughout our stay for anything we needed. She was quick to answer queries and help us out with information about the island, she was super helpful and provided an amazing service! Furniture and decoration was also nice (we just needed a bit more storage!) Our property didn’t have a balcony like we were anticipating which was a shame given the location and made it difficult to dry clothes. The room was also very minimalist which made storing our things and keeping the room tidy a bit difficult.

Door de foto’s leek het alsof het beneden zwembad hoorde bij jou kamer, dit was helaas een algemeen zwembad. Ook hadden wij een pakket aangeschaft waarbij zeezicht beloofd werd, dit was helaas ook niet het geval. Tot slot hebben we meerdere malen zonder stroom en/of water gezeten, waarschijnlijk een probleem voor het hele blok, maar nog steeds een hindering.

• Milda (10/5): We loved it! - We loved our 4 night stay at Coccoloba! It’s very stylish, in a convenient yet quiet location, and felt calm and comfortable throughout. The moka pot was a lovely touch, and we really appreciated the sustainable approach to drinking water- having unlimited filtered water available meant no need to buy plastic bottles during our stay. Although we didn’t use the swimming pools, they definitely added to the overall feeling of tranquility. The rooftop is beautiful, with sun loungers and a hammock- the perfect spot to watch the sunset. Maria was incredibly sweet and welcoming. She gave us excellent restaurant recommendations, organised a private transfer to Mérida, and helped arrange our laundry, which made everything very easy. Overall, we highly recommend Coccoloba! N/A

Bardzo przyjemna część wspólna na dachu, z której można oglądać wschody i zachody słońca + dostępne są maty do ćwiczeń. Hotel jest położony idealnie- bardzo blisko plaży, a do głównej ulicy prowadzi kilkuminutowy spacer, dzięki czemu wszystko jest blisko, a równocześnie okolica jest bardzo spokojna i cicha. Maria była cudownym gospodarzem :)

Qualidade das toalhas e produtos de banho pode ser melhorada. Acabamos por sair uma noite mais cedo do que o previsto, e tivemos alguma dificuldade em contactar o alojamento para o check-out.

Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Gastgeberin – unglaublich herzlich, aufmerksam und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!
• Vicente (10/5): Relajo y comodidad - Muy rico lugar, bien equipado y con buena ubicación: cerca del centro pero lejos del ruido. La terraza de la azotea es increíble. Revisaría las duchas, ya que el agua caliente dura 1-2 minutos y luego se empieza a enfriar el agua.
• Mara (9/5): Absolute Empfehlung - Ich hatte einen tollen Aufenthalt in Coccoloba. Maria war eine wundervolle Gastgeberin und sehr bemüht, dass es mir nichts fehlte und sie hatte tolle Tips und hilfreiche Kontakte. Die Unterkunft ist in einer top Lage, etwas außerhalb vom Ortskern, der jedoch mit einem kurzen Fußweg gut zu erreichen ist. Durch die Lage ist es nachts relativ ruhig. Der Weg ist beleuchtet und belebt, ich habe mich als Alleinreisende zu keinem Zeitpunkt unsicher oder unwohl gefühlt. Die Dachterrasse ist der wahnsinnig und insbesondere bei Sonnenaufgang ein Highlight. Besonders gefiel mir auch, dass sie Trinkwasser bereit stellen, um so Plastikmüll durch Flaschen zu vermeiden. Was für mich leider nicht zur Ästhetik der Unterkunft passt, sind die Wasserflecken an der Decke im Zimmer und im Bad. Ebenso befanden sich Haare im Siphon des Waschbeckens und der Dusche. Jeweils eine kleine Abdeckung hätte das behoben.. Die Zimmer sind wirklich sehr hellhörig. Sofern Sie laute Nachbaren haben, wird das zum Problem. Ich hatte Glück und es war ruhig in der Nacht. Zu guter Letzt: ein Handtuchwechsel zwischendurch wäre wünschenswert. Ich bin mir zwar sicher, dass dies auf Nachfrage erfolgt wäre aber auch als das Zimmer gereinigt wurde, wurden keine Habdtücher getauscht.

She was the perfect hostess – incredibly kind, attentive, and went above and beyond to help us. When the ferries stopped running, she arranged a private transfer for us, which made it possible to catch our flight on time. In short: don’t hesitate – book this place if you’re coming to Holbox! /

• Sarah (10/5): Super séjour sur l'Île d'Holbox - L'emplacement est parfait, au calme et près du centre ville, à pied. L'île est en-soi petite. Maria nous a très bien accueilli et nous a donné tous les tips nécessaires pour profiter pleinement de notre séjour. Elle a toujours été disponible à chaque fois que nous avions besoin de quelque chose (notamment les tours réservés auprès d'elle). Elle connaît très bien l'Île et les locaux. La chambre était très jolie et propre. Le logement complet en lui-même est décoré et a été réalisé avec beaucoup de goût. La petite piscine sur le toit : un vrai plus pour se rafraîchir et regarder le coucher de soleil si on ne veut pas aller sur la plage. Point à améliorer ou repenser : le petit-déjeuner proposé dans un autre "hôtel" à quelques mètres mais qui n'est pas compris dans le prix de la chambre ni proposé en supplément. Cette option pourrait être intéressante même s'il y a une réduction en séjournant chez l'hôte en le mentionnant lors de votre venue le matin.

En la cocineta había un frasco con café rico para preparar en cafetera italiana, otro con aceite de oliva delicioso, un botellón de agua y utensilios para calentar comida. Además, proporcionaron toallas de playa. Detalles que hicieron la estadía mucho más agradable. Esta un poco lejos del centro y hay pocos restaurantes o tiendas a la mano.

• José Adrian (10/5): best find in holbox for quiet seekers - we loved the price-quality experience of a very eco friendly, very clean and well decorated apartment with a stunning view to nature and a gorgeous rooftop with a pool. Also, we found a lot of tranquility. The hotel dedicated in helping us with finding great experiences in the island with a very human and warm touch. Thank you so much for everything ❤️🇦🇷
• Riccardo (10/5): Perfect place in Holbox - The place is stunning, from our room you could see the sea, and from the pool on the roof the wonderful starry sky. It is close to the center but far enough that it’s very quiet. Maria was a fantastic host, kind, nice and available for our needs (advices, tours, taxis). A perfect place to relax and explore if you want to. Nothing really.

• Murray (10/5): Paradise on Holbox, amazing accommodation! - An absolutely amazing property just on the outskirts of the noise of the town, two amazing pools and huge spacious rooms. The rooftop pool is the best place to spend a new hours, our room also had a huge balcony overlooking the island which was great to relax on. Maria the host was an absolute gem. The room was fully equipped with everything included fresh filtered water, coffee amongst other things. I cannot recommend here enough! Nothing, it’s all amazing!

• Johannes (9/5): Paradijs in een paradijs. - Coccoloba ligt op een mooie plek. Op een kleine 10 minuten lopen van het levendige centrum (!) en 150 meter van het strand (en Café del mar). Ons appartement had uitzicht op zee (twee kanten) en op het dakterras kun je (in een kleine pool) van de legendarische zonsondergang genieten. Appartement voldeed aan alle verwachtingen en onze host Maria zorgde voor een warm welkom. Dat we aan drie dagen niet genoeg hadden! En dat geen enkele ATM op onze ING-pas werkte (maar gelukkig hadden we genoeg pesos en USD bij ons ... TIP!)

• Anna (9/5): Superb - So clean, very well designed and super quiet. It’s far enough from the main bit that you don’t get any of the music or noise but so close it’s just a short walk away. Love the little touches like providing water bottles to take to the beach.

• Edel (10/5): Really lovely host, safe , beautiful apartment, great value , I will be back - I would come back here without a doubt. Maria the host is so lovely, tbe apartment is lovely and modern and clean with great air con and feels safe and spacious. Plus she leaves some items in tbe fridge for a low cost if you need. There is a fab coffee maker and free coffee available.
• Casper (9/5): 100% recommendation - Amazing place Coccoloba is brand new, looks amazing and is near the beach. The apartments are great (we rented two apartments), nice style and good beds. Aga is a great host, we’ve really enjoyed the island! 100% recommendation.
