Hosts were welcoming and provided useful information. Lots of nice touches such as provision of milk, teabags etc. The walk into town via a wooded valley was easy. Nothing

A great host who made sure we had - Had everything we needed as Jackie had literally thought of everything. It was spotlessly clean and everything was as new. A very minor point but we’re used to blackout curtains so woke up early due to the light (as I say very minor).

A lovely, quiet property but in walking distance of Fowey. Jackie was a great host; friendly with lots of local knowledge. We loved everything about our stay Nothing

• Conabeare (10/5): Brilliant - The accommodation is excellent the pictures dont do it justice. Jackie was very lovely and showed us around explaining how everything worked and how to use the woodburner if needed. Would recommend this lovely little gem . Could not fault it.

• Wickham (10/5): Delightful stay - Everything was done to a very high standard indeed. Very well-appointed kitchen (sharp knives!) and very comfortable bed. Shower powerful and easy to control. Handy for local buses and a good base for exploring the area on foot. Friendly , welcoming host. Nothing to not like. Everything was great.

• Charly (10/5): Peaceful retreat in an ideal location. - Perfect size for two with all the mod cons in the kitchen and lovely heated towel rail in the bathroom. Very warm and cosy with a lovely fire. Nothing, it was perfect.
• Magnus (10/5): Cosy, homely and value for money! - Immaculate, the layout was brilliant, fully filled with all the kitchen equipment you would want for cooking including seasoning. Loved the fire for the winter nights. Bed was comfy. Jackie welcomed us when we arrived and gave us a little tour. Very welcoming all round and gave local recommendations. Nothing.

• Tasker (10/5): Perfect hideaway retreat - The location was great for walks into the country, local beach , or to walk into Fowey. It was tucked away from traffic noises with private parking and outside space. A perfect haven to relax, very well thought out layout with absolutely every detail thought out. Exceptionally well furnished and decorated with a very large comfortable bed. Beautiful soft towels, large shower. Plenty of space for 2 people. I loved everything, so thoughtful with books, puzzles, games, umbrella's and torches. Sadly isn't wasn't cold enough to try out the already made stove fire. I couldn't find anything I didn't like!

• keith (10/5): Stay was fabulous. Best recommendation is that we would certainly stay here again. - Absolutely spotlessly clean. Just about everything has been thought of that you might require. Hosts were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. If you are looking for perfection then this is as close as you are going to get. Absolutely nothing.

Hygga itself is perfect, spotlessly clean and with everything you need for a comfortable stay, and the location is great, with a lovely walk down through the trees to Readymoney Cove and on into Fowey. I would love to come back one day!

• Raine (10/5): Home from home - Hygga is a lovely place where everything has been thought of to make your stay perfect. Bed was extremely comfortable and a great shower. Weather wasn't great whilst we were there but we did manage to have breakfast in the garden once which was lovely and very peaceful. You need to be aware it is a good walk into Fowey. It's a lovely walk but not suitable if you have mobility issues and parking in Fowey isn't easy from what we saw. To go out at night we walked in and used a local taxi service to get back which was only £8 just because the path is not lit back and wooded. We would definitely stay here again and Jackie and Bob are great hosts with nothing being too much trouble. Nothing

Jackie and Bob were welcoming and friendly hosts. Our two night stay was far too short as Fowey is in a lovely part of Cornwall and there is much to see and do. Thank you Jackie and Bob for a lovely stay. Everything was perfect.

Thankyou so much to Jackie for making us welcome Hyga is so relaxing and comfortable Such a sweet little garden sitting watching the birds and wildlife with a coffee in the morning A 15 minute walk down into town but also a great jumping off point to visit other areas even the North coast for some body boarding The accommodation is well presented and immaculately clean Would definitely recommend to anyone Nothing

• Joy (10/5): A warm hug like it,s name - The comfort and the quiet, peaceful ambience . I was made very welcome by Jackie and Bob. Visiting my elderly Mum but it was lovely to return to such lovely accommodation and great walks.Hope to return again. Nothing it was perfect.

It is a slightly awkward walk into and back from the centre of Fowey although the owner (Jackie) did advise us of an alternative easier route that we could take next time.

Absolutely spotless and can I just say, the towels, bedding smelt amazing. I was only there for one night as i had an early morning in Fowey the next day. I can whole heartedly recommend this property and if I ever work in Fowey again I’d definitely contact them to stay again.

• Helen (10/5): Hygga by name, Hygga by nature 😁 - We had a wonderful stay at Hygga. The care and attention to detail is unparalleled! It was spotlessly clean, and really comfortable. Jackie and Bob are great hosts - excellent communication and there if you need them. Everything worked perfectly. The garden was delightful, filled with birdsong and sunlight ( we were very lucky with the weather). We loved the walk into Fowey through the woods. We ate at Sam’s one night, one of Jackie’s recommendations, and very good, but do book in advance, people were getting turned away. And we cooked at Hygga the other nights, and the kitchen is well equipped and easy to use. There’s even a small dishwasher. It was great that oil, salt pepper, coffee tea and milk were all provided. We will definitely be back! Nothing
• Danielle (10/5): Peaceful, restorative, well located - The location was perfect and Jackie and Bob were wonderful hosts who very kindly collected us from the nearest train station as we travelled by train. It was a very peaceful place to stay and a short walk to Fowey with easy access to the SWCP. Our highlight was the view of the sunrise over the garden whilst we had our morning cup of tea.

• Stephen (10/5): Fantastic Holiday spot. - Hygga is in the perfect location for exploring southern Cornwall, Fowey town and Ready Money Cove are a 15 minute walk away, lost Gardens of Heligan/Mevagissey, Bodmin, Looe are all within 30 mins by car. The place itself was beautiful, a really comfortable bed, fantastic wood burner, nice little kitchen, superb shower and as it has WiFi you can even log in to your Netflix account if you want to! One note of caution if you light the fire, the place gets very warm very quickly so do bear that in mind. For the kitchen, there was even salt, pepper and olive oil available if you decide to rattle the pots and pans This is a tough one, err, there wasn't a potato peeler? That is it, otherwise pretty much perfect!

Jackie gave us a full introduction and was on hand if we needed anything. Would have loved better weather to have more use of the deligthful garden but no one can guarantee that.

• Simon (10/5): Perfect Property, perfect hosts, perfect stay. - The detached Property is perfect for 2 people , it’s cozy with log burner for chilly nights, super clean, very comfortable and furnished without compromise with a very nice furnished patio, garden and off road parking. The location is excellent for Fowey’s local attractions, pubs, restaurants and outstanding walks yet tucked away down a leafy lane close to The Pretty Bus Stop where you can access transport up and down the hill to town and further afield. The owners are friendly, professional hosts, available if needed for suggestions/advice or a chat yet totally aware of privacy and space, their communication from booking through to welcome and leaving is superb and the whole experience has been a pleasure.

Jackie and Bob were most welcoming on our arrival, the attention to detail throughout the cottage is excellent. Also has the private outside space which was lovely. It was all perfect!

• Julian (10/5): Hygga is a lovely place to stay, it is spotlessly clean and a perfect place to stay. - Location; Hygga is close to beaches and the beautiful town of Fowey. It is very well appointed and spotlessly clean, the kitchen has a full sized oven, dishwasher and a fridge/freezer. There is a small seated outdoor space and parking. It is situated in a quiet area, so is a very peaceful place to stay. Nothing, everything was just perfect.

• Michael (10/5): Unforgettable holiday home - Very comfortable, quiet new property of 5 star quality. Log burner, barbeque even freshly baked ginger biscuits. Fantastic bed, choice of quilts and pillows Hosts very knowledgeable about the area. The location is brilliant. Highly recommended. A home from home. Some of the country roads around the area were very narrow.

Received a warm welcome on arrival & host was very friendly & helpful. Location was quiet & secluded. I could walk to small beach or into Fowey in about 20mins which suited me perfectly.
• Catherine (10/5): A cosy, comfortable and well equipped compact house with a garden and patio.. - The compact one bedroom newly built house was light and airy. It was well equipped and comfortable. There was parking outside and access to a small patio. The bed and sofa were both very comfortable which made it easy to relax Nothing could be improved. It was a lovely place within 5 minutes drive of the Readymoney Cove car park, if walking it took about 20 minutes down a good path to the beach itself.
