Guest Reviews
- Nessa (10/5): Amazing property! - Friendliest hosts ever. Helpful and kind.
Super facilities, immaculate and inviting! There was absolutely nothing to dislike.
- Tim (10/5): Thoughtful, well appointed and cosy apartment - Fully loaded cosy apartment with excellent facilities and well thought out layout. Nice and cool in the hot summer with the basement aspect, but still views of the well-kempt garden and friendly cat Willow coming to say hello in the mornings. Very accomodating and friendly hosts Only slight criticism is although there is an excellent washer and drier, no detergent to get started on a wash on arrival - just enough for one load would be very welcome.
- David (8/5): A memorable holiday in Cornwall. - We found he location very easily. We had a very warm welcome from Racquel who pointed out various information about the apartment. It was very spacious and well decorated. All areas were bright and well laid out. We found the bed so comfortable. There was a wall stand with many leaflets to all local visitor attractions which we found very helpful.
All together a very welcome experience and we would recommend a stay at this beautiful apartment. Nothing.
- Jonathon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Angus (8/5): A really nice break in a clean comfortable apartment. - Lovely apartment, very clean and very well maintained with spacious bedrooms and living room. Convenient location. Everything was made very easy for us on arriving and leaving. The hosts were really nice, very pleasant and attentive when we needed it. The hosts had just started providing really nice cooked breakfasts at a small extra cost and it was well worth it for the convenience. The apartment was in the basement of a house which we weren’t expecting, but having said that there were no problems in regards to our privacy.
- Kieran (9/5): Friendly, welcoming, overall great place! - There was very little to complain about. Everything was clean, comfortable and we couldn't ask for more welcoming hosts. Even working around our very late arrival time! The Wi-Fi is quite patchy but isn't the end of the world; there's plenty to do out and about in the day.
- Tim (9/5): A very spacious apartment with excellent facilities. - A very spacious whole apartment with excellent facilities. Fully equipped kitchen, excellent shower, comfortable bedrooms, spacious living room with excellent TV. Good WIFI coverage throughout property. Very friendly hosts. If I was to make any observation, there are stairs to the front door and then stairs down into the apartment. No worse than any upstairs room. Be aware when booking with less mobile guests.
- Teresa (10/5): Relaxing - Very comfortable and well equipped with lots of attention to detail, in beautiful surroundings.
- Margaret (9/5): Nice comfortable stay, would come again - Booked this place for parents and their friends to stay whilst visiting the Eden Project. Lovely experience - was very comfortable and clean in a good location. Very friendly hosts, Racquel was always willing to help. Would highly recommend. Thank you
- Martin (10/5): Great place to stay - The accommodation was clean and the facilities were excellent everything you needed and more. Centre point for going places and the host Raquel and alan were very welcoming would recommend very highly.
- Geraint (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joy (9/5): Superb - The apartment was spacious and nicely furnished, with small extra touches such as chocolates, slippers and toiletries.. The kitchen was particularly well kitted out and had everything we needed (and more besides) plus some empty cupboards to store our food.
The water for washing up and showering was hot, and we slept well at Hilltop. There was parking on site, which was appreciated.
Our hosts were very welcoming, both when we arrived and the couple of times we saw them after that. They recommended places to visit and supplied the number of a local taxi firm.
We stayed there as a base for walking the South West Coast Path, and this worked well.
Thank you to our hosts.
