Guest Reviews
- Suzy (9/5): We had a wonderful break and the house had many good points. - The position of the property was great just a few hundred yards walk to the beach. We very much liked the roof top, hot tub area and the views from the living room were wonderful. The property was well equipped and the beds very comfortable. The lift was useful as the rooms are spread over 4 floors but we could put all our groceries into the lift for the 3rd floor kitchen. The view from downstairs was somewhat spoilt by the renovations of the hotel nearby as there was a fair amount of tall fencing. This however would be out of the control of the owners and will stop at some point. The double glazing was blown in some windows so that the view was misted and the floors were very noisy. We were a party of 10 (5 couples all with cars). The info had mention garaged parking along with space outside however the garage was a games room so not available. Luckily Fulmar was the last house so no one had to pass us and we were out of season. With a space in the overflow and by pilling ourselves together we just fitted in. There is really only room for two cars in the allotted space and council parking was expensive, I think this could be made clearer in the description. I was really disappointed with the lack of communication after the kettle gave one of us a mains electric shock. After requesting a new kettle which arrived promptly the next day there was no apology for around a week. The kettle was clearly damaged as I had noticed some burned areas inside but didn't think anything of it. If it had been my house I would have been mortified and very apologetic immediately.
- Mohammed (9/5): Superb Staycation - Everything was great. Me and my family loved our staycation. The weather let us down for a couple of days, but that's not the properties fault. They fortunately had enough entertainment (pool table, ping pong, hot tub) to keep everyone happy indoors. Definitely looking to return in the Summer! Not enough food places locally.
