Guest Reviews
- Radoslava (10/5): - Amazing place and magical view.Everything you need for the perfect family/friends Holiday
- Kamran (10/5): -
- Julie (9/5): - Great view and loads of space N/a
- Robert (8/5): Stunning houses with amazing sea views. Well equipped kitchen and lovely decor. - Key code emailed the day before we arrived Lift was not working and we were not informed of this beforehand. Called agency and they said it had not worked for a few weeks. Some of our group had bad backs, it was not pleasant carry bags over multiple staircases. No contact from them since last Thursday 16/10.
Flooring in games room needs immediate attention. The floor tiles are trip hazards . We did not report this as i don't believe it should be up to guests to report such conditions. Houses should be readily checked by agent or owner.

- Amanda (10/5): Exceptional - from the moment we picked the keys up and entered the house we were blown away the welcome food pack was much appriciated as we hadn't shopped before arrival the fizz was a lovely touch as were the scones.
The games room was fantastic another bonus was the hot tub but the views from every floor were outstanding you would never tire of that !
This was booked for my husband's 60th birthday and he and our family had the best time so much so we will visit again .
- Debbie (10/5): Great family mini break. - Great location with amazing views. Plenty of room for all 9 of the party. Beds were ok from a comfort point of view. Really enjoyed the games room/hot tub/spa I personally would have preferred a softer bed.
- Trevor (10/5): Peace & quiet, with family fun & laughter. - We were a family group of 4 adults and 3 children. With 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms over 4 levels, we all had plenty of space and comfort. The rooms are large and have great views. The ground floor games area with air hockey and ping-pong table kept the children occupied for hours at a time. The hot tub on the top level was used every evening, and it was cleaned and checked during our stay. Many thanks for the little things such as filter coffee, milk, cling wrap, foil and plenty of loo rolls that were here for our arrival. We walked up and back to the pub, which was great. The lift is very useful for heavy bags! And, the children went crabbing successfully, so all smiles. Well don’t visit if you want a party village - go there if you want views, peace & quiet, walks &/or golf.
- Samantha (9/5): Fantastic clean venue - Lovely clean place to stay with great facilities. Fabulous views. Games room a great addition. Nice to have milk, biscuits, dishwasher tablets, coffee etc on arrival. Lift was a very welcomed asset. The bedding was lovely but all the mattresses were really hard and we got back ache. The hot tub only had 2 sides working and they were not very strong.
- Susy (10/5): Exceptional house, spotless, well set up, amazing views, great hot tub and games room - What an amazing house to rent. Perfectly set up for holiday lettings - games room, lift, hot tub, sun deck etc. Everything was exceptionally clean and well set up when we arrived. Good beds and linens, and bathrooms all spotless. The kitchen/diner/sitting room is unique with the outward view to the sea - whatever the weather. We visited in the winter with rain and wind - still stunning. In the summer it would be a fabulous terrace area to enjoy. Portwrinkle Holidays were great to deal with. Very responsive and professional. Really couldn't fault the house or the service and would recommend to anyone wanting to find a little hidden corner of Cornwall.
Some houses claim to be good for 2/3 families sharing or 10 guests in comfort but don't deliver - this house would be perfect.
The village itself is just a beach and cafe (not open in the winter). But the Finnygood Inn a short walk up the hill is a great place for a pint or a meal. Local coastal walks are very hilly but offer amazing views and a walk to Whitsand Bay. During our stay we joked about what we could complain about. Couldn't think of anything!
