• Reinhard Oehler (2/5): Auto aufgebrochen. WC im Wohnzimmer - Nettes Personal, netter Ort Mein Auto wurde vor dem Meyerhof aufgebrochen, obwohl mir ein Parkplatz zugesichert war, der aber besetzt war. Schaden 200 €. Toilette war offen ohne Abtrennung im Wohn- und Schlafraum.

• STUART (9/5): Highly recommended for a comfortable safe stay near everything Cape Town has to offer. - Location , calm and safety The people were magnificent but I struggled with the extremely chilled approach. My laundry was still on the line at 0845 when I needed to leave for the airport at 09:15 … it seemed difficult to in-still a sense of urgency. If I wasn’t on the clock then I am sure I would have embraced the “now now”

Roy (and team) was phenomenal in meeting folks when they landed at odd hours, accommodated early check-ins and even allowed a late checkout (when a flight cancellation disrupted the planned stay).

• Alonso (10/5): Perfect place to stay in Cape Town, the room is great, the bathroom awesome and the house awesome - The room was super big with a full bathroom with bathtub. Also the owner was super friendly and nice. I had some health issues that made me cancel the previous booking and he was super great and concerned about me.

• Bruce (7/5): My Cape Bleisure Break - Meyerhof is a piece of blissful heaven in Plumstead. I did enjoy how centrally it is located to essential shops and restaurants. Roy and Mariam were phenomenal and very warm. Their friendly welcome and constant check ins were so priceless. . Meyerhof has some work to do on its rooms to ensure 10/10 ratings. If it means they close off one room at a time to do proper maintenance and checks to increase ratings, then it must be done. Meyerhof can be absolute magic if all facilities meet guests' comforts end to end. I had a few hiccups with the room for a few days at the start of my break that i did not enjoy. Roy made it up to allow me to bring family to the facility for a New year's braai. It's sad because the setbacks overshadowed the friendliness of the owner and staff. I also recommend cleanliness every second day.

• Hani (10/5): It was a great stay. - Meryam was very welcoming and helpful in providing information about the area. The area was quiet and safe. The apartment was facing a beautiful garden and a swimming pool. Waterfront is about 15-minute drive.

• Sam (10/5): The best place to stay when you need to feel like you are at home. - I have never been so cared for at any other place I have stayed. I was in shock because my daughter was in a serious life threatening accident. I arrived from overseas. Roy took care of me like family. He drove me to tje hospital. My clothes were washed. I am indebted. There is nothing to dislike. Everyone was quiet, polite, welcoming and friendly.
• Susan (9/5): A gem of a guesthouse. So peaceful. For me, a trip down memory lane having grown up there. Special. - Location was perfect for me. (Some might find it a bit off the beaten track but then that is also one of the beauties of the place.) An easy drive to shops, restaurants and other attractions. Made very welcome by host, Roy. No complaints.

• Matthew (10/5): Wonderful time with wonderful people - Everything, especially the kindness and hospitality from Roy and his entire family. If there were any snags, Roy immediately was on top of it. He even helped me find a place that could do laundry on Easter Weekend before I left the country! Roy’s an absolute legend, and I sincerely hope you get to meet him. Nothing
